  On January 18th at approximately 5:30pm "***** from Castro R. Construction came into my house and took my filter out of my furnace unscrewed and literally screwed the panel back on but did not do any work to fix my furnace. He literally did just that. He also took my own batteries and switched the batteries in the thermostat. Heade it look as though he did something. He told me my furnace will be heating once he leaves and that it will last for another year. He told my husband on the phone it was a free estimate but said now he fixed everything to send him $120 inside my house. I have zelled him the money to a ******** at **************. He said that's the number his money gets sent to not the one on his page. My furnace was never fixed by him he didn't do anything that would have even fixed the problem. For example if I open the door to a store but don't enter and say I went inside I never really went inside. That's what he did to my furnace took off the door but did no work. I contacted my bank and filed a claim they are currently looking into the situation. I found this company on a website called nextdoor a women named ************ told me they did furnace repair for her but found out she is part of there scam because she is the only one on the page promoting this business. This person has multiple numbers I have found ************** ************** ************** ************** and the **************. He told me he went to 24 other houses before he came to mine. I called the number I sent the money to and a women answered I asked to speak with ***** and she said what's it in regards to I told her my furnace wasn't fixed and she said oh I'll call you back. No one called back. Also this website has no address on it. I had to put one on here to file the complaint it's the savealot stores address.

  On January 15,**** Ms. ****** contacted me because her furnace was off and not working, I told her I would go in the evening. That same day in the evening I got there and took a look at her furnace it was off and not working like she said. Her furnace was old and in very bad condition due to the low maintenance she gave it. The filter was extremely dirty it seemed like they havent changed it in years. I told her I would charge her $120 for turning the furnace on and cleaning the sensors, she told me to turn it on for her that she will pay me the money through *****. I also told her if the furnace didnt turn off it might last her up to a year but if the furnace turned off she was going to need a new furnace. She told me okay. I started working and turned on her furnace I then showed her it was on and working she then sent me the money through zelle and I left. The next day January 16, **** she called me but I was working and couldnt answer her she then texted me from another number ************ she told me her furnace was not heating up and I told her she was going to need a new one that I was sorry, she got upset and texted me saying I was a scammer I then replied to her saying with all due respect Im not a scammer I left your furnace on and working but she never replied back. On the next door app where she hired me from she insulted me and my company she told people not to hire me that I was a scammer it was very sad to see she said all those negative comments because in all the years Ive had my company never have I received a negative comment or review from any client because Im an honest and responsible worker I always try to make my clients happy and please them with my best work performance

  I am rejecting this response because: I did not give you permission to start working on anything which you did not do any work. You took off the panel door and unscrewed it and put it back on then asked me for batteries to change my thermostat batteries. You said it should be good when you leave. Your website says FREE ESTIMATES and that was what you can for was to give a free estimate. To be completely honest I was scared when you asked for the money so I sent it. But have you not done anything to fix my furnace to heat up I should have kicked you out of my house. On nextdoor I was letting other people in my neighborhood know that I was scammed by you so that they won't have the same problem as I did with you. If you look on the nextdoor comments I am not the only person saying they were scammed by you. I should be *********** my money back because you did nothing. I told you that my furnace works but it's not heating up to the temperature I'm setting it to. You said nothing. I told you the light keeps blinking inside but I'm not sure what that means and asked you if you know you said nothing. I had a company come look at my furnace the next day and they also told me you did nothing at all.

  Im sorry but this a huge lie they are no complaints of me or my company. I did my job I left the furnace on and working and I believe I should not return you the money if the job was done. In Nextdoor their was no complaints of me there was even people defending me because they know Im a hard worker. I would never scam people like you claim I did because Im not like that. You authorized me to start working, I told you it was going to be $120 and you paid me after I was done. I know for sure you or any other person will not pay someone if according to you they do nothing to fix your problem.

   I would have no problem paying you if you actually did something. You lied to me and made it look as though you did something when you were here. When you were leaving after you got the money you spoke perfect English to me but when I asked you questions when you were here you ignored me. You acted like you couldn't understand English fully. If you knew that I needed a new furnace why would you clean sensors? That doesn't make sense. Also you did not even show me that you did anything to any sensors. You told me my furnace should last me one more year after you put the door back on but how can you even determine that? You did not put any diagnostic devices on or any camera to show me anything. You can't predict how long anyone's furnace is going to last with just a guess. Also you never spoke to me on the phone you spoke to my husband and told him it was a free estimate you set up the appointment with him not me. You came for an estimate never to work on anything it was supposed to be a free estimate and you never gave any estimate either. I should have never trusted your word when you said it was good before you left. You are a scam artist and this is what scammers do. Every person that I have looked into on nextdoor defending you only has post of your company. It's kinda weird how they only post your company but nothing about what's going on in the neighborhood or anything else. I too could have people go on nextdoor and say they were scammed by you like you have people lying saying you did work so your "company" looks legit. The company that came after you they actually fixed my furnace and asked me what sensors because it didnt look like anything was cleaned or touched and if you say the filters were so bad why did you not replace them with new ones? That's a lot of money with no new filters and cleaning sensors.

  I cleaned the sensors and turned on the flame for your furnace. If you thought it was expensive why would you pay me? Why didnt ask me not to do work and hired someone else? Im sorry Mrs. ****** but your the only one who doesnt make sense according to you I didnt work or fixed your problem but you paid me, and if i supposedly spoke to your husband why are you making the complaint and not him? I drove over an hour to get to your house I was very busy that day but managed to do some time for you because your furnace was off, I worked for you and you turned on your furnace I charged you $120 if you thought that was a lot you can ask any professional what I charged you was not expansive at all! I have drove hours from my house and never have  charge for an estimate the only reason I charged you was because I actually worked and you know well I did, you just probably wanted the work done for free!
