      My dad has been out of gas since the beginning of the month. I called nicor and they said there systems were down and could not speak to a customer service representative. They said there systems wouldn't be back up until August 8th and his gas is still shut off. I called today and couldn't get ahold of a representative. I was given a confirmation number to call on Monday if gas isn't ****** back on.

We cannot discuss the account with out the account holders permission.  The account holder will needs to call ************** Nicor ***************** M-F ******* for further assistance. The name above does not match our account holder.

      Bill for NICOR is normally $111.00 a month; for August bill it went up to $202.72. Called them at ************ and they say that the gas has gone up. I spoke with other people in the neighborhood and they say there bill has gone up only $40.00 . I dont understand. i use the gas for cooking and heating but i am not heating now. I need to know from NiCOR why the gas has gone up so much for my particular home when the neightbors dont seem to pay as much.

      Nothing further to add.  Customer spoke with ********************** ***************** earlier today. She is not required to be on the Budget Plan should she go off the Budget she will pay the payoff balance.
      Your Budget Plan amount is re-evaluated every four months to determine whether your payment amount is appropriate. We will make an adjustment (either higher or lower) depending on your actual usage thus far and expected future gas costs. This adjustment will automatically appear on your next bill. At the time of re-evaluation, any debit or credit on your account will be taken into consideration when determining your budget payment amount.
      Natural Gas Cost August 2021 was .53 cents per therm.
      Natural Gas Cost August 2022 is $1.24 per therm.
      Natural Gas Cost has increased .71 cents per therm from last year.

      The house I live in was purchased and closed on in February of this year, 2022. Nicor disconnected service to my home stating that they never notated the home had been sold, even though I have my own account with them opened the month the house was purchased, february 2022, that is 100% current and never even been paid late. We were given no notice, no posting on the door, no phone call. **************** couldn't even explain what had happened fully and I was left without gas, hot water, working stove, for two full days with a child in the home.
