I had a TERRIBLE experience with **** Foot and Ankle. Despite attending six follow-up appointments, they failed to collect payment and instead sent me to a collection agency for a $35 X-ray charge during my FIRST visit. This charge was even less or the same as my visit copay. If they had communicated I owed this ********, phone, letters, or at just one of the six follow-up visits, we wouldnt be at this point. It's unacceptable that they couldn't manage their billing properly during these appointments. Their lack of organization and communication left me feeling very frustrated and mistreated. Additionally, it is clear they do not understand or care about the long-term implications of sending a patient to collections.Clearly, reading the reviews below, this sounds like a problem that has become a MAJOR issue.

I am in agreement with ********************* about corruption in this business. Out of nowhere, this place sends me a bill for $15 from February of last year and when I call billing to ask what it is for they send me a statement. Mind you nothing on what my insurance paid for (BSBIL) lines up for what they even charged me. The very next day, I get a text message that I owe them $46 - for what? Their website for a patient has NOTHING and I mean NOTHING that matches back to what they charge for and what was billed to an insurance company. And there is more...they tried to bill BCBSIL x2 back in February of 2023. It almost seems that they break down their own billing in increments to get people to keep paying. I have stopped that nonsense and this place needs to be turned in for fraud.

Horrible and possibly corrupt company. ********, chaotic and possibly corrupt administration. Rude, dismissive and misleading medical staff. "Mistakes" and overbilling rampant, utter confusion and either purposefully taking advantage of people and overbilling or the whole company should be under investigation for fraud. With all that is severely broken in the US healthcare system, I have never had such poor, suspicious and/or outright fraudulent business dealings. Since this speciality primarily focuses on the elderly, are they set up this way to purposely take advantage of people and bully their way to overbilling and then ****** agressive and inaccurate collections companies? I definitely think so. I would be shocked if they are not already under investigation and would recommend that legal/government authorities look into them for fraud. Disgusting people and business on every level.

I wen to this clinic to check my feet and found out that same day that I have plantar fasciitis. Doctor told me to wear a boot and they measured my foot and leg. But before we left the clinic I made them understand verbally not to proceed to order or make the boot as I know this is expensive. I even mentioned that if insurance will not cover it to let me know before making the boot. I was in contact with **** as they were sending bills and paid partial of what I owed. But then another bill /statement of account came and immediately have asked why should I pay wherein I never said Yes regarding the boot. And **** knew that the boot is still with them and never delivered to me, after explaining this, still they continue to send the statement of account and told me that they will bring it to collection.
