    On January 29, 2024, I was scheduled for a taste test named, "Chiffon," at P&K Market Research for February 16, 2024 at 4:30pm (proof attached). I received a reminder email on February 15, 2024 as well as a text reminder also telling me that "No-showing to this appt may result in a 6-month suspension from participation. (proof attached)" Today, on January 16, 2024 at 11:58am I received an email and text telling me that I was cancelled. I then attempted to call in and received voicemail boxes and no help. I then received a text message saying, "Hello, again we do apologize for any inconvenience. Testers are informed and agree to our cancellation policy before agreeing to participate in our studies. Our clients do not offer compensation for cancellations.(proof attached)." I continued to text and received a message: "Hi *****, again I apologize for the inconvenience. I understand how a study cancellation would be frustrating for our testers. At this time, your appointment has been cancelled and we have notified you within an appropriate amount of time. Feel free to check our website for future survey opportunities. ******** Services Manager. (proof attached)" I then logged in my account, and my account had been closed and called in and this was confirmed. So, it's clear P&K Research creates this culture of fear where they will suspend you for 6 months if you don't show up for an appointment, but when they cancel with not only less than 24 hours, but within less than 5 hours, there is zero compensation, zero phone calls, zero explanation, zero return calls, and retaliation by ending my participation for saying something. They also deem it "appropriate" to cancel on someone within this timeframe. For this highly unprofessional, unfair, unethical, and the inconvenience this created for me after clearing my schedule to be there only to be cancelled on, I demand the $50 this study paid as well as reinstatement to my participation at P&K Research, and an apology.

    I am rejecting this response because:  this response is 4 months after my initial.complaint and doesn't in anyway address the issues I raised.  I still have not received the $50, I still have not received an apology, and I still have not been reinstated as a participant at their company.
