      Canceled an extended warranty through the warranty manufacturer and was told to get with Kia of Bradley as they are responsible for making sure the returned money gets to the loan provider. Talked with manager ***************************** in August of 2023, we filed our paperwork and he claimed the money should take 4-6 weeks to return. After 3 months and me growing concerned I returned and talked with *********************** to which he informed me the paperwork was done currently but the warranty company (endurence) sent the check to the wrong address and theyre waiting for the replacement. Fast forward its been 6 months with not having my money returned which is costing me extra interest each month. All I want is for Kia of Bradley to get the check from endurance to the loan provider *** and stop giving me the run around. Over 6 months is unacceptable

      We take all consumer complaints very seriously, and would like to resolve this as quickly as possible. When ****************** canceled the service contract, ****************** contract, had the wrong address on file and we did not recieve the check after his cancellation. We have still been waiting on them to recut the refund check and send it to the correct address. We have attached the check that we have sent to *** to cancel the service contract and will handle our reimbursement seperate. We understand this has taken much longer than the standard time taken to have cancellation of a service contract applied to a loan and because of this we would like to offer ****************** an additional $100.00 for the inconvenience and interest incurred while waiting for the cancellation to be applied to the loan balance. We hope this resolves the issue and will keep ****************** a customer in the future. We have reached out to ****************** and have not been successful at connecting. Please have him contact us so he can decide if he would like to pick up the check or have us mail the $100.00 check.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. ******************** acted quickly to get the issue corrected and even offered me additional compensation over the original refund price.

      On 4/18/2023 I went into Kia of Bradley to purchase a vehicle, agreement was to be $1500 for my trade, $500 down, an no payments until June. Suddenly my trade was $1000, then i needed $1000 down - no biggie- whatever- idk how my interest was 24% with a 740 credit score, I'm 18 new at this, my mom specifically stated if $1000 was all for the trade she would buy the car and give me the money towards the down payment, but the issue at hand is I went back in on 4/24 advising the finance company is stating payment is due in May, they told me don't worry about it its not due until June 1st, I left in good faith believing them, I then got my account number for the portal on 5/12/23 seeing that i had a car payment due of ****** on 5/18. I text ***, the salesman, asked about payment being due on 6/2, and in my text *** replies, "We did and thats the day my general manager showed me was the exact day the payment was due, nonsense. Ill get to the bottom of it for ya." He then proceeded to call me and take back what he says and tells me pretty much too bad, I only signed my loan papers, according to these terms, when in all reality none of them were the right terms. I have rent and everything else, instead of a $500 down payment as originally stated that my mom put down, they had me agree to another $500 after my mom had left due to changing the amount of the trade - I just want the amount of the car payment, i feel they owe that as it was stated to me no car payment until June, i budget myself, i plan my finances, Already borrow for a down payment, and insurance increased, but to then have a car payment come before it's supposed to and for them to tell me - sorry too bad, was unacceptable, i work hard, and am proud of my credit and want to keep it that way and not have the dishonesty of all this, impact my credit history as it was not I who did this.

      The financing is based on the customers full credit profile not just the score. The bank makes the determination on terms of the financing not Kia of Bradley. At the time delivery her payment was to be 45 days from 4/18/23 and in error was contracted for 30 days, trying to save her around 4-5 dollars on her payment. We are sorry if we made *************** feel as though we wouldnt try to help her with this error. We will work with her to move her payment to right date. We will reach out to her and have her come to work out the payment date.

      I went into kia of bradley on July 6th 2022 to purchase a car. I found a car submitted everything they needed to them and put $500 on the car with my debit card. I agreed to pay the remaining down payment on July 22nd and July 29th through my husband's checking account. I signed the loan agreement that day and left with the car. On July 22nd I was called and told that I didn't get approved for the loan and that they wanted to try a different bank. I said no that I would bring the car back and get my trade in back and that I wanted my $500 back as well. When I got there they gave me my car back but not my money. I was told by the finance manager that they were going to keep my down payment to use for a different car for me. On July 29th they took $300 out of my husband's account for my down payment. He called and spoke with the finance manager and he said they would put the money back into his account and that if I wanted my money back I had to call in and speak with him. I called and was sent to his voicemail, I left a voicemail on July 29th and have not heard anything back from him. It doesn't say anything in the loan agreement where they can keep my money. And we would like our money back. I asked questions to the sales person in the 2 weeks I had the car and he brushed me off and said not to worry about it. I would like our money back and this company investigated.

      We are sorry for any inconvenience ***************** has experienced. The bank declined her application in their verification process, we did everything we could to keep the deal together. When she brought the vehicle back we were under the impression that she wanted us to apply the down payment to a future deal. We will refund the down payment, she will just have come in for a check. For the inconvenience we will get her a tank of gas.
