I signed up with this company for as ***** advert. At the end of the unsuccessful campaign they asked if I want to continue the campaign and I declined. They continued to debit my account and when I complained they promised to refund the money in 7-10days. We are in the second month now and despite several emails even to the CEO no refund has been issued!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I received only $239 credit on my debit card card dispute, the second $239 was rejected because Terraboost submitted the attached document as proof of my order to the Bank. The document however clearly states that I should renew the advertising campaign by a certain date which I did not do. In addition to declining to renew the campaign I also sent them an email cancelling the campaign, they however still went ahead to debit my account twice! I have only half of my money back so Terraboost still needs to refund me the balance of $239 if indeed they take customer complaints seriously.They have not acted in good faith in my opinion and should refund me promptly so we can put the matter to rest. I am not even asking for interest on my money they have held on to for several months.

I am rejecting this response because: I am contacting you again about the above case number where Terraboost stated they were committed to refunding my money but that they had to wait for the Bank dispute process to play out. The Bank has refunded only $239 for one transaction but declined to refund the $239 for the initial transaction stating that Terraboost informed them a service was provided which is clearly not the case.
This has taken too long and is very unfair to me. I ask Terraboost to do the right thing and refund my money like they have promised to the BBB.

On January 30, 2024, I received a marketing email from Terraboost Media offering an advertising opportunity at my local Marianos store, which I frequently shop at and enjoy. I agreed to the terms and paid for a six-month campaign with the explicit understanding that there would be no automatic renewal. On July 17, I received an email from Terraboost inviting me to consider renewing the campaign. On the same day, I replied to the email with the message: "we will cancel," clearly indicating my intention to terminate the service. Since I did not receive any acknowledgment of my cancellation, I followed up a week later by calling the number provided in the email ***************). During this call, I was assured that my cancellation email had been received and that my account would be canceled. Despite these actions, in October 2024, my credit card was charged $195. I contacted Terraboosts customer care and was informed that the charge should not have occurred and that a refund request would be submitted. However, in November 2024, I was charged another $195. I escalated the matter to ******* from Sales and *****, my account manager, who both assured me they would address the issue with corporate and process a refund. ***** even asked me to remove a negative review I had left on ******, promising resolution in return. Trusting his word, I removed the review. Unfortunately, a week later, I received an email from ***** at Terraboost stating that they never received my cancellation request and would not process a refund. ***** subsequently replied with the email I had sent on July 17, 2024, clearly time-stamped as my cancellation request. Despite this evidence, Terraboost has not processed my refunds and has failed to respond to my credit card companys dispute inquiries.I am seeking a refund of $390 for the unauthorized charges in October and November 2024.I request written confirmation that my account has been canceled to ensure no further unauthorized charges.Business Response

These people continued to charge our card, without authorization, beyond the expiration of the contract. Entered into an advertising contract with the company for 4 paid kiosks and 2 complimentary because of a previous mix up. The payment on my contract began immediately via autopay although installation was not completed for several months. Some months after installation was completed, I requested an artwork change. The contract is paid in full and they have several thousands of dollars from me. The representative assured me that this would get done. 2 months passed with little communication. After following up I was told that the contract with the retail space was lost and they would relocate 2 kiosks to another location. The location described was unacceptable. Additionally, no offer was made about the remaining 4 kiosks. Someone was supposed to contact me to resolve the issue. I have not received any additional communication from them.Business Response

I signed a contract with Terraboost Media in Oct, 2023 to sponsor a "Wellness Kiosk" in the Kroger Grocery store in ****, SC from 1/18/24 until 1/18/25. I paid a $490 deposit on 10/05/23 and then $240/month for 9 months - totally $2650. After 9 months, I realized that the kiosk has NEVER been installed and I advised **** to STOP the reoccurring charge. Terraboost will not respond to concerns. I set up a virtual appointment online with customer service and the *** "no showed". I have emailed with ******* ******, who promised to "escalate" my complaint. I've spoken on the phone with multiple people with not resolution. The standard response is that they will need to check into the problem and get back in touch with me. The last conversation that I had was on 11/8/24 with ****, who claimed that he had just taken over my account and would check to see what he can do. On 1/10/25, I received a document for me to sign from ************************* that contained an agreement from Terraboost releasing them of the $2650 that they owe me in exchange for $720. There is no way to reply to the email - just sign it & agree to release them from all obligations of our initial contract. I have had no other "communication" from anyone associated with Terraboost. I have no idea how they arrived at a partial refund of what they ultimately owe me.

Contract for advertising with Terraboost for 6 months. Received confirmation that the campaign was to end on 11/4/24 and that if I did not contact them by 10/24/24 to renew the campaign was closed. I did NOT renew. However, they continued to charge my credit card for another month on 11/4/24 in the amount of $195. The invoice clearly states they are charging me for "Payment 7 of 6." I have called and emailed several of their employees including employees who were the initial salespeople, request a support ticket and as soon as I tell them they over billed me, they stop responding to me. I am filing a dispute with my credit card for a refund as well as a block on any other charges. A look at reviews on TrustPilot shows that they have a pattern of this type of fraudulent billing once a contract has ended.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I contacted Terraboost numerous times regarding the false charge. I expected someone to respond appropriately, emailed numerous times to two specific people (Madelline and ******), called another who was incoherent and I had to hang up, and submitted support requests. However, when I received a vague response only from a support request asking me why I was contacting them, they stopped responding when I stated that I was contacting them regarding the dispute. After numerous attempts from me, I received one email from a support staff who ignored my other emails and tried to pretend they had not provided me with an email confirming an end date to the contract. I received a phone call from a marketing person at Terraboost who knew nothing about this situation and was surprised when I told him the difficulties I was having (he was hoping that I wanted to continue with the campaign). I have phone records, his name and phone number. When I told him the situation, he stated that he understood my situation and that there was no need to do anything and would take care of the problem on their end. Even after that phone call, I received an email trying to coerce me to sign another contract a "release' contract with a lot of legal jargon, which I would not do. I also received an email after that "release" contract was sent telling me to disregard the email I received the month before in writing that ended the contract. Again, how unprofessional and "scammy" to try to retract an email weeks earlier that released me from the contract, which is not a legal way to conduct business. I contacted **************** and they suggested I not sign anything with them as they were blocked from my account. Not one person from Terraboost has ever contacted me directly via email or phone call regarding this situation initially or after the problem to apologize. They could not have handled this situation in a more unprofessional and inappropriate manner that would leave anyone wondering their intentions to trick people into paying for services beyond what was ever expected or communicated and then when caught and held accountable, they continued to play games.

My contract for a kiosk ad was signed on 8/27/24, and my art proof for this ad was accepted by me on 9/5/24. Per the language of their contract page 2 paragraph 2, I should have had my ad installed within ***** days after the art proof was accepted. I have still not had my ad installed. I did everything on my end to expedite the process. I was still charged for my first month of the service, despite not having my ad installed. Since Terraboost is already operating outside of the bounds of the contract I signed (attached; highlighted on page one and two), is not upholding the agreed upon timeline, cannot provide an exact date of installation, has not offered or agreed to a refund of my first payment, and will not release me from the contract, I felt my next step will be to contact the ************************* desired outcome is to be released from the contract and get my money from my first payment returned.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I have been given no clear timeline for payments, a new agreement, or any type of formal written explanation other than emails. I have requested that information on Nov 20th 2024 and have yet to receive a response from my Client ****************** looking at my online billing portal, Im also still paying for the full year (13 payments of $450; see attached).The fact that I will now have to be paying and working with a company for a much longer period of time is distressing. I have been offered a delayed billing (see the bbb response) as well as a free month (see attached). This doesnt actually serve me as a resolution, as I am now tied into working with Terraboost even longer, which impacts my company.
Now that the timeline is excessively delayed, I now have to adjust all my fiscal planning for 2025 and make payments into November of next year. I had only planned on working with Terraboost into around Sept/Oct. The impact of this isnt just inconvenience or dissatisfaction. It has completely shifted my small business marketing and fiscal planning.
I was also offered to change the ad location as a resolution, and I do not have any updated information about the new ad installation. The photo in their response is from the previous location; I have not received any updates about the new location. No changes are visible on my portal as well. There is a consistent trend of lack of communication and updates from Terraboost, which leaves me with very little confidence in their company.
Since the company has already been operating outside of their contract deadlines (my initial complaint), has not been providing formal, transparent information or updates, and has dramatically impacted my business operations, I would like to be released from this contract.

I am rejecting this response because:UPDATE: Since I have not received Terraboost updates on the installation of the ad or correspondence on the matter since 12/11/24, I decided to travel to the ad location at my own expense. On 12/27/24 I visited the ****************** Giant location to see if my ad had been installed. Not only was my ad not installed, but this location also does not have the kiosks which display Terraboost ads (attached photos). This was quite a surprise since this location is marked as available on the Terraboost kiosk listings.
Your proposed resolution also does not address my primary concern or desired outcome. While I acknowledge that the kiosk was eventually installed on 11/8/24 at the original location, this resolution is insufficient for several reasons.
First, there is a clear breach of contract. This is my primary concern. The terms outlined in the agreement (page 2, paragraph 2), the installation was to occur within 2030 days of my art proof acceptance on 9/5/24. The delay of over two months constitutes a violation of the contract and has disrupted my business operations and marketing strategy.
Second, there has been a consistent trend of delayed or absent communication from your team. I have repeatedly requested updates, clarification, and formal documentation about billing adjustments and the new ad location. Thankfully I have finally received a new billing schedule after submitting my first rejection. However, concerns have gone largely unaddressed, and this lack of transparency has further undermined my confidence in your company.
Third, the delay has caused significant financial and operational strain. I have no clear sense of how long the ad has been displayed, and it certainly hasnt been installed at the ****************** location. Ive even paid for this month ($450 billed *****), and the ad has not been installed. Even with your offer of delayed billing and a free month, the timeline has forced me to recalibrate my fiscal and marketing plans that were time sensitive.
Fourth, I must reiterate my concerns about the new ad kiosk location. I have already paid for this month at the new location, I believe its reasonable to expect communication about the installation. The online portal gives no indication of a location change, and I have not received any other updates via email. Whats worse was discovering the lack of Terraboost kiosks at the location. I have been reliably paying for Terraboost services, but I have not been receiving the service outlined in the contract.
Your response does not provide a formal acknowledgment of the breach of contract or address my request for contract termination. Additionally, I have not received updated information regarding the new ad location or confirmation that my concerns have been resolved in full.
For these reasons, I reiterate my request for a release from the contract, without penalty. During the summer I was so happy to be working with Terraboost, and now I cannot imagine continuing this stressful working relationship into next summer.
This situation has caused significant operational and financial strain on my business. Given the prolonged delays, lack of communication, and contractual breach, I believe my request is both reasonable and justified.
It is my hope that we can come to an agreement that is satisfactory. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your prompt response.Initial Complaint

I purchased advertising (grocery store bill board) from them. It was set up and I was sent a photo of the 'billboard' placed in the grocery store. I was paying monthly but had my credit card compromised so I updated my payment method on my Terraboost account so I would continue getting billed. This payment method was update was in May 2024. The following month (June) I went in to check out the billboard in person and it wasn't there. I called the sales *** and I was told that sometimes the store manager would move the billboards so I spoke to the manager and they informed me it had not been moved. When I spoke to the sales *** at Terraboost again I was assured the billboard was fine. My mistake was trusting this. In September I got a call from Terraboost stating that I hadn't been billed since April or May and that I owed over $1000. I thought this was odd since I updated my payment method on their website in my user account. I looked back over my credit card statements and I had not been billed for the billboard at all since updating my card. Apparently they had continued to try and bill my old credit card, which I was told could not be removed from my user account so I added the secondary card to be billed. I have been in touch with **** at ext 7005 a number of times. He never calls me back. No one calls me back. I have been emailed about this ONE TIME from accounts rec. and I stated I only wanted to communicate via email since I was suspicious that this was a scam due to their phones being ****** voice numbers. No response. I told **** NOT to reinstall the billboard and that I was cancelling because its such a mess and when I called him back, he told me he had it reinstalled! No one listens! They wouldn't bill my updated CC, they took the billboard down without even telling me, NO ONE responds to me, no one calls me back and I want to cancel this contract. My company signed a contract with Terraboost for a sanitation wipe station with our information to be displayed in the local **** *****. Our station was supposed to be put up in mid September. It is still not up. The store manager at **** ***** has no idea what I am talking about when I inquired about it. I have left multiple messages, sent emails, and sent messages on the Terraboost site with no response. I received a call from ****** once, promising our sign would be up on 9/30, it was not. I have left message again since then with no response. The lack of communication is unacceptable and we are being billed for the station even though we have never physically seen it, and it is not in **** ***** like it was supposed to be.Business Response
