I've been corresponding with *************************** about my car for more than a month. I was informed at the outset of everything that my car damage and my rental car would both be covered because this company had accepted responsibility for the collision. My rental will not be insured, I'm now being told, due to some absurd "policy limit" that this firm or allegedly the ******************* has. I have attached proof of her unprofessional behavior as my adjuster. I was given ****** for damages on a 2018 RAV4. The damages were terrible. They based off that estimate from pictures and videos instead of sending someone out to actually check on the car. Myself and my father were both lied to about the process of my car being repaired and my rental being reimbursed. I was told in the beginning I would be getting 100% reimbursed for my rental and ***********************, decided halfway through the process of me having my rental, I won't be getting my money back and I will need to contact my insurance for the money. How exactly does that work??? I am not understanding at all how... After ******** (which is what I owed) down the drain with the installment of my repairs, I all of a sudden need to contact MY insurance? After KEMPER calmed responsibility? The math is not mathing AT ALL. I have contacted ******'s manager, and of course, that got me nowhere. My next step is to file a lawsuit because I am now out of $******** because ****** wanted to do the unjust thing and LIE about everything. OH I completely forgot to mention, she also lied about the body shop requesting an appraiser to come out to approve the chargers but when I went to the body shop to confirm that, the body shop, absolutely not -- we are waiting ON THEM for approval and to send someone out. So here she go again, changing the story to save her own behind. I also want to point out, She has TERRIBLE customer service and should not be employed after the way she treated me. I am rejecting this response because: there has not been any penalty towards the adjuster *************************** for her ignorance and rude behavior and lies that she had told me over a course of a month. Also, I do not appreicate a copy and paste answer as well. I will say this, ******'s manager ******************************* has been helpful when it comes to answering emails as soon as I send them to him. We would not be in this position if we were told about the policy limit in the beginning. Either way, I had to fight my own insurance to only get $900 out of the ******** that is owed to me because of ****** and Kemper's incompetence throughout this whole investigation. Saying you would 100% reimburse to going, oh there's only $32 left is unbelievable. Other than that, I was given my money, NOT BY KEMPER but my insurance. All I know is, my insurance will now be fighting Kemper to get their money back.Good luck with that. I do not wish this on my worst enemy and I hope you guys do much better with whoever gets hit by your insurer. so this BBB complaint can be closed as i do not want to be bothered with this company again. I was in a car accident on August 24, 2022. Kemper Insurance is***d me a total loss check on September 24 2022 with an amount of $6,746.49. I tried to deposit the check and due to it being a large amount the bank needed confirmation. I have been calling Kemper insurance for months now regarding my check because now my bank account is closed out. The claims person ******************* is not answering or returning any phone calls or emails. I was then transferred to their supervisor and left plenty of messages, and again they didnt return any phone calls. At this point Im looking to *** the company for negligence. My bank account is closed out and Im out of money that I thought I had. If I can to avoid any trouble Id like to speak with someone higher than the claims department supervisor.Business Response

My truck was hit in a parking lot by a client of Kemper Auto Insurance. I took pictures and a video of the damages via the Kemper Auto app. The insurance adjuster called and left a voicemail stating that the damages were estimated at $1480 which they sent me within a week. However, local body shops estimated the damages to cost $5,000 to repair and I quoted parts to fix it myself that were still higher than $1480. This is my business truck and they stated that the insured drivers policy covers two days of a car rental. These auto shops all estimated repairs to take two weeks. As far as I am concerned, this situation is 100% the insured parties fault and Kemper Auto Insurance is liable for the full cost of these damages. To send me a check without even sending out an adjuster or talking to me first is extremely unprofessional and a dishonest business practice. I cannot afford to rent a truck for the extra 12 days or more that it may take, nor can I afford to come out of pocket for the difference to repair the truck. I would like for Kemper Auto Insurance to pay the difference of $3520 and I will deal with these repairs on my own as it is impossible to get a truck from a local rental company and I need a truck for work.Business Response

Kemper was the insurer when their insured was at fault for an accident that occurred on 3/29/22 where my car was T boned and determined to be a total loss. I suffered shoulder and arm injuries that prevented me from working and caused pain and suffering in my personal life as well.I was unable to perform household chores and unable to care for my small children. My familys quality of life suffered tremendously as the result of the accident.Kemper is offering to pay me only a small fraction of my loss of income, and a small inconvenience fee which is absurd considering the disruption and pain and suffering I experienced.They have a dismissive attitude towards my grief and suffering caused by their insured , and is belittling my loss.The compensation offered is unfair and unjust.Business Response

I have an insurance policy that I am attempting to cash in because I have a policy with another company. I filled out a cash surrender form and attached it to the policy and mailed it to them. A week later they sent me another cash surrender form, so I called them to clear up the confusion, and they told me that they had received my forms and policy and the process was moving smoothly in the right department. They said they were just waiting for the approval of the district manager. I called back a week later and were told the same thing. I asked "were he on vacation?" I were told that the process would probably take about seven to ten more days and I should wait and call back after then. That next week I received a check in the mail from Kemper. Thinking it was my check I opened it and discovered it was writtened for 68 cents. I called them and they said that check was for my premium refund. I then inquired about my cash surrender check and were told that they mailed the 68 cent check out on a Tuesday and the two thousand dollar check the next day. I waited seven days and no check. I called them about it , and were told to keep waiting and if it don't come by the end of Febuary I can call them and the will write another one. I feel they sent the 68 cent check to taunt me, and don't intend to send me my cash surrender. This is so unprofessional and wrong. I paid those premiums faithfully and now I find out that I'm dealing with a bunch if charlatans. Have anyone else complained about them?Business Response

My name is ***************************. The date of the initial accident was November 18th, 2022 where a driver who had Kemper as their insurer hit into my truck. We exchanged information and I got in contact with an insurance adjuster from Kemper, ***************************. Despite a couple miscommunications, ******* and I went through the process of getting my estimate and all seemed fine. By this point, we had been in correspondence for multiple weeks. When I received my settlement check, it had my last name misspelled on it. Instead of ***************************, it said *********************. Noticing this, I reached out to ******* on the 29th of December to which she responded, acknowledging the issue. Seeing that I hadnt heard from her an around two weeks, I decided to reach out again for an update. This was on January 12th, where she informed me that my check was being processed. Since then, she has failed to give me an update regarding the status of my check despite multiple attempts at contacting her. I feel that I have been brushed off by her and that my concerns are not being acknowledged by her or the Kemper Insurance Company.Business Response

I was in a car accident on the date of 12/11/22. I filed a claim and it was initially being worked on and it has been almost 2 months and the claim is not resolved. The last time I heard from my adjustor, *********************************, was on 12/19. Since then the claim got moved to a different department and assigned to *******************************. I have tried calling her numerous times and have not heard from her since or had a response. I have left multiple voicemails and spoken to call center workers that say she will return my call later but I never hear back. I have since been avoided and not helped and todays date is 2/8/23. This claim is causing great financial stress from having to pay for my vehicle that is a total loss. On January 6, 2023 my truck was parked at Auto Zone. I was in the store when a vehicle crashed into my truck pushing it forward across the concrete parking bumper and into a round concrete bollard. This crash caused damage to my truck. l and the other person whose vehicle was responsible for the crash has the same insurance company. I filed for repairs on their insurance which is Kemper and the policy underwriter is Infinity Auto Insurance Company. This is one of the worst companies that profess to be an insurance company. **************** is terrible, its a very negative experience trying to work with them with very little communication. I have only spoken to the adjuster one time. No one from the company ever came out and looked at my truck to evaluate the damage. They only ask that l take some pictures through a photo app and submit them to them, l was given the name of 2 auto repair shops. I went to the one recommended but they were unable to do an estimate and said to come back another day. I took my truck to 2 other auto repair shops and both said l have over $5;000.00 in damage and l have copies of the report. I have now taken it to the 2 repair shops that they recommended and was told they would contact Infinity with their findings. I have been calling the adjuster and her supervisor and they will not answer, or return my calls. Then they sent me a letter saying they have completed their investigation and the damage estimate of $ 1, ****** and sent a check which had to have been determined by photos ONLY because they never ask for the written estimates that l got and this was before l took my truck to the places they recommended, so l dont know how they came up with that estimate based solely on the pictures l sent in. Pictures at the seen of the accident never requested . A recommended place for estimates and repairs, said they are waiting to hear from Infinity. I was told l had to contact my adjuster before repairs are done, but cant reach her.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have not been able to get my truck in for repairs. On February 15, 2023, I was contacted by a representative of the company prior to receiving the response. We discussed a rental which I was told I would have to pay for and get reimbursed which I don't think I should have to pay for, and also getting the truck in for the repairs. On Monday February 20, 2023, I contacted Crash Champions Collision Repair which is one of the recommended places that I was told to takes it to for a damage estimate. This is the place I choose for the repairs. When I called I wanted to see when I could bring my truck in, was told tnat they were waiting for an assignment from Infinity Insurance. On Tuesday the 21st, and today, Wednesday the 22nd 2023, I have been calling the adjuster as well as the supervisor and leaving messages , but getting no return calls regarding this assignment. We called Crash Champion today and was told that they have been calling the insurance company for the past 1 1/2 days and have not been able to reach them. They also told us that they left a very detailed message for the adjuster regarding what they needed but have not heard back. This has been a very frustrating experience dealing with this company. The response letter with their explanation of the long waiting period made it seemed as if they care, but it doesn't appear that way to me.

2008 **** Focus involved in a car accident, Feb 3, **** (police report #************). Other driver at fault for accident. Called their insurance company (Kemper Infinity) ************** to file claim, provided w/ #***********. Adjuster (*****************************) called to advise, the insured driver (**** *****) allowed (********) to drive car, therefore theres a coverage clearance issue that need to be resolved first before moving forward with processing the claim. They will not uphold to pay claim, if (****) the insured driver was not driving behind the wheel at time of accident; claiming no fault of the insurer. Regardless, of who was driving the car at the time of the accident, it doesnt negate the fact, an accident happened at fault of the party insured under Kempers insurance. They are haggling the situation, instead of swiftly moving forward to process the claim. Also, they have a poor rating of paying out insurance claims. The car is confirmed total, therefore leaving the no-fault party to be delayed without transportation and/or incur expenses and/or go through legal ramifications to further resolve issue.Business Response
