I was in contact with ************************* the mortgage lender, he provided me with an approval letter with the closing conditions for the property I purchased, which I was able to fulfill on my own without cosigner. July 1st the approval letter was sent to me and my realtor with only my name and conditions .I asked ***************** can we close by the 15th of July end of July 21 days of signing, July 13th I paid for appraisal for the home and had inspection before then, at this time I'm the only one on contract. July 7th He called me badgering me stating why he was chosen to be the 3rd person to come to to get a loan for the home!!! Then he called me realtor and chewed her out also about it, we were feeling terrible about dealing with him.Also he kept losing my paper work up I had to resend it in and kept getting my income information mixed up, next thing I know he calls and text on the July 21st saying he needs to ask my wife to contract we were very upset about the situation, if we had known earlier in the case we could've chosen a home in my budget just for myself, caused lots of issues in marriage now. He refused to put my ethnicity on application I felt I was discriminated against. My contract needs to be revised I'm paying more than I should for my mortgage. Very bad experience for me and my wife. Pray no one else has to go through this hassleRate

5 stars******* helped us with refinancing a home, then again with purchasing a new home in two different states. Those were two very different market environments and each time she thoroughly explained our options and we were comfortable and confident in the rates she secured for us. Beyond just the rates, she is incredibly timely, very well versed in VA loan idiosyncrasies, and strategic in her approach. I was in contact with *********************, the branch manager, about getting a mortgage loan. He provided me with a pre-approval letter during the phase I was looking for a new home. Once I found a home, I asked him about interest rates and also informed him that I was checking with a few other lenders to get the best rate. I decided to go with another lended to get a lower interest rate. A week before my closing, *** checked in to see if I found a home yet, so I let him know I selected another lender.He emailed me back and said "I had your loan ready to close why would you go to another lender? Especially after the time I put in on this one?" I was very frustrated how unprofessional a branch manager was to me. I did NOT have a contract with him or disclose any info about the home I was buying for him to have a loan ready to close. As a buyer, I have the right to check with a few lenders to get the best interest rate and should not be guilted for using his time. If you are looking for a mortgage lender, stay away from guranteed rate. They are unprofessional.Rate

5 starsI just recently closed on my first house. Guaranteed Rate was excellent, and my loan representative, *************************, was incredibly helpful. He knew every step of the process like the back of his hand, and I could tell he really cared about his clients. I don't give them ANY stars, if I could I would give a million negative stars. They decided when to set up my property taxes that was incorrect, caused my escrow to appear underfunded, my first property tax payment to be late and late fees - which I made THEM pay - and have lied to me on multiple occasions. As of this writing, 12/30/22, they are still giving my the run around and my issue is still not resolved!I am a first time home owner and they have made the experience absolutely AWFUL!!!DO NOT USE THEM THE ARE AWFUL, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!Rate

It was the worst experience I've ever had with a lender. my last 2 lenders were amazing! *** and ***** are rude and unprofessional to young folks like us. They speak like we know mortgage lingo and when you ask for clarification, they talk down to you. Now I held back and debated about writing this review but decided others needed to know. I received spam from them a few weeks ago and kindly asked for them to remove me from their list as I didnt have a good experience. *** then responds saying how I was a terrible client, he wished he never helped us etc, you know what ***, I should have walked away and used your competitor HomeBridge, my neighbors all love their lender and had no issues. We didnt have a good time with them, I tell everyone to stay far away. We went all the way far as signing of the closing disclosure the next day they told me, closing was delayed multiple times, funds missing and or added last minute, sat at the closing table for SIX HOURS! Unread emails, calls and texts. Everyone that worked with ***, like Underwriters, document processors were all fantastic! Our entire experience was a nightmare & every month I pay money to GR and I regret using them and hate giving them my money, thanks for selling my loan to someone else so I dont have to deal with you.Rate
