HORRIBLE **************** and billing. They commit insurance fraud with how they process claims. They prey on college students and overcharge for visits and then it takes 6 phone calls totaling over 10 hours and still out fully resolved. I dont understand how they can be in business

Last year I followed bad advice and went to Wellnow urgent care. The very abrupt nurse practitioner called in a med to my my pharmacy I'm allergic to. This after he **nfirmed I was allergic to it, and we discussed what happened when I took it (head to toe rash). Then I started getting bills for the "service". They never submitted to my health insurance. For several months I'd receive a bill, call/email Wellnow saying submit to my health insurance, and each time the new person would say oh our bad I'll take care of it. Of **urse they never did. Finally, after many months of this, they submitted, and I paid the ** pay. Then the threatening calls started from some **llection agency. Since I owed no one, I would hang up. Today I received a letter in the mail from ******* Financial, an abetter in this fraud, demanding 175$. First they nearly killed me, then they tried to steal money from me, and now they sic their predatory **llection agency to ruin my credit.WellNow Urgent Care

This company has went from charging $30 to $200 as well as charging insurance in a weeks time. They are double charging the customer and the customers insurance company. For $200 you can see a nurse practitioner over the computer on their Teladoc.WellNow Urgent Care

Horrible customer service and billing. Was seen in 05/2023 received a bill in 10/23 and they did not submit to insuramce. They said they were going to reprocess when I called and then received a collection notice in 2/23. Spoke to their billing department and they said they could not help. They sent off to collections prior to the 30 day notice provided and when asked them why can I pay bill online they said system must not be updated. They said they sent 6 statements but their portal shows only the 2 statements I received. They never sent claim to insurance for processing. I tried to speak to manager and was told that no one was available to talk to me. I am very upset by my experience.WellNow Urgent Care

I am a provider myself. I recently visited the harlem location in Amherst and was turned down around 5:30, even though they close at 8. I was told they were no longer taking walk ins because of the wait time. I only saw about three people in the waiting room. I was desperately looking for help because I have been having abdominal pain and was instructed by my doctor to visit urgent care. I dont understand how a well now stops taking walk ins at 5:30 when they close at 8. The staff seemed to be doing more talking than trying to see patients. I was very disappointed as I always come to that location when I have medical issues. As a provider I cant believe the experience I had here, as I got into healthcare because I care about patients. I dont understand how turning them away is caring for patients.WellNow Urgent Care

This place is terrible and worse than the *** Rude doctors. Delete information from computers and tell you theres nothing they can do. Takes hours to be seen because of no staff and the staff thats there knows barely anything outside of a few. **** recommend wont return. And they lost my labs and *** been trying to get information on them for 2 months with no aid. Absolutely terrible and they need to go out of businessWellNow Urgent Care

I would give zero stars if possible. My daughter went to WellNow in OFallon, ** in July and Aug of 2023. I then get a bill for $465 in February ****, first one mind you, to pay immediately. I knew something had to be wrong, because we have insurance and it shouldnt be this high of a bill for what was done. When I called WellNow, I was informed they couldnt look at the account because it was turned over to collections. REALLY??!! I then was transferred to the collection agency, they couldnt see the account yet and told me to call back in a week. I then reached out to our primary and secondary insurance companies. That is when I discovered that WellNow NEVER EVEN BILLED OUR INSURANCE COMPANIES!! They just sent it straight to collections! I called the number on the WellNow invoice to question this and asked to speak with a supervisor. The first time I called, the supervisor was unavailable. Waited a week and called again; I was then told the supervisor cant comment on this account because its with collections and I need to talk with the supervisor at the collection agency. WHAT?! Why would I do that when WellNow was the agency at fault??!! The amount of time I have spent to correct THEIR MISTAKE has been insane. Im now working with the collection agency to have them properly file with the insurance companies. Please BBB look into this clinic. For anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and dont use their services.WellNow Urgent Care

Went there on December 21 for a Covid test. The girl at the desk said it would be $117. I told her my copay was only $40, and she said it was because of my deductible. I called my insurance company when I got home and was told I only owed $40. They called Wellnow and they said they would send me a check. Well, here it is February 16, still NO CHECK! Called several times only to get the runaround.WellNow Urgent Care

The way my 5 year old daughter and I were treated at this place, I cant believe theyre allowed to be in business. *****, the dr on site prescribed my daughter pills to take as she tested positive for influenza B. When calling and asking for it to be switched I was told I was being confrontational and Dr ***** want to speak with me. This dr ***** was more concerned on her name change vs her patients the whole 2 hours we were there. She made it very known she got married but last name wasnt changed. She was more worried about telling me about herself than addressing my daughter who was beyond ill. The way ***** worked with my daughter I dont think she should work with kids. I hope no parent has to endure what I did and no child treated this way when there extremely ill.WellNow Urgent Care

Now means wait over 3 hours to be seen it would be faster to go to the emergency room. My friend was taken back to a room over an hour ago after waiting 2 hours in the waiting room and still has not been seen.WellNow Urgent Care
