    When I first spoke with the owner, he was communicative and gave the impressions that the job of a post possession clean would be done by 2 people and that they would arrive at 9 am. Elated, I thought, what a great owner. The new tenants and myself arrived at 8:50 am and waited and waited..... I called and texted the owner. We finally left at 9:30 am, because we didn't think anyone was coming. He did not call me back until 12:51 pm asking why it was a big deal for his crew to be 2 hours late and for there to only be 1 person. I explained that we would like our deposit back and his response was fine, but I'm charging you a $100 late cancellation fee. When further pressed to provide a reason, he wrote "so, we were late. Not going back and forth here. In the grand skeem (sp) this is not worthy of my time." Late meaning, they didn't show up until 2 hours after the agreed start time and the person I was told would be there, wasn't. The agreed upon terms were 2 people that would start at 9 am. After reading his Yelp reviews, and for every 1 star review the companies plays the blame game and vilifies the client that hired them. If a person makes a mistake, rather than blame them, maybe he should be thinking about ways to make it right instead of vilifying them.
