This letter is in response to Mr ***** ******, after inspecting Mr ******* vehicle I determined that the damage to his front lower air spoiler was inconclusive but in good faith I issued a check dated 24 March 2025, number 5879 in the amount of $1167.10 to cover the damages.   I believe that this case has been settled.

    Respectfully

Horrible Service!!! I made a AAA roadside service request. *** from McCoys was the tow truck that was dispatched. My van needed to be towed from an inconvenient spot. They told me that AAA only pays $35 + gas and that my tow could cost more but would not give me an estimate. *** called a smaller truck out and towed my van out of the garage and told me that they considered it a recovery and I had to pay $600 or they would impound my vehicle. I asked him why a tow would be $600 just because they had to use a small truck and he threatened to impound my vehicle! Flat out extortion! His attitude was atrocious and I can't believe AAA does business with this company. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Don't use this company. They will take advantage if they can. Wouldn't even provide a receipt for service.

This letter is in response to the complaint placed against McCoy Services *** regarding a service not repair issue with Mc. ************ service on 2 October 2023 at 5:10am with service completed at 930am.

McCoys (AAA Contractor) was dispatched out to *********************************************** ******* (low clearance parking deck) with signage stating the ceiling heights to remove their Commercial 2010 **** Transit (not covered by a AAA membership she had) that her drivers had lodged/wedged in an attempt to obtain a parking spot.   The vehicle was wedged under a concrete beam 100 feet in a low clearance parking deck.  As stated my driver *** made his way to the call, upon getting there he spoke with the person  who had deflated all the tires in an attempt to extracate the vehicle.  ************************ was also not present.  He discussed with the driver that there would be an additional charge at which time he agreed there was not dollar amount assigned due to the extent of work needed to remove the vehicle from its current position.   Once a second truck arrived they began to winch the vehicle out once freed the discussion of dollars began.   As I was not present I can only go by my driver recall but there was no threat to ************** until a price would be paid.   They did not like the price that was given and then paid and began their argument of services rendered.  My driver also needed to change one tire and inflate the other three tires that they had deflated.  ************************ is flustrated with the situation that her drivers had placed her in and has decided that apparently this is our fault.  She had her charges of $600.00 refunded and AAA (following her complaint) has decided to pay her debt to us.  She is not out any money herself but has caused two drivers to lose money.   Once again this was not an ordinary winch service.    As McCoys prides themselves on offering the best possible service to our customers and members of motor clubs we cannot be responsible for the actions of their employees or people they have authorized to use their vehicles.   Once again I understand her flustration but it should not be directed at us McCoys but the driver of her vehicle.  Should you be interested in seeing the photos we can send them on a separate email.  Once again she has not incurred any expense on this service.

    Respectfully

    ****** McCoy

I used AAA for road side assistance and they sent out a technician named ***. *** tested my cars battery and said that I needed a new one. I was charged $170. I was never given a receipt. It was extremely cold and I was just thankful to get into my car and leave it had slipped my mind. Now 6 months later Im in need of a new battery once again but they said they have no record of my purchase. But they sent out the same technican out named *** and he even admitted that he remembered changing out my battery. I had explained to AAA and mccoy services that I had record of my purchase thru my bank statement, But they will not honor my request

On April 4, 2022, our neighbor hired McCoy's Services for towing assistance. The tow truck reversed into the right-of-way on our property and broke our wooden mailbox post off at the ground. McCoy's admitted their error and agreed to repair the mailbox post. They performed a temporary fix within a couple weeks, but the temporary solution is not within US Postal Service ****** standards. McCoy's promised to return and install the mailbox on a new post that meets **** standards. I have called repeatedly for updates on the progress of the repair and have been told that it will be performed "soon." We have been waiting for over four months. The owner/manager of McCoy's is no longer returning my calls or emails.
