DO NOT BUY Allstate Roadside Assistance, even if you have Allstate Insurance. We have been loyal customers of Allstate Insurance for both homeowner's and auto insurance since 1992. I enrolled in Allstate Roadside Assistance since we had been with Allstate for insurance, thinking all roadside assistance plans must be pretty similar. I should have checked the reviews.

My truck broke down on a stretch of Route 58 in Courtland VA that the locals call Suicide Strip, due to all the fatalities. I spoke with a Roadside Assistance agent for 16 minutes and all he could offer was to tow my truck to a Dairy Queen 7 miles away. A DAIRY QUEEN. I agreed and waited. 45 minutes later, the app said they were still looking for help with the tow.

I called a friend with a tow dolly, who lives 2 hours away. They agreed to come get me, so I called Roadside Abandonment again and they had no record that I had ever requested the tow, despite the 16 minute phone call. My friends drove the 4 hours round trip and the next morning, I called Roadside Assistance again from the comfort of my home, to get the truck towed 3 miles to our mechanic. When I called on Monday to cancel the membership, Jim from the Loyalty Dept said they had no record of my truck being towed. One has to wonder what they are doing.

Do yourself a favor and find a roadside assistance plan that offers 100 mile or unlimited towing to an actual service center (NOT a Dairy Queen) and will actually arrive to pluck you and your vehicle safely from Suicide Strip.

Been fighting to get my $71 refunded. Was told it was refunded to AMEX ******************************************** my household. One *** even tried to blame the changed credit card on my spouse who has NO credit cards. I asked for a letter with the discounted price over three weeks ago which I was told would be delivered in 7-10 days. I call the company about every 10 days trying to get the letter or a refund. I was told to dispute it with my credit card company which is a problem because I don't have a letter with the discounted price. **************** is horrible and full of liars. I wouldn't be surprised if they refunded the money to themselves. I called in the last time and was immediately put on hold after giving my info. She came back on the line to say her supervisor said the refund went to my AMEX card. I tell EVERY *** our household never had an AMEX card. **** get quiet....eventually transfer me somewhere...sometimes to the same department. Will NOT renew next year. Shouldn't have to beg for my money.

No stars absolutely a joke for roadside. Stranded in MIDDLE of street for 5hours as a woman. The guy cancelled the request he said that he didn't feel safe. A grown "MAN" lol. In good hands with who?

I called today when I was broke down and the recording told me to download the app. I have cars behind me and police trying to help. I ended up calling my dealership and using a company they recommended. Sure glad it wasn't winter!

I had this service for a few years, and only used it 2-3 times. The service was ok, but response was slow. Expect a few hours for a tow. My main problem was trying to cancel the service. The first time I called to cancel I was told I'd get a confirmation letter in 7-10 business days. After two weeks no letter. I called a second time and the woman who answered was helpful and cancelled my membership. She did say at the time of the call my membership had NOT been cancelled even though I had supposedly cancelled it two weeks earlier. Because I was skeptical I called the next day to check the status of my membership, and the woman did confirm it had been cancelled, but when I asked if there was any sort of confirmation number she hung up on me. All in all, terrible customer service. After this review is done I am going to my bank to make sure they do not allow Allstate to automatically take and money from my account.

This company billed me monthly for service but then denied me support that was supposed covered when I had a flat tire. They never provided me with an invoice for the extra money I had to pay for the tire so that I could receive a reimbursement. They are a fraud.

Horrible customer service. Called for a winch-out, they said they were transferring me to rescue. Went to an automated line, which took me to a person that had no idea what I was talking about. Asked me for a PO#, my adjusters name, etc. This happened 3 times. Finally hung up, called back, and got ***** who got the winch-out scheduled. Tow truck gets, they had not been told it was a winch-out. I'm going back to AAA.

On 11/28/23 I was speaking with my Allstate agent and we talked about the motor club options. He was saying how great they were, how they covered more than the roadside on my car insurance plan did, so I had him remove the coverage I had for a year (and have never used) and added these guys online. I got an email confirmation, they took $7.42 from my checking and we were good. On 11/30 I was 1 hr 10 mins from home with my friend and our 11 and 12 year old daughter's and I had a flat tire (screw). I went on the app and it said my account was closed. I called customer service and they were closed, it was 715pm cst and the website said they were open until 8pm cst. So I called to get someone to change my tire, gave my info and he said he was seeing the same, that my account was closed, but didn't have access to why. After 15 mins he said I could pay the $98 and call customer service and if they can verify coverage i can file a claim and get reimbursed. We waited 90 mins and it took the guy 25 to change the tire. Very nice guy. We didn't get home until 11pm. Called the next day and had to explain my situation 3 times. First 2 I said what happened and then the reps stopped responding. The 3rd time I was told it was canceled because my email, MY EMAIL IVE HAD FOR OVER 15 YEARS, was deemed SUSPICIOUS! WTF? So they canceled my policy, no one called, nothing! The rep filed something and said it would be 5-7 business days. I use that email for every account I have an online account set up, even for my Allstate car insurance so idk what the f*** the issue is? I've had roadside with progressive for 12 years prior and never in my life have ever used it, the only time I've ever needed it and these a******* canceled it! Even tho Allstate and Allstate motor club are different companies, I will be looking at my options for car insurance. I gave up progressive after 12 years bc Allstate was saving money and after a year, this policy period for car (6mo) and home(12mo) went up $400!
