    I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the poor customer service I experienced with **********************, particularly at the *******, ******** location from ***, the manager. And the extensive effort it took to resolve a problem caused by their negligence. Although I have now been reimbursed for my expenses, the lack of follow-through and accountability throughout this process was unacceptable.Background In August 2024, I had an oil change at the ******* Take 5 location. During this service, the technician improperly tightened the bolts on my vehicles skid plate. When I returned on October 12, 2024, for another oil change, the technicians could not remove the skid plate due to overtightened and stripped bolts. This issue, caused by their negligence, forced me to visit multiple service centers before finally resolving the issue at Tuffy Auto Repair, where the skid plate had to be removed and replaced.Customer Service Failures The most frustrating aspect of this experience was the lack of accountability from Take 5s customer service team and management. Despite multiple assurances that my claim was escalated, I had to follow up repeatedly to achieve resolution.Missed *********** After filing my claim on October 14, 2024, I was told the ***************** or a manager would contact me within 57 business days. No one ever reached out as promised.Broken Promises: **************** agents Rashawn, ******* and ***** assured me my case was escalated, but I received no proactive communication.Time Wasted: Resolving this issue required repeated calls and significant effort on my part due to Take 5s negligence.Closing Thoughts While reimbursement was eventually provided, this process took far too long and highlighted systemic flaws in Take 5s customer service and claims handling. I hope this complaint prompts Take 5 to improve its processes and ensure no other customer has to endure such frustration to resolve a company-caused issue.
