Terraboost fraudulently charges customer for advertising have never been delivered, sales *** forced our company to sign a contract for advertising for one year but then no ad delivered and instead company keeps charging our credit card for an ad which has never been delivered. Terraboost never responded to our complaint and never provided a resolution, we are asking a full refund for all monthly charges and stop future payments.Business Response

Like many others, we were contacted by terraboost about having our company advertised on kiosks. We were interested but wanted to make sure that if we didn't see much response, then we could end the contract.I was very deliberate about making sure that we were not in a long commitment and was told specifically by the sales *** that it was a month to month contract that we could cancel at anytime. After launching, we did not see any response from the kiosks even though we had several in 3 different cities.I reached out to cancel the service and was then told that tucked into the weeds of the contract was an annual commitment. Our assigned account manager's response was to talk non stop for about 2 minutes (apparently reading from a script) on the company's position about my concern. Apparently this must happen a lot since they have a p***ared script. The position was pretty much "we don't care what our team may have told you... you signed a contract". It is true, I signed a contract, but I didn't think that would be a deliberate strategy employed by a business, lie directly to you, then hope you miss a detail when signing the contract. I told them I could be reasonable and pay for the service for a period of months, but it didn't seem right to be lied to and pay for an entire year. Our assigned account manager said she would check and get back with me. Since then, they have completed ghosted me and are not responded to any of my attempts to reach them for about 3 weeks now.With all of the "resolved" complaints on here, I think this is just the way they operate. Lie, stall, and then maybe refund when and if you make a complaint. This is looking like a pattern of shady behavior.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
They have been able to reach me for months by email, which would be the easiest way to reach out to me. I have also spoken to them on the phone in the past. Since I raised a concern about being lied to about my contract, all communication stopped.Since I made this complaint, I have not seen received a single email or received a call. This makes me wonder if they are pretending to reach out.
If they are reading this response, then they should send an email to my same email address that their designers and account manager corresponded with me previously.

I signed a contract for this company to place an advertising kiosk (sanitizer wipe dispenser) at the exit of the ******************** in **********, **. The kiosk was installed in March of 2023. In May I received an email from Terraboost stating that ***** Brothers had removed the kiosk and that they were working on it. The kiosk was supposed to be there through April 2024, and they kept sending me renewal offers, but turns out the kiosk was not there at all, and in fact one of the company's employees (*************************) has verbally stated to me that their contract with ***** Brothers ended "over the summer". The same employee has told me multiple times that they would issue me a refund for the payments made after the kiosk was removed, but I kept waiting and no refund ever happened, and now they won't return my calls.Business Response

Hi, I signed a contract with terraboost on 5/29/24. I was told I would have 2 digital ads on the kiosks in the entrance of the store as you walked into the store. *** kiosk would be right there as you walked in and everyone would see my ad. 6/12/24: I started designing my ad by sending **** my logo and information that I would like on the 2 ads. *at one point she thought I had a static ad and not digital* I had to correct her and she had to look just a bit further otherwise she would have created a static ad vs a digital ad. All the info was sent over and they were going to create the digital ad. 6/17/24: I emailed **** because I hadn't heard back from her regarding a follow up (your ad is complete) on the ad. So I emailed asking if it was ready so I could go over there and take a look. * I never heard back from her. {I don't know specific date) I called terraboost and they said that it's been up for a few days now! 6/28/24: I go to ******* and walk right in and don't see a kiosk. I turn around and there it is....right in the walkway of the entrance to the right (the other kiosk was on the left of the entrance). No one is going to stand in the entrance of a store to read these digital ads. Let alone walk right past the kiosk. My ad was on one but not the second kiosk. 7/2/24: phone convo with ******* (Manager) shared my situation and he was going to work on something. I had pics so I sent them to him, he followed up w/ email on 7/3/24 saying he received pics and is working on getting my ad in another location. 7/8/24: we spoke and suggests that maybe I go into another store with ONE static ad at the same price. He suggested I go to the store to look at the location of the kiosk. *which I did*I thought about this situation and sent a f/u email asking why is it the same price $140. 7/9/24: His response *** standard cost for each kiosk in that store is $3588 for each side, or $299/mo. If you would prefer, I can bump up the change fee to reflect that price?Business Response

I ordered a kiosk to be put up for advertising at a local CVS. It was installed in April 24th, 2024. On 4/27/2024, I let the company know the kiosk had a major error on it. They did fix the problem because the kiosk delivered was different from the proof I approved. On 5-15-2024, the new kiosk was installed. I was happy, but on June 13th 2024, I stopped in and my kiosk has been replaced with someone elses. I did reach out and was told it would be resolved by 6-21-2024. It is 6-25-2024, and no resolution or update. They agreed not to charge me for this month since I dont have a kiosk. I want out of my 1-year contract because this has been a nightmare from the start. They clearly dont honor their contracts so I no longer want to do business with them.Business Response

I received a soliciting call from ********************* at Terraboost Media about advertising in a local ************ He texted me samples of what the display would look like and said he would send documents for me to sign, and that they would put together my photo and information on the display in the local ************ I signed my documents and never heard back from them and now they are putting me in collections. I never received services from these people, nor did they ever contact me with any templates or samples of what my ad would look like I never heard back from them and now theyre charging me for a service that I did not receive. After **************** contracted with us for an advertising campaign on a wellness billboard, we attempted to contact her via email and phone several times but she did not respond to our attempts to discuss her artwork or campaign. In accordance with the contract she signed, we finally installed a generic ad on her wellness billboard, which remained in place until her contract expired. During the timeframe of her campaign, she missed several payments. She was notified about the missing payments by email notice, and our accounting team also attempted to reach her without success. On 1/3/24 I signed a contract with Terraboost to place an advertising kiosk in a local grocery store in ******, Tx. I paid the full amount of $1799 in advance for the year-long campaign. The sign was first placed in the store on 2/13/24. The sign was in a terrible location, not located in front of the store by the carts as I was originally told. The sign could not be seen by customers, making it a waste of advertising money. After seeing the sign on 2/18/24, we worked with the store manager to move the kiosk/sign to a better-seen location. After seeing the sign had been moved back to the original location, I notified Terraboost (for the first time) on 2/28/24 asking if we could move the kiosk to the spot I was told it would be in when signing the contract. I worked with my sales **** ************************************** who told me via phone call that she would have the sign placed properly. As of 3/6/24, there was no change in placement, so I sent a follow-up email. On 3/6/24, ******** followed up and stated that she would talk with her manager and resolve the issue. I asked if we could relocate the kiosk to a nearby store (which I was told was open) and I received a venue change form on 5/16/24 (after many phone calls and emails). The sign however was taken down prior to 5/10/24. To this day, 6/17/24, my sign is not at any location (although I paid for a full year of advertising) and I have made many attempts to work with Terraboost and even requested a refund. There is currently other businesses being advertised at both locations that I was promised. I have been incredibly patient with this company and have attempted talking to supervisors with no calls returned. I feel as if a full refund should be mandatory due to 6 months of attempting relocation and constant battles with the company, working towards a solution with no luck.Business Response

This company lied to us. They told us that they will work with is to create a campaign to advertise our business. Once we made the payment and signed the contract we have not been able to get anyone on the phone pr to answer an email. On their website our account still shows Action required- Art ***** Approval. Without our approval they started the campaign and started billing us. We have left many messages and emails stating that we do not wish to do business with them but we get no response. Terraboost Media takes customer complaints seriously and works to resolve any issues that arise. ***************************** contracted Terraboost Media for an advertising campaign for their business, Humane Home Health. We worked with the customer to develop the artwork for the campaign, sharing it with the customer in our online campaign management portal. After the customer provided feedback, we made changes to the artwork in October 2023. The customer did not approve the artwork and, as is required in our contract and after attempting to resolve the artwork with the customer in October, November, and December 2023, we informed the customer via email and our online campaign management portal that we would be installing generic artwork for their campaign. Terraboost Media met its obligations under the contract, and worked diligently to resolve the customer's concerns.

After many tries, we decided that if the company can't even get their website to work correctly, we do not want to work with them. We requested for them to cancel services many times. They refused to stop billing us. They just sent us an email today requesting we approve the artwork. They have been billing us for months without providing the advertisement.

I am rejecting this response because: I have provided proof that their website has not and is still not working. Below is a Dropbox link to a video I made just this morning showing that their website is not working correctly. They never provided us with the capability to edit and modify our ad. I have been informing them of the issues since the beginning of our relationship. Instead of fixing the problem, they just started to bill us. They still have not provided any proof that their company is providing the advertising services they promised. Any legit company would understand the situation and provide a refund, after all it is their fault their website is not operating correctly. But not Teraboost, they want to take advantage of companies and are doing so as I have proven to you. I demand a full refund and if they don't provide it we will be Sueing them in court.*******************************************************************************************************************************

I too, like SEVERAL other realtors whove already left commentary on the lack of communication and services provided from tbm, have had exact the same experience and now Im here to report and seek help with their predatory practices that seem to be a common trend. I dont know how theyre still in business and able to inflict more victims when people have been complaining about them for years now - look at any of the other victims complaints on BBB! April 2023, I was minding my business and received a call from a man named *** who sold me a kiosk in the Giant grocery store in *******, **. The agreement was a top one bottom kiosk with my realtor info for 1 full yr ;from production of the signage + control over the design with a 60 day delivery for a total of 3k and I paid 500 that day. From the gate there were Several mishaps in their communication style; the first 2wks there was no communication at all. Then I contacted *** for an update and thats when the weird calls started, where they would call and hang up on me - when I called back I was told there were notes in my file stating they couldnt reach me successfully. Then the horrible experience with the art work that was never produced and thats when I told Everyone I no longer wished to work with them. They stopped communicating, stopped collecting payments so naturally I assumed that was the end and counted that first payment as a loss. UNTIL 5mo later when they suddenly/randomly attempted to collect payments leading me to have to dispute and shut down that credit card After giving them another $500 - meaning theyve now received 1k towards a kiosk that still hasnt been produced. We were well over the 60 day delivery period which was their initial breach and again there was zero communication of any kind during that period. Speeding up to present day, Im being threatened by ************ (their collection agency) to pay $2595 to avoid legal action. BBB please shut these people down!Business Response

After a telephone art briefing, Terraboost provided a digital proof of the artwork through our client campaign portal. ****************** did not approve the artwork. After multiple attempts to reach her by email and phone to resolve her artwork, we installed generic artwork in May 2023 in accordance with our contract with ******************. I signed a contract with Terraboost to create and place a kiosk advertising my business in a local grocery store. The kiosk, per the agreement signed on 10/23/23, was to be placed "E2 (R)" in the store. The salesman for this account, ****, later confirmed this to mean "to the right of the entrance" in my local store. I paid $250 for art production and $239 a month starting December 2023. Including my initial payment, the campaign would total $3118.The kiosk production went well but was initially placed in the incorrect store. I notified them of this on 12/22/23, and things were finally resolved 1/10/24. I was compensated with a free month added to the end of my campaign. The kiosk went missing again around a week later, and I notified Terraboost on 1/16/24. I followed up on 1/22 and 1/28, and when I finally received an answer on 1/30, the kiosk was still in the incorrect store. This store is around the corner from my small business, and I shop there myself. During this process, I was repeatedly assured that the kiosk was in the correct place, I just was not looking hard enough.Sometime in late February/early March my kiosk was finally placed in the correct store, but in the pharmacy in the back of the store, facing the back wall. The kiosk is unable to be seen unless you are standing at the pharmacy counters. When I discovered this placement, I asked to be released from my contract and halt any further payments, as I was sold an entrance placement with lots of foot traffic and received what is, in my opinion, the worst placement in the store. I have been denied canceling my contract, and though I was promised resolutions and conversations with several people on Terraboost's support staff, I have not been contacted since 4/23/24. I have been charged in December, January, March, and April for my kiosk to be in the wrong location per my contract, which stipulates the address of the store and the internal placement of the kiosk.Business Response
