On 5/23/22, *********************** from V Development Group did a site visit for an initial consultation for a washer/dryer hookup in a condo. During the consultation he determined the scope of the work, and agreed to put together an a quote for the cost of the work. He requested that I email him any plans as provided by the *** for him to get a better sense of what the project would cost. On 6/15/22 a contract was signed with the intention of ***** submitting all the necessary paperwork to the *** that same week because the Board was would not meet again until 8/15/22. At this point, the contract signed was not fully executed as ***** had not signed or dated it himself. On 6/20/22, ***** requested a site visit to draw out the plans and a 50% deposit per the contract. I was out of town and unavailable. That evening, on the phone we agreed that we would push the submission to the next meeting in August. I agreed to contact him 2 weeks prior to the meeting and that the deposit would be submitted then.On 8/1/22, I texted ***** about the 8/15 meeting. We agreed that he would come out the week before and he said it was enough time for him. He later texted saying he'd rather meet during the first week of August to insure enough time.8/3/22 I asked if the board denied the request, what would happen to the deposit, he said he would return it. 8/4/22 he picked up the $1,750 deposit, and said his men would come to the site 8/5 or 8/6. He came 8/8. 8/10 he was working on putting together the documents, when on 8/11 he said he didn't have enough time and the scope of the work had changed to include electrical work, adding $4,000+ to the cost. That was out of budget and the contract was terminated. 8/11 ***** said he would return the deposit via Zelle and that he put in the request 8/11 and a confirmation would be emailed to me.Now, ***** has stopped responding to me, I have not gotten a confirmation or deposit back.
