Sep 13, 2024, 1:23PM , I placed an order with At Home store and so far 6 days later nothing has happened with my order. I wrote to them about 4 days ago and got a generic response from a computer and it said it would be looked into but nothing, You call the corporate and all you get is a computerized message that says contact them via website and then it hangs up on you. When I placed a $207. order and it says it is available you would think it would get processed immediately. then i was in the local store and find out from a manager that this trend with the corporate office putting stuff online that is not even in yet and then they get customers complaining because they have no choice but to cancel orders. Last time I worked in Federal law it was illegal to present something to sell if you don't have it so why are they able to get away with this, I would have never ordered from this company had I know prior that they basically fraud what they have and don't have and for crying out loud do not give me that new saying that they are short staffed ever since COVID. It has almost been 5 years stop using that lame excuse and pay a decent wage and get more staff, If my husband can keep employees for the past 4 years with not excuses then why can't others. pay them a decent wage and make the company work.

On 02-21-2024 I called help at home to get a copy of my W-2 but the receptionist told me to go online. I stated I haven't worked there in a year and so she transferred me to the manager who I have been calling for 2 hours but she doesn't respond to voicemails or speak with an employee when we ask to talk to her even though she tends to stand right next to the person who is on the other line with me. The receptionist after calling back and I ask can I speak with **************** again then tells me that I have to email payroll and wants to hang up. I told her I don't know this information and that's why i'm calling them. She then goes on a debate to prove that she's in charge by further asking me more aggressive questions that I have already answered and when I responded, "Well if that's what I need can I have it". She responded, "Okay be good" and hung up the phone. I have been calling back and she immediately hangs up the phone, sometimes answering the call but not speaking and then hangs up the call. I worked there from January 2023- March 2023 but quit because the supervisor told me that I wasn't at work when indeed I was, repeatedly called me a little girl and didn't pay for for the hours I worked. At that time I repeatedly asked to speak with *************** and the supervisor kept repeating "she's standing right next to me baby". **************** allowed her employee to disrespect me for several minutes while standing in the room listening to me ask can I speak with her, she has never called me back or answered my calls and she was and is still a horrible manager who should not be in that position along with some of her best friend employees. I can not get my w-2's and file my taxes because workers who need to be evaluated are in charge, and when i asked for a corporate number I was given a disconnected 773 area code cell phone number. I was told my pay would be $15.50 an hour by the HR, but upon my first day the supervisor said I don't know why you were told that and only paid me $15.45 an hour but everyone I trained with received $15.50.
