    On July 13, 2023, I visited the Subway location in ******, **. I previously was sent (by mail) coupons for Subway sandwiches. I brought a coupon that indicated I could receive a footlong sandwich for $6.99. Certain sandwiches were excluded from the promotion. I ordered a sandwich that was NOT excluded. Prior to ordering I asked the representative at the order counter if I could use the coupon on the sandwich I wanted. That person said yes I could. When I went to pay for the sandwich the representative at the register declined to accept the coupon. I then told them I didn't want it and ordered something else. This is classic bait and switch and a deceptive business practice. I submitted a complaint online with Subway corporate. Subsequently the franchise owner in ****** contacted me via email and advised they've opted out of certain coupon promotions. I find this entire situation to be completely unacceptable especially since I specifically asked, when ordering, if the coupon could be applied.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Franchise owner did not address my concerns about coupon mailers or how the staff treated the situation in-store.
