I contacted GrubHub of an authorized transaction on my account due to someone hacking my account and they essentially didn't try to help with refunding my charges. It also didn't help that I did not know how my yelp and GrubHub account was linked or how my payments were transferred there. I paid approximately $50 for an order. The order was delivered and was someone elses. I contacted Grub Hub via phone and chat and they refused to give me a credit or refund. They said I have received too many credits or refunds in the past. That makes no sense to me because the only way that happened is because they messed up the order so why should I be penalized for this. I placed a $50 order and someone elses order showed up I should receive a refund. This is their fault and bad service. Grubhub has repeatedly breached it's own policies by failing to deliver orders, delivering sometimes 2 or 3 hours late, delivering uncooked foods etc. I was even assaulted by one of their drivers and Grubhub refused to cooperate with law enforcement, they pretended to issue a credit "for the inconvenience" then they blocked me from placing further orders supposedly because i requested too many refunds for missing orders. Fine. You want to block me, i'll use another delivery service, not a big deal. However, continuing to harass and spam me with thousands of emails a week, text messages, and phone notifications offering coupons I can't use has to stop! Also, Grubhub has refused to actually close my accounts and delete my information (presumably so they may continue to taunt and harass me). I've had enough, i want to be left alone!Business Response

I just found that there have been monthly charges of $10/month for Grubhub+ for many months. I never signed up for Grubhub+, and notified them to get a refund. They started by saying I must have signed up for a free trial of Grubhub+ which I did NOT do. While they didn't argue this, they still refuse to refund me for these hundreds of dollars they have scammed me out of. They claim they are unable to refund fees more than 30 days old, which of course is ridiculous they can refund what they deem worthy of refunding. This is such a scam, and looking into it now I see many others on Reddit and other forums who have encountered the same. On march 15, 2025 I ordered *** from Grubhub. For one, it took a very long time for them to even assign a driver to my order and when I tried to cancel it said I couldnt because the merchant already began making my food. I dont understand why I couldnt have canceled it when a driver wasnt even assigned yet. So eventually a driver was assigned to my order and whenever my order got delivered , I received it and I opened my food to see that my food was hard, stale, cold, and wasnt edible at all. Waited a long time for my food to arrive just for me not to even be able to eat it. I went to the help section in the app to make a report about my food and they told me they couldnt reimburse me. I dont know why they werent willing to reimburse me. I would like my money back. This is ridiculous. I couldnt even enjoy my food. Then the drink was watered down. Never ordering from there again. I made a delivery order on Grubhub for this evening. I got a call from the restaurant telling me that they had already closed and they could not fulfill the order. They said they had sent Grubhub their hours but the company did not update their website. They told me to call grubhub to get a refund. I chatted with Grubhub and the person told me they issued a credit on Grubhub. I told them that this was their error and that I wanted a refund instead of a credit. They kept saying they could not do it. I escalated my complaint to a supervisor who told me that I was correct and that the restaurant could not fulfill my order and that I was correct that I requested a refund and not a credit but they said the credit was already issued and they refused to fix it. They have the worst customer service and should be shut down. What they did was basically stealing. I would never use them again.Business Response
