Consumers are alleging that the advertisement is not clear and conspicuous that they would be billed separately the same amount for each item in the collection. This is an example only and can be found on other products on the website.

21.1.1 For example, prices, illustrations or descriptions must not be so placed or displayed in an advertisement as to give the impression that the price or terms of featured products or services apply to other products or services in the advertisement, when such is not the case.
Here are the requested next steps for your business:
- Modify website to clearly and conspicuously disclose that the product is not sold as a complete set at the advertised price as each piece is sold separately to complete the collection.
On January 12, 2022 the business responded to BBB and stated that revisions to their advertising and testing of the changes may take as long as a month. BBB expects to hear back from the business as promised.

On 7/18/2023, BBB contacted the business regarding their advertised products on their website. Consumers alleged that the design of the website was confusing and made it so that customers purchased items that were a part of a collection without the customer realizing until they were being billed. This information has to be clear as required by the BBB Code of Advertising.

On 9/11/2023 the business responded to BBB and stated that once the client selects and adds the collection to their cart, they will be shown the RISK-FREE Subscription verbiage before they SUBMIT their order. The customer can cancel at any time and return any item for a refund.
Per Bradford Exchange, extra verbiage was added to the check out this last year to avoid customer confusion.
This Ad review is the 2nd time the business has had to address the layout on their website product page. As of 9/11/2023, the business has made corrections to the website per the check out and addressed the concerns relating to consumers misunderstanding that a product they purchased was a part of a series collection.
