    An insurance policy with full coverage was obtained for both of our vehicles. My husband works for **** and ****, **** knew this. **** stated Country doesnt cover drivers such as my husband however the rideshare companies provide insurance in the event of an accident and hes on the clock. Or so thats what we were told. This is true if my husband would have been at fault for the accident sustained in the early winter of 2021. Because my husband was not at fault, *********************** Allstate, pursued the other driver who ended up being with a garbage insurance company who denied the claims and vanished leaving my husband to professionally drive a vehicle for 6 months wrecked, until the last accident in June left the car totaled, thankfully he was off the clock for that accident so it was covered. We received roughy $4-5k less on the appraised value bc of the damaged back end that was never fixed, as a result of ***** best advice on our situation: let Uber be your insurance company while youre driving and Ill hook you up with pleasure drive discounts. However given we paid thousands of dollars for both policies for the year, I find it disgusting that we find out the hard way that we actually werent insured with the 1st accident at all. Gross negligence. And when I brought it up to **** he just vanished never to be heard from again. It was at this time I cancelled both policies including my homeowners policy as I no longer trusted ****. Then for some reason, our refund check never made it to us. It took months and was for over $1,000. Our bank accounts have suffered as a result, thus forcing us to purchase a car of lesser value with higher miles, as our budget for a replacement car was nowhere near what we paid for the car that was totaled, only one year prior. Id like for **** to be held accountable instead of hiding thinking that I will just disappear. Something horrible could have happened to my husband and **** would have still vanished.
