Inappropriate use of legal representation after withdrawal from my case only being a signed representative for 45 days or less. This law firm refuses to remove the lien on a case they have not filed, nor represented me in any way. I am dealing with the ***************************** myself. Zayed law **** Zayed has refused to reply to all requests for release of my personal records he claims to have collected. He cannot produce any proof of that. He refuses to reply to progressive insurance agent in my case. They are holding an unlawful lean on my settlement without right to any compensation because they withdrew less than 60 days after I signed representation agreements. Which he also refused to release along with any other of my so called medical documents. This law firm needs to be contacted and then I need a case number of some sort with you BBB so I can contact the bar association

      Dear *****,

Thank you for your correspondence regarding your case. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and following our phone conversation on May 1st, 2025 we took the necessary steps to clarify any miscommunication with Progressive. We resent notice to *********** removing the attorney lien with Progressive and they have confirmed the same via email.  Additionally, our office sent a formal letter to you indicating the same.  This was done in good faith with the goal of ensuring that you achieve the best possible financial recovery.
That said, I would like to clarify that there is no legal requirement stipulating that an attorney must represent a client for a minimum of 45 days to earn their fee. Attorney fees are determined based on the work performed and the costs incurred during the representation. In your case, Zayed Law Offices provided legal services, including correspondence with insurance companies, the collection and review of your medical records, and incurred costs associated with these efforts.
It is standard practice for law firms to place a lien to ensure payment for services rendered and expenses incurred. The costs associated with your case exceed $300, which includes administrative expenses and direct payment to third parties for your medical records.
We have notified ********************* to remove the lien and have provided you with a letter regarding the same. We understand your frustration and are willing to work towards a resolution. If you have any further questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact us directly.

      Sincerely,
      *** ******

I am rejecting this response because:
The matter with Zayed law has resolved in that only if I agreed to say it's resolved they would release the lien on my settlement. He basically said in so many words. He'd remove the lien if I contacted BBB and stated the claim was resolved. It took him 8 months to respond to myself and the opposing insurance company. Only until my BBB complaint was *** or **** of Zayed law the least bit interested in good ethical representation and or withdraw. His firm absolutely negatively affected the outcome of my case.
However, the lien was removed so technically the issue is resolved with unethical practices.
      Sincerely,
