1 starThe absolute worst experience. Starts off the sales person ******************* was very unprofessional. It started off by riding around for 20 min , in a golf cart that barely ran. What's odd is that the other sales people had ************* carts. Will not bring up the seat being soaking wet. Then after showing us one it took another hour to go look at 3 more. The very last one my wife and I liked. So after running my credit and waiting another 45 minutes he shows back up. Hands me a paper and said "this is worse case scenario , we ran your credit and think we could get your payments lower. I will call you Monday" . By noon I thought I would call him. He is at a doctors appointment. Completely understandable. At 730pm he sends me a text that says" all denied. Sorry". Seriously that's all he sent me. And the day of there were plenty people that called me. After......Review fromAlex R

1 starBuyer beware! We requested to look at and drive a used **. Questions were asked. We signed paperwork, put down a down payment, and purchased insurance. We went to pick up the ******** was not the one we test drove, not the one we thought we were purchasing. We told the salesman, the tech, the finance person, and the manager we wanted our money back or the one we drove and thought we were buying. They continued to try to get us to make a new deal for the one we did not test drive or pay more money than we planned. We did get our down payment back about 7 days later. I have called 4 or 5 different times to get a cancellation letter for insurance. I still have not received the letter its been 3 weeks. We were informed the ** we test drove was a new one when we went to pick up the **. AFTER we QUESTIONED the salesman. We stated thus is not the one we test drove or signed for. Salesman reply was that was a new one. We replied we did not know that. His reply was I didnt either, until this morning. Instead of apologizing for a mistake they questioned us as if we were wrong, tried to make a new deal. Then ignore us.Review fromAlbert M

1 starFinanced a camper, picked camper up and returned it 2-3 days later (on paperwork it says 30 day cancelation policy. Even though we returned the camper , Camping World still put the financing paperwork through to the bank without us knowing. We didn't receive any paperwork as to the financing. Salesman Chance was very pushy! We called Camping World numerous times and told we need to call M&T Bank. M&T Bank told us we need to take this up with Camping World. Now we found out the bank repossessed the camper by picking it up on Camping World's lot. Now this company took advantage of me and I'm 85 years old with a credit score from 765 to 625 for a repossessed camper that I don't have and returned. Also paperwork that I have also states that if the information isn't correct then the contract is void. The address was incorrect meaning registration on the camper is incorrect. Camping World doesn't want to work with us to fqqind a resolution either does M&T Bank. Camping World fraudulently put the financing through when they knew I returned the camper and changed my mind. Now I have to get this of my credit report. I'm not going to pay for something I don't have or own!Review fromRobert M

1 starBought a new 2020 Jaco flight ****** where I messed up. I did not read the paperwork. They charged me $900 for gap insurance. My camper got total this year in a hellstorm. ************* would not cover it. Because camp world put a limit on my insurance. They did not tell us that they finance ***** instead of 13. They are very deceitful on their paperwork. So my advice is read it. Because these people are very dishonest.Review fromChristopher C

1 starDropped camper off there on Sept 29th - It's now Dec 4th and the small list of warrantee items has not been fixed yet.And.. while it sat on their lot behind a closed fence and security cameras my Cummins Onan **** generator was stolen from the camper. Yet, somehow they have no responsibility. It will cost out of my pocket (deductible).Avoid this place at all costs!!! They have no interest in service of any kind. All they want is to sell you something.Review fromVivian A

1 starI have purchased three RVs from Camping World, so sadly I did not learn my ****** sooner. No matter how many different Camping World Service locations I visit, they all have the same thing in common: horrible service department and workmanship. They do a butcher job and damage your camper in the process. For those of us who do not have a location nearby, taking it in thinking it is repaired is costly, only to have to leave it again. Not to mention paying for an RV you cannot use for weeks or months. There is no consideration for the customer or their purchase. There needs to be communication among departments, quality control, proper job completion, and accountability for mistakes. Please do not buy an RV here; stick to the items inside their nice store.Review fromJoanna P

1 starI bought a new camper in October 2022.When I signed the financing papers, I explained that I would not be able to ***************** in for service and was told there is a mobile technician who would come to the camper to deal with issues. At the beginning of the season in May 2023, I found an issue with the awning and immediately called service who did not respond or call me back. After numerous calls to service, an appointment was made for the mobile technician to come to the trailer. The morning he was to come, he called and said that he wasn't coming and asked me to send him pictures of the issue. I did so and nothing happened for about 3 more months. When I called back to see what was going on, I was told, oh the part is here, the technician will be there on a certain date. He did not show, nor did I receive a call. When I called back to service, I was given a runaround. An appointment was made and I arranged for a neighbor to be available. The technician did not talk to her or explain what he was doing. In fact, after he left, the awning was worse than before he came. I spoke to service again and was told that there was a different issue but the technician did not take the appropriate pictures. I was asked to take pictures. After I opened the awning and finally found the area to take the picture, I started to put the awning back in and the cylinder fell off the side arm. Fortunately, my neighbor was able to help. I sent pictures of the fallen cylinder. It was now about 3 weeks before the manufacturer's warranty was ending. I was told that I would need to pay mileage for the technician to come out and that it didn't matter anyway because the damage was obviously caused by weather so it wouldn't be covered anyway. I asked that all communication with the service department be provided to me and I have not heard anything back from them. They want your money and will not live up to their warranty or promises to be available.Review fromEdwin R F

1 starCamping World 225 **************************************************, **, in April 2022. Since then, I had been at the dealer four times with only one issue fixed. I had to stay at a hotel for two nights at my own expense. When I left the dealer and I arrived at the campground only one issue was fixed. Leak on window, windshield blind, storage door, radio missing USB port and remote, and slides coming out while driving were not fixed. The license plate light cover and the outside water heater compartment are rusted. I paid $3,995 for the paint protection. I talked to the service manager about the rust issue. He stated, there shouldnt be rust anywhere due to the paint protection. I got my unit back in around 30 minutes after they applied. He stated that there shouldnt be any rust on the unit. I told him that I wanted my $3,995 back. He told me, I will talk to finance to find out what needs to be done to get refunded. Then finance gave me a call and I explained to him the issues and that I wanted my money back. He stated that that had never happened before and that he was willing to have the protection applied to the unit. I told him that I had it with the incompetence of the dealer and that I just want it my money back. He stated that I signed the contract that states no refund. At that time, I told him that the service that I paid for was not provided, so there shouldnt be an issue to return me the money. He said are you refusing to bring the unit here so the protection can be applied. I asked him who was going to pay for the gas for 150 miles round trip. He replied so you are refusing to bring the unit and replied again whos paying for the gas, there was no answer. The only thing that I want is $3,995 that I paid for a service that I didnt get. I am not willing to go back to that dealer ever again after all the issues that I had with them. They have three work orders open, and orders have the needed parts. By the way, corporate isnt any better.
