A Kemper auto insurance client was at fault (Kemper accepted responsibility) for an automobile accident on July 5th 2022. It was agreed at that time that Kemper would reimburse me for car rental cost. It took almost two months to repair my vehicle. My vehicle rental cost was $2996.15 dollars. I returned the rental vehicle October 31st 2022 and since (today is Jan 11, 2023) been trying attempting to find out why I havent been reimbursed. Phone call after phone call, email after email have been unanswered. This has been going on for far too long! How does this company stay in business?Business Response

I was in a auto accident and have been trying to get my case settled ....I have provided all documents to them and the fail to communicate. I am rejecting this response because: I have provide several people all.information requested this company sends letters about others involved that I have no information about. They don't respond to emails or phone calls ....I have been through several people and signed all documents to be sent to them ....*********************** was assigned to my case then left the company the guy that took over stated he received the information so I am confused. I have provided everything they have requested and gave emails that acknowledge this . also it seems that this type of deflection is a common practice for the company ....why haven't they provided a contact number that works I have sent several emails and made several calls please provide a contact person as opposed to sending auto responses

My brother-in-law died in January **** and my family located an insurance policy that the Department of Insurance stated was assumed by Kemper Corporation. I contacted Kemper and was asked to send a copy of the policy into research which I did in November. I have followed up FOUR times and nobody has responded to my inquiries.Business Response

CLAIM # *********** - DATE OF LOSS 09-19-2022 I have filed a claim with my commercial insurance company "Kemper" At the time of getting the vehicle fix i was told that the claim will be process without an issue and i would get cover for the full amount of the total cost for the damage. The catalytic converter was stolen and parts and since this was a company vehicle i could not wait any longer so i submitted the vehicle for repairs and I was told to provide receipt for the repairs I paid for reimbursement. The company vehicle was brand new off the ****** Dealership valued at $21,499.00 upon filing this claim I was told I would receive full reimbursement. Somehow along the way the agent changed the statement and said i told them i only want to be covered for *****% or $6000.00 which is unheard of. The dealership would not have allowed me to take this vehicle without being fully covered and I have never heard of anyone deciding how much should a new vehicle be covered for much less than the actual cost. I did not ask Kemper to only cover *****% they have changed the statements to refused full refund for the amount shown on the invoice i provided. They are telling me now that I would only receive a check for $1301.32 which is the only refund I received as of today. I refused to cash this check and have been asking them for weeks or 15 plus emails to correct their system and provide correct amounts. They are telling me they will not give me any more than that amount. Not only did i keep losing money for the vehicle being out of service and time spending trying to get them to provide the correct amount but this is defamation of character calling me and my business fraudulent and liars. I advise them today that i would give them until next Friday to provide this refund and that I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and ********** department of Insurance.Business Response

On Dec 2nd 2022, my vehicle was rear-ended by a hit and run driver. It was a total loss. I filled a claim the same day. According to my insurance policy I do have *** $1200 can rental reimbursement. Kemper insurance According to adjuster is not willing to reimburse $1200. According to adjuster I can get car rental *** $40 per day and I will only get reimbursed for 15 days. $1200 $40 = 30 days of rental.I've been driving a rental car since the fday of the accident today Jan 06 2023.I also was told by the adjuster that a total loss check in the of $5,134.09 was mailed out to my home on the 12th of December 2022. I never got that check.I've called ( ******************* *******) the adjusters supervisor several times but she never got back to me. I've asked for a tracking number to verify the mailing of the payment and I never got an answer. Still waiting for ******** to contact me to this day.Business Response

A driver covered by Kemper Insurance rear ended on my way home for Christmas on December 23 2022. I have had the reminder of it parked in my driveway with 0 contact back from KemperAuto Adjuster. I am rejecting this response because: I have not had any contact from the adjuster. I received a letter indicating they are investigating the matter. I have had to go rent a car myself and in my communications 'my calls and my emails to them have explained that. I really do not want to be writing all this given how frustrated I am with this whole process.I just need to know where I can have my car repaired I contacted customer service and was told they would ********************** me to a supervisor but instead was hung up on. I don't know what else to do.

I was rear-ended, I called my insurance company (Infinity Auto Insurance aka Kemper & opened a claim, claim#***********. I took my damaged vehicle to one of their auto body shops they approved of & that they recommended to me. The estimate was done & my insurance company approved the claim & the auto body shop started on my vehicle. The auto-body shop called me on Dec 16th saying the work was completed & my car is ready to be picked up, the only thing is they cant release my vehicle til the payment from my insurance company has been confirmed. It has been over a week, with phone messages being left with my adjuster ******************************* *************************** from myself & the auto-shop with no response. i have paid my auto insurance payment on time every month for over 10years, the one time i need them they are no where to be found. please help.Business Response

DATE OF TRANSACTION:I found out in December 2022, when updating my financials, that I had collections notice against me from Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation).AMOUNT IN DISPUTE:$88.00 was charged by Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation).WHAT THE BUSINESS COMMITTED TO PROVIDE:I used Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation) for auto insurance and paid them timely. Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation) increased the rate of my policy in ***** 2022. I paid my policy for ***** and May 2022 and cancelled my policy with Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation). I selected a new auto insurance company of which my new policy began 6/2022. NATURE OF DISPUTE:I recently found out from Credit Karma that I had been reported to collections for $88.00 by Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation). I contacted the business to discuss the matter. The customer service representative confirmed that the auto insurance policy was cancelled and that no Auto-Pay was set up on the account for them to charge a renewal policy fee. I requested to escalate the matter to a supervisor or manager although the representative told me that Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation) is unable to assist me any further and forwarded me to the collections agency. RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM:Infinity Auto (Kemper Corporation) transferred my call to the collections agency, and I was told to pay the money. The company did not attempt to resolve the issue or find the source of the problem. This error is affecting my credit score negatively and I wish to have this resolved immediately. Car insurance claim with Kemper for a vehicle that was there clients fault ha yet to be resolved almost a year after treatment has ended. My adjuster ignores my attorneys calls and messages, she is very rude and unhelpful with getting this claim closed. I am beyond frustrated.
