On 9/21/22, I requested a tow through ******* Roadside assistance which is fulfilled by Allstate. Big Time towing was sent to pick up my car. The passenger front fender was damaged in the process. I filed a claim with Allstate and BigTime Towing submitted pictures showing the fender irregularity and the buckling where the fender seam meets the door. I think the Allstate claims specialist was in a hurry because he stated that there was no damage and the case was closed. There is indeed damage to the fender and irregularity where the seam meets the door. I have attached a photo. I tried to contact Allstate twice by email and again by phone. I was told that the claim was escalated but I still haven't heard back. I have also been unable to contact Big Time towing or Allstate so the claim can be re-evaluated and my car can be repaired. I would like to have the claim reopened and have some one re-evaluate the pictures or come and look at the car in person so that I can get my car repaired.I have attached a photo of the damage as well as the email correspondence from the Allstate Damage Mediator.Thank you, *******************Business Response

I have ******* Roadside Assistance which is administered by Allstate. I have attached my bill from Sept. 2022 when the incident happened which shows on page 2 that I had the Roadside ****************** as part of my cell phone service. I have also attached my most recent bill which shows on page 4 that I am still a subscriber to the ******* Roadside ****************** that is administered through Allstate. I am also attaching a *** about the ******* Roadside assistance program. You can see on the *** that in order to receive assistance you go to ****************************************************************** in order to request help with your vehicle. Please let me know if there is any further information that you need. The bank card Allstate roadside service has on file has been expired since December 2022 and I have changed bank accounts for this service. They continue to charge my old bank account and causing me to have overdraft fees. I've called three times in this matter and I am getting nowhere with them. When I asked to speak to a supervisor at Allstate roadside service they told me they weren't going to allow it. Where are my rights. This will lead to a lawsuit for their redrafts and I will call every news channel in buffalo area I've had it with this company!!!!Business Response

Back in December of 2022 I was unemployed due to A lay off and was unable to make my payment and this went on for a month and a half. I finally was able to make a payment in February for $1300 and that was what I was told we need it. I paid it and I was told that our insurance would be reinstated there after on February 21st I received a letter in the mail, saying that my insurance and my spouses would not be reinstated after we have been with Allstate approximately three years I explain to them that the reason I couldnt make payment was due to my unemployment situation I dont understand businesses, nowadays I feel they should cut us some slack I sent them $1300 they reimburse me $579. I was wondering why I got that payment however now Im riding around with no insurance unknowingly for about two weeks and told that they will not be reinstated.. our insurance and I just need answers and I need my insurance reinstated , I am starting to feel like because we live in *******. This is why they dont want to reinsure us they are red lining us and I need answers and mainly I need to be reassured as well as my husband. I dont feel we should have to insurance shop its bothersome Im 62 years old. My husband is 67 and we dont need this. Ive called this roadside assistance club many times over the last 4 months. I get transferred many times (the call on 02/10/2023 was 7 transfers before I gave up). I just want to cancel my membership. The membership number is ********* and it is billed on the 9th of the month for $12.42. I filed a damage claim with Allstate Roadside in late December for damage caused by the tow truck that Allstate sent (through GM Roadside that is run by Allstate). I was first contact by the claims rep on December 29th asking for multiple documents and paperwork. I promptly completed all of the paperwork and heard nothing until January 18th that my claim was approved and I would be receiving a check within 5 - 10 business days.It it now February ********* have still not received a check. I have called and emailed the claims rep for over a week and they have still not gotten back to me. This is similar to the initial claim, where I followed up multiple times and heard nothing before the claim was approved.Business Response

Date-12/20/22 Amount paid for Allstate Roadside-$179.00 dollars.I was promised a refund of half the price of my membership for $89.00 dollars.I'm disputing this transition because I was never provided the $89.00 dollars that was promised to be credited to my account.I've called Allstate customer service on several occasions and have spoken with multiple representatives. Two customer service reps ************************ and two managers **************************. Each time I called I was promised that this issue would be resolved. And I would receive a call from a rep in their billing **** to credit back the difference of 50pct. of my membership. On my last call, I was told they would escalate my refund since no one in customer service had access to process refunds. Yet they could only provide me the last 4-digits of a card ending in #**** that supposedly credited. As of 02/07 no one has contacted me and this has been a ongoing issue for over a month and half. I've been lied to several times. Every time I spoken with a representatives they were rude and unprofessional. Failed to transfer me to a supervisor when requested. Stated no manager was on staff to assist me. Once I finally spoke with a manger. I was advised each my issue would be resolved, however no one ever reached out to me and my card was never credited for any amount. Outside of getting my refund, I would like to make a formal complaint on the service I experience from both reps to each supervisor. No once took accountability, or took my concerns seriously and I've waisted several hours on the phone. And there were unnecessary bank fees charged to my account. I was a member of AARP Motoring Plan through Allstate when my vehicle had a flat about 45 miles from home at which time I called them to come and fix my flat since I didnt have the core tools to fix it. Mind you it was getting dark and there are thieves along this stretch of highway. Anyway,I was told they couldnt even confirm of my membership and they would have to call me back. I waited 35 minutes and no one called, by this time it was getting dark, so I had to leave my boat with all my equipment on it to drive 45 miles home to get tools to go back and fix my flat. This was on 11/05/22. My wife called on 11/07/22 to speak with someone and was told a complaint would be filed, refund would be issued on my ********** would receive an email to confirm. No email came and no refund. She called back in couple of weeks and was told there was no claim filed, still no refund. My wife called today 01/10/23 and was told that a refund was issued for $33.55 was issued on 12/19/22 to a **** ending in ****, but we do not have a **** with that number. They had the correct credit card on file before December 22, but said it we had changed it the card. We didnt and we dont own a credit with those last four numbers. Also, the credit was supposed to issued in the full amount, which was $79 before fees added. We need to find out where our refund is and why a strange credit card was issued $33.55. On December 15th, 2022 I requested a tire change through Allstate motorclub ******************************** was the provider that was sent by Allstate MotorClub to do the service. When he changed the tire and took the car off the **** he used because he did not use the one that the vehicle came with he used his own it was red with a plate on the end. When he took the vehicle off the **** all of the fuel started pouring out I asked him what happened and he said i dont know , I asked him several times why this was happening and he kept saying he didnt know what happened and he left. While I was left with a vehicle that was gushing the full fuel tank of gas. I reported the damage to roadside assistance when he left I spoke to a representative by the name of *** and she escalated it to the damage team and I also reported it via the chat with a live representative. The damage is located in the vehicles undercarriage and there are pieces broken in near the fuel tank as well as the fuel tank its self. The damage team then had a mediator reach out to me on 12/19/2022 4 days after the incident I sent over a detailed statement explaining what happened and extensive photos of the damage their provider caused. I was then asked to send over a repair estimate on 12/20/2022 and I sent that ton 12/22/2022 after having the vehicle towed to the qualified repair facility and being given the estimate. I have not received any response after sending over the requested estimate and I need this issue resolved because I had to pay out of pocket $2,323.59 for something that was caused by the provider Allstate Motor Club sent to do a tire change. Im looking to be refunded for this given that it was not my fault I need to have this settled as soon as possible. My family pay an annual fee to Allstate Motor Club to keep the membership active (Membership ID *******************. My daughter called ************** after her car battery died while in ************, ** on Monday 11/28/2022. She spoke with the Motor Club and gave them the membership info to schedule the appointment for 9am on Tuesday 11/29. She was called at 7am on 11/29 for a credit card to charge $89.00, and was told Allstate MC would service her until receiving payment. She informed them that there was a $150 benefits balance on our Roadside Assistance account, as demonstrated in one of the attachments provided here. The services were assigned to Auto Rescue of ************ ************** and they assisted with the jumpstart, and her card was subsequently charged $89.00. When she attempted to contact customer service on Thursday 12/01, she was then denied information from the Motor Club *************) and was told that either myself or my wife would have to contact them. I called on 12/05/2022 but the customer service department was not open at the time to speak to someone regarding these charges. I called again on 12/13 and spoke with an Allstate representative named ****, who informed me that these charges were a mistake and that a refund of $89.00 would be returned, and was informed to wait for a link via email after 24 hours of our phone call to fill out a claim online and get the process started. No link was sent to my inbox and I waited over 72 hours to ensure it had not gone to my spam box, but that was not the case. I called again on 12/19 at around 3:30pm and spoke to another Allstate Representative named *****, who apologized for the mistake and asked to wait for a link after another 24 hours. More days have passed without any link given via email, and I called again on 12/27 but no representative answered. We've been misinformed several times now and wrongly charged for services despite our membership, and would like to find a resolution to this issue.Business Response

I apologize for the delayed response but do want to clarify that the complaint has not been resolved.We received an unprompted call on or around 1/10/2023 from Allstate in reference to the complaint we filed through BBB and were informed that we would be receiving a check in the mail to reimburse the mis-charged funds from the incident in November. We confirmed our mailing address with the representative on the phone and were told to expect a check in **** business days.No such check from Allstate has arrived at our home since we received this phone call. Additionally, I received an email on 1/26/2023 asking for feedback from customer service in regards to the reimbursement check that was supposedly issues on 1/11/2023. I have had my membership for about 8 years Saturday December 31st 2022 I called the Allstate Motor Club to get my car towed from ********** to *********** because my car broke down about 5:00 p.m on that day the first tow company confirmed then cancel. Then at 7:10 p.m. I got a call from Allstate that they found another tow company to do the job but I will have to wait until 5:26 a.m. to get picked up so I had to spend money on a hotel to stay overnight but with 5:26 a.m. came the tow company never showed up they called two other companies within the next couple hours and they both confirmed but then decided to cancel. Mind you I'm 96 Mi away from my home I had to find my way back home and my brother had to go with me back up to ********** with his trailer and get the car. The Allstate Motor Club it's not reliable their providers can cancel on you at any time or if they just can't find a provider for you then you're out of luck even though you pay for the membership.Business Response
