Hello. My daughter was assisting swimming classes at Foss Swim School. The last time she was enrolled was from 8/2021 to 11/2021. She was initially enrolled to attend class once a week for a total of about 3 months but the school changed that to a summer camp of 4 weeks. I had already paid for the original sessions but because it was changed by them, the amount charged as less than the amount I had already paid . They told me that the difference of $85.00 would be issued to my account in credit just in case I decided to enroll her again. My daughter did not go back because the classes were not advanced enough for her. The school is small and it is not advanced enough for children who are fast learners and need more challenge . If she needed something more challenging I would have to enroll her in private lessons which are very expensive and don't teach a good amount of time for the money you pay. I was never informed that credits expired in 150 days or that refunds were not possible. The lady who put the credit bak to my account just said that I would have the credit there available in case she wanted to come back. It has been a year and 7 months and I called today to see if they can issue the refund to my card since she will not be going back. I was told by ********* one of the employees there that my credit expired 150 days after the credit was given and that they do not do refunds. She told that all that was in their policy and that there's nothings they can do unless I enroll her again then maybe they can activate the credit again. I'm very upset because they did not tell me When I spoke to them , about the no refund policy or about the expiration of credit. She told me again that everything is written in the policy but parents should be reminded when something like this happens because after enrolling kid and assisting for 4 weeks or more, parents don't keep policies in their mind all the time. I think is ridiculous to expect parents to always remmeber
