I filed a complaint through Ulta customer service department on June 24, 2024 regarding an a salon issue and the lack of resolve from store management or the district salon manager. Details of that complaint arent really necessary because my reason for this review is due to the lack of follow up from Ulta on my complaint. I have called customer service 4-5 times since logging my initial complaint in June because no one has reached out. I keep being told it has been escalated to their ******************** Ive spoke to several managers as well. None are able to transfer me to the department reviewing my complaint or to the ***************** I think 2 months is an absurd amount of time for a customer who has a complaint to not get a call or email addressing the issue.ULTA Beauty

I shopped at Ulta Beauty, they asked me to register for rewards program, but they never told me they were selling me a mastercard. I even asked when system was asking for my SSN & other details, why is that so just to login to rewards program, they said I need to enter all details to get the 20% discount. They never mentioned coz they were selling me a mastercard.After that when I didn't receive my card for almost 20days, I called to check, they said they don't have the right address, this happened 4-5 times, calling them & saying I don't have my card yet & they say its wrong address, every time I corrected it & every time they said 'your address is updated & your card is shipped with speed post'Finally after 4 months & wasting 5hrs of phone calls I received the card & the statement with bunch of late fees for every **************** getting accumulated. I called them to remove this fees, because I was just calling every few weeks to somehow get the card so that I don't have to pay the late fees.Finally I was tired & I said I will not pay the late **************** but I am ready to pay the exact purchase amount I made. They closed my account & disconnected my call by saying they can't hear me. Today I have the full balance + late fees + interest sitting on my account for someone else's mistake. May be entire Ulta beauty master card ******************* bank is a scam. They probably do this intentionally to make money, because people just might pay the *************** without knowing.Worst services ever! Ulta beauty mastercard!ULTA Beauty

I recently started having electrical problems with a dry bar blow dryer I had purchased At my nearest ulta location in 2023. I went to the ulta store on August 4th and they said that without my receipt I couldnt exchange it for store credit. I told them I had no idea where the receipt was and they said they would try and look it up for me. They were also unable to look it up because their system only goes back a few months. I said okay no problem Im gonna call customer service to try and locate my receipt. I called customer service and the person I was speaking to told me that they found my purchase but that it was against company policy for them to give me my receipt. I was shocked and I didnt understand why because it was MY purchase and I was having problems with the product. I asked to speak with the supervisor 3 times during that conversation and they refused to transfer me until I kept insisting. The supervisor was more unhelpful than anyone I had spoken to. When I went back to the store they said they can give me store credit for the lowest price it was ever sold at and I said that was fine. They said they would give me store credit for 12 dollars when I paid 150 for the blow dryer. I refused and went home. I recently found my receipt with the full price on there and went back to the ulta AGAIN and i had the worst customer service experience. I got passed around from manager to manager until I was rudely spoken to by one of them that told me they were unable to give me store credit because it has been a year since I bought it. I told them that I was not told this before. All I was told was that I needed proof of purchase and she started causing a scene with so many people around. I was very embarrassed. She also told me that I had to call Dry Bar to get this handled which I had never heard of because I bought the product from Ulta not DryBar. After wasting so much money and gas going there Im left with nothing but a broken blow dryer and embarrassment.ULTA Beauty

I went into Ulta because my friend gifted me a gift card for my recent birthday and I also went to pick up a $70 order from online. I go to the register and ********* checks me out and she asked me if I wanted 20% off my purchase I said No I will pay the remaining balance after gift card is used. She says it will help with my purchase, I asked her is it a credit card, she says no its a discount card, I said are you sure its not a credit card and she says NO, she said check the monitor and make sure your information is correct, I than noticed it asked for the last of my SSN number, I said you sure this is not a credit card and she says its just a discount card. She started to finish the transaction and says I dont owe anything and I was like how? She says its the 20% discount took care of the $69.34 amount. I thought that was strange, so she throws the Ulta brochure in the bag and says it will explain everything. I go to my car and immediately read the brochure and it was a Ulta Beauty credit card. I instantly started to shake because I'm in the process of buying a home an a credit card will mess up everything. I run back into the store and asked her why did she lie to me an she says its a discount card, I immediately asked for a manager, I was told the ** ***************************** was not in today. ****** was another manager that came to the front and ********* instantly lied and said she told me it was a credit card. I was so disappointed that she would lie, and I had someone on the phone and a customer behind me who heard the whole conversation at the time. ****** contacted the credit card company to try and stop everything, but I'm not sure if that will help with my house purchase. Something needs to be done about her scamming. I am not a person that easily buy things I don't want and she really made me feel very helpless at the time cause she signed me up with no full knowledge of what I was really signing up for. I contacted Ulta four times about a charge on my account saying I did not pay my bill correctly online. I verified my ***** payment got confirmation of payment. The computer obviously did not put in my correct account number and I was charged ***** fee plus 2.00 interest. On my ***** balance what a poor no customer service response. I was told to my would contact me in two days then told by another person it could Take 90 days for a response. After reading all the negative review I will not shop there anymore. I paid the ***** to avoid any collections but I feel !they dont care about the customer or the right way to. Handle a problem. People be aware they dont care about you just give you the runaround and will not do whats right. Dont shop there !!!!ULTA Beauty

Ulta cares nothing for customers privacy, information security, time and ultimately their business. My account has been hacked three times in the last 6 weeks. I'm promised follow up and precautions are being put in place and nothing happens. Their guest services will let any random person contact them to make changes to an account and ultimately redeem rewards points. It takes hours to resolve and just results in nothing. Terrible company. You can get products from many other places. Save yourself the trouble.ULTA Beauty

I had an amazing experience at Ulta. Ally gave me the best haircut. She is knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to me and gave great advise. I have had good stylists before and **** is the best. I also had a makeup consultation with the *** professional. I dont know much about makeup and ******** was incredible. She used the right colors for my face and everything looked awesome. She also gave me tips on how to use the products. I left feeling better about my look then I have ever before. I will definitely be back. Often.ULTA Beauty

**************** or any contact issues are very disappointing. It seems as if they can't do anything when it comes to something in your cart that was not checked out yesterday because of issues I had that were corrected today. And the one item that went off sale today was the biggest item on my cart. The employees in the store locally are amazing. This has nothing to do with them this was an online situation. But for anyone trying to correct one of their mistakes, I suggest you just walk away. Because they will not do anything for you. Even if it's their fault.ULTA Beauty

After using a gift card I got on my birthday to make a purchase online they banned me from online/app. They said that I used too many fraudulent purchases (I usually pay using app pay which only uses my ***** and that I also had too many addresses on my account. When checking all my addresses they were literally all my address but I have no idea why it was listed more than once. I reached out to them multiple times getting different answers especially when I asked why I was banned. At one point after the ban they told me to just restart everything again which if Im banned on app/online how would that fix anything? I even sent them screenshots of proof on the addresses and have NEVER had an issue prior to the one time using a gift card. I did try to make a few purchases after the gift card because I literally thought their app was having an issue so Im not sure if that also made them suspicious but I did not get any real answers.ULTA Beauty

I have sent 3 emails and chatted with representatives. Ive tried placing an order with ulta since Friday (4 days). First it showed that I needed to verify my cvv when I tried placing the order using my PayPal account. I was told to reach out to PayPal for help. I did and verified everything with them. I tried placing the order again and I received the same error. I tried using my PayPal debit card, and two other cards. All come back showing the same issue. I also tried deleting and redownloading the app, as well as using the Ulta website. Ive sent emails and no response. Hopefully I can get some sort of assistance by doing this because nothing else works. Bag ID **********ULTA Beauty
