I purchased a Powersmart Gas String Trimmer from Amazon on June 26th for $158.99 (Order number 111-7820828-7771424). The trimmer was delivered on July 6th. I have used the trimmer twice and it will no longer start. Per the instructions on the box the trimmer came in and the instructions on the Trimmer's manual, Powersmart requested to not return the trimmer but to call their customer service number at **************. I followed these instructions but no one ever answers the phone and I always call during their advertised business hours of 9am-5pm EST. When calling, I have chosen the 'Speak to ***************** phone menu option and have waited on hold no less than an hour each time I call before giving up and hanging up. There is no option to leave a message. I have also chosen the 'If you're an Amazon customer' phone menu option and the line hangs up after about 10 minutes each time I call. I have filled out the 'Contact Us' form on the Powersmart website and received no response and have also followed up with an email to ******************************** to no avail. This has been going on for about 6 weeks now and now I am out of my return window with Amazon. I have followed Powersmart's instructions about contacting them, and used the several different avenues Powersmart provides to get in contact with them and this has gone nowhere. At this point, I would just like a refund or credit back to my account because ********************** does not seem true to their word about contacting their customer service.Initial Complaint

This lawnmower has had one problem after the other. I just took it to a repairman and had the pull cord replaced because the one on the mower broke right in half. Now I still can't get it started. The first week of using it the rear flap fell off and was run over and destroyed. It is useless to me now and I have contacted the 'company' at least 3 times and still waiting for a reply. I called their 'customer service' number and sat on hold for more than an hour. No one ever picked up. It is bad enough they have produced a piece of junk mower but now they are simply ignoring me and it supposedly has a three year warrenty. What good is a warrenty if you can't get any response from their customer service. I really want my money back not a replacement.Initial Complaint

We bought a PowerSmart 21 in. 144cc 2-in-1 *************** Lawn Mower, Mulching Push Lawn Mower, Red (DB8621CRX) two years ago. The first one we bought smoked and caught on fire. They sent us a replacement. We use the replacement today and so much smoke came out the fire department was called. It stopped working. We would like a push mower that has the bugs worked out to replace it or refund.Initial Complaint

I purchased model #DB8621SH on April 13 2023. We have mower our large yard several times, but less than normal because of lack of rain. On 8/12, the self propel cable broke. I have tried several times to contact this company via phone and email to resolve this concern Today, 8/25 the mover broke in the front wheel area. Purchased a Powersmart self propelled lawn mower from Menards in ********, ******* on April 13, 2023. Used only a few times at our lakehouse and not even 4 months later it is not cutting grass. Tried contacting the company via phone and email not response. From their website I contacted the two service locations in our area and was told they will not work on Powersmart. One even told me he thought they went out of business. So we now have a mower with a 3 yr warranty that no one will warranty! Menards will not return it since it had gas in it. I have since seen several complaints on their ******** page. This company should have some kind of lawsuit for not honoring their warranties!!Initial Complaint

I purchased a lawn mower in April the handle broke a month later since then I have filed a bbb and was told I would get the broken upper handle. One rep sent the wrong piece and I talked to two more who were supposed to get the right piece out and a wheel also which popped off as well. On September 17,2022 I purchased a mower from ******* for a total of $207.84. As the mowing season was over I stored the unopened box in my garage. When I opened the box this spring I noticed the right front wheel and axle were damaged. There was zero damage to the box. The axle is bent and wheel is broken. The more has never had fuel or oil added. ******* would do nothing as it was past **************************************************************************************** contact. I have received zero response. So I've paid for a very large paper weight. I was hoping they would help resolve the issue, but they do not return my messages to their website. I tried to give them time and opportunity to respond and have nothing to show for it. Paying for and having a working mower is the last one should be able to expect. I simply want a functioning product I paid for to do yard work. Another mowing season is ending without ever having used my new mower and it's beyond frustrating. I am including photos of the 4 sides of the box. The bent axle which needs significant force to bend. I purchased a lawn mower on 09/03/2021 Model #DB2194PR It has a three warranty. Two weeks ago it stopped working. I have many attempts to contact the manufacturer or a repair or return. I have tried to call Power smart, text them and email them with no response. The store I purchased the mower from from has also made several attempts call the company with no resolution. On April 24, 2023 I purchased a powersmart lawn mower for $240.62 (including tax). The lawnmower worked twice and has not started again since. I have called the customer services line and sat on hold for a total of 3 hours with no one answering. I have also sent three emails to the customer service department with no response. I have tried to look into a repair but the lawnmower is supposed to have a three year warranty and a repair would void the warranty. I also should not be paying to have a brand new lawnmower repaired.I just want a lawn mower that works as I am a single mother that does not have another $250 to purchase a lawn mower that works, but the company does not respond to anything. I am not even sure you can do anything to help at this point.
