my wife and I are retired. We’re disabled we own car we have to pay 300.00 a month which is outrageous we have never had any traffic violations for almost 10 years at the most. Why are they doing this to us? We live on a check by check basis can’t afford paying so much they were making me and wife’s life miserable to say the least

"Moved into our house one year ago. Roof was inspected with pictures and reported good with 2yr warranty. We are now moving and roof was inspected and there is hail damage. State farm will not cover roof so We have to pay $15,000+.... Thy haven't even looked at our roof. They claim there was no hail on our side of town by Casper mountain in the last year by their records. Even though there are hail videos!!! Evidently there was hail!!!! Haven't had any claims with them either. So definitely don't recommend State Farm Insurance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a ripoff!!!!!!"

Attempted to advocate for an older single woman to receive proper support in identifying the correct siding on her home so she could be fully indemnified for storm damage. We received one vague response that sided with the insurance carrier and no follow-up whatsoever. This lack of action contributes to the ongoing abuse of policyholders by corrupt insurance companies, and it's unacceptable.

So you pay your insurance bill every month and this is a service you would like to feel you can trust being you truly paying for one thing and that's the comfort of knowing if that one day and I mean first time ever asking insurance company for a payout to fix my truck with a $300 price tag every month that I will have my truck repaired and back to where it needs to be. Being a customized 2021 dodge ram classic warlock edition but it has been a month since my accident and did everything that was asked of me but today I received an envelope stating what they were paying and that there may be needed supplemental payments afterwards and that check was included in this said envelope. But there was no check and this a month later and you believe there will be more payments needed later to fix my truck. So why wouldn't be included in that check if you know there will be more payments needed later being I waited a month of driving my truck with my front end pushed in to receive my initial payment that wasn't even included like it was said in letter I received. So I call customer service and what nightmare that was! I ended up having to leave work because I was stuck on the phone and got no answers at all about my check and told to wait two more days to just ask about check that took 30 days for them to send me envelope with no check. I'm payed $40 an hour to work and waisted 5hours on the phone and loss of work because of this. So truly tell me what am I paying $300 a month for? Because since my accident I've not felt comfortable and actually feel a lot worse. I'm a contractor and could only imagine if I took years of payments to one day build a customer's dream house and for that day to come and not build that house and keep the money. Would that not be a crime? Would that not be fraud? Theft of services? Would it not make every major news station but isn't this what happens everyday at state farm? First time claim at 44yrs old and has been a nightmare!

I’ve had State Farm insurance for everything for over 30 years. My first agent was totally awesome, and I had him for 25 years. But I had to switch agents when he retire retired, and I just went with Lindsay Brown because she was closest. Last year my rates kept increasing every month for four months in a row for no apparent reason and with no explanation. I called Lindsay twice a month requesting a callback from someone to find out why, but I never got one. I was super busy, but finally after four months I decided to switch agents. At another State Farm agent‘s office, he put me on speakerphone and called Lindsay to inquire about the rate changes. She didn’t know I was in the room and explained how they all just ignore me because she doesn’t feel like explaining anything and she’s still mad I didn’t increase my coverage so she could get a bonus, then she said derogatory comments about me because I was injured years ago and have a limp. The new guy handled it professionally but was horrified. Needless to say, I switched to him that day. He’s super nice and has been as good as she was bad.
I will also say that I’ve never had a problem with their car coverage, but they don’t pay for house issues even if their policy states it should be covered.

Homeowners and Auto++ with State Farm. Basement flooded, called State Farm immediately. My agent was out on sick leave - spoke w claim rep at 800# - heating oil from furnace was mixed w foot of water - rep advised me to call s****** who they work with to start clean up. Water took out furnace, hot water, dryer & freezer. Called rep name that was provided by my reps office, Cindy, MC, who informed me she was busy in the middle of another claim...then don't answer your phone Cindy. She informed she was not my rep, hadn't seen my claim, oh wait here it is, your not covered. Emailed my reps office, they said ooops, Brione B. is your rep, they would call him for me and have him get right back to me. Sorry for the days long delay. No ret call from BB, but regional claims manager Jeremy S. called me to tell me BB wasn't in the office, but he was calling to mansplain to me and talk over me when answering his questions. Highlights: No rep ever returned my call to discuss damage. No rep ever set foot in my house to assess damage. Jeremy's team gets an A for consistency, in customer service, professionalism, I apparently was interrupting everyone I spoke with? What is your job again? What am I again? Long term customer. The take away from this was the lack of service, communication or inspection of the major damage to my house, Water took out furnace, hot water, dryer & freezer, 30k+ out of pocket. State Farm couldn't get the words "not covered" out of their mouths quick enough, even though no-one ever inspected the damage or the source. Just assumptions. I am required by law to have homeowners insurance. Seems they should be required to actually research damage before making decisions. Just got a phone call from State Farm asking if I want to renew one of the multiple auto plans I have with them? Should I mansplain my answer?

First and foremost, if it was possible to leave no stars I would. State Farm consistently rises the price of my claim but, gives you the run around when it comes to assisting with my claim. A couple of there agents is very unprofessional. One of them would not let me speak to her supervisor. Her response is there going to tell you the same thing! Overall just unsatisfied with there customer service and business!

Extremely unprofessional. I had State Farm for about two years with no tickets, no accidents, insurance paid on time, and never had been pulled over. I used roadside assistance twice while with the company, which apparently struck a nerve with them. They then kicked me off the insurance with no digital or physical notice. My dad is still insured with the company, and had asked them why they cancelled my insurance plan, and all they had to say was "I don't know." Just when you thought that was enough, they began raising my dad's monthly insurance bill, all due to the fact that I had been listed as a driver. Not sure what I ever did to them, but if it's "ethical" to kick someone off for using a benefit they PAID FOR, then ethicality isn't what it used to be.
