The booking agent, ******* was helpful in answering my questions, knowledgeable about the chosen route, and best yet, quick to respond to my followup emails while waiting for final confirmation to be posted. Pleasant and professional and tended to details.

  Just Booked a Canada Coast To Coast Tour and can't wait! Our booking agent, ************************* was wonderful, pleasant and very helpful! Answered all of our questions. This is our first trip with Vacations by Rail and are looking forward to our trip.

  Our group recently booked an ****** tour to ********************* for the summer of ****, and although the trip hasn't happened yet, I had to take a moment to commend our primary booking agent *******. ******* provided patience and EXCELLENT customer service through many questions and changes. She responded almost immediately to every request or question we had, and assisted us to the end. We would also like to thank **** who helped sort and process the final booking for us; again, excellent customer service. Thank you to *******, **** and ******.

  We were placed in a group of 25 when we specifically signed up with a group of 15; we were thrown in a group which had started their tour earlier in *******; the hotels were much lower class than we had been informed (felt like a bait and switch) especially in ******** which was very small, dated, ***** hotel and did not feel as though we were in a safe area; group restaurant food in Rome was terrible; we road lower class on trains when it had been indicated that we'd have upper class; we did not get to go in places like colleseum in **** or ************* in **** after receiving information indicating we would be touring these places. We literally just stood outside after being informed the tour would provide tickets to places. We could have at least been informed in advance so we could get self tickets and determine the additional expense; the breakfasts were poor and a large number of group members ended up sick for days following the breakfast experience in **** hotel; the one representative in **** kept using profanity at *********** and kept telling us we were too late to see things like the cathedral and chapel. This company is selling something that they are not delivering.

  ******* has been a stalwart throughout my months of planning our holiday. Efficient and professional yet friendly, her prompt responses to my many requests and and even more queries were very reassuring. Nothing seemed to be too much of an ask. I can now sit back and wait eagerly to get on those trains!
