      BEWARE!!! THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HONOR MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES!!!I had King out this week for an emergency after my warrantied Rheem water heater sprung a leak and flooded my entire basement. *** the field manager, tried to sell us a $2000 water heater by telling us that our Rheem was not warrantied. He explained that the warranty only covers one tank replacement and we already had a tank replacement 1 year after the original install. THIS IS FALSE!I escalated this issue to another manager, ***, who tried to tell me the same thing. I started to read the warranty to him from my paperwork and he got upset, told ME to calm down, and said I dont need you to read it to me. He then said he would look into whether the warranty was still valid.After not receiving a call back and verifying myself that the warranty was valid, I called him back to see what they planned on doing for me. *** said that they would do the warranty replacement, but it would cost me $1250 in labor! That was his discounted price from $1395. Ridiculous!! Just for reference, I called three other places on Rheems warranty service list and all three of those companies gave me a warranty replacement labor cost of $****** make matters even worse, when I tried to reason with *** that we were already $6,000 in debt from the basement flooding caused by this tank, he laughed at me. I mentioned that we didnt own the home when the original install was made and he laughed and told me that he didnt have to do anything to help me then and that the warranty is not transferable. Again, THAT IS FALSE. I have already confirmed with Rheem that it is warrantied, I registered the unit, and received an RGA# for replacement. ALSO, I called King pretending to be someone else from a different number and they confirmed that WARRANTIES ARE TRANSFERRABLE.This company is shady and needs to be held accountable for their poor practices.

      A few weeks ago I had water in my basement due to a hole in my mechanical plug and a blockage in my overhead sewer. They were able to replace the cap but then said I needed to have the sewer rotted. After a failed attempt to rot out the sewer, they came upstairs and said the ran 135' of cable and were unable to clear the pipe; causing additional backup of the sewer. They then informed me that I needed to get someone out with a camera which would cost me about $2,500. After speaking with a plumber who specializes in SEWERS not just plumbing, he stated that "if they ran 135' of cable, they would be 1/2 way to downtown". He indicated that there are plumbers and there are sewer plumbers and they are two completely different demons. Also, I was charged for their services but they didn't complete the job. A week later, I had another plumber come and when he opened the overhead sewer, he could see the blockage. After a few hours, he was able to completely clear the pipe. I feel that if this job was out of their scope of experience, they should have not attempted it. Charged me $400 and then they new plumber (who cleared the pipe) charged me $350 and he completed the work. Disappointed for sure.

      I have used King Heating for over 10 years at two different residences and they never cease to amaze me with their service. Over the years I have interacted with ***** ******** who helped me replace my furnace in January of 2024. He brought in space heaters for us to use until they could get there the next day to do the install and there was no pressure to go with them, however, they offered the best option for me and I was very comfortable with the zero interest finance option! The installation of the furnace and ac unit I purchased went very smoothly and I was more than pleased. I did have a few issues that I had to call about and they were immediately addressed and resolved. The technicians are always very professional and curtious. Since that time I have used their free plumbing assessment and found that my hot water heater was not only very aged, but that it was a hazard and required replacement. I again received top notch treatment. Pricing and options were provided and I did make a purchase. The installation again went very smoothly and I was very satisfied with the service.I recently interacted with ***** Springs for a quote to replace an old electric baseboard heater that is mounted into the wall in my laundry room. He provided me back quotes for the work which I waited on just a bit but decided to have done. When my regular ac service was performed by ***** *. We got talking about filters and the filter I was using vs what would be best to use and we then started talking about the filtration system that they offer. I was not aware of the filter system but was aware of the other items we discussed. At the end of the day I ended up having him call to have them add the system to my existing credit. ***** didnt start the conversation as a sales pitch and there was no pressure to make a purchase. ***** S was my install technician and was fabulous! I cant say enough about him. 5 PLUS STARS! Thank you ***** and **** for taking care of your customers!

      I had a tech come out to look at my furnace after a power outage on 1-15-25. He determined that the whole heating element needed to be replaced costing $1,100. I asked could the small part that wasn't working be replaced to which he replied no, the whole heating element needed to be replaced. I took all the info down because I was going to look into filing a claim with Comed. The next day they called saying they need to come back out and look at my furnace again. This time they said they can just replace the small part that wasn't working which is the thermal fuse or fusible link and they need to clean my evaporator coil or they won't give a warranty on the thermal fuse. The cost would be $759. I asked why was the cleaning of the evaporator coil not mentioned the first time and they had no response. How does a professional not know that the fuse could be replaced by itself and then they try to charge for another service that wasn't mentioned the first time. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of a single mom in the dead of winter knowing the temp was about to drop drastically in the next few days. I was disgusted with this company and would not recommend their service to anyone.

      Our Furnace was not working and after **** (tech) performed a diagnostic check, concluded that the heat exchanger was damaged and harmful CO2 would risk our home. He showed me digital pictures and after discussion it was determined that the furnace needed to be replaced. **** showed me options and instead of waiting until Monday for installation, he arranged a Saturday installation-no additional cost. ******* works great, runs very quite and were very satisfied.We have been King heating and cooling customers for over 25 years and they never disappoint!

      I called and was able to get a same day service appointment for no heat in my home.
      I had Alex as my Technician and he was great! Very knowledgeable and professional.
      This was the second time I’ve used King heating and cooling and plumbing
      And I will use them again.

      King is fantastic. If Costco backs them up that says a lot right there. My technician John H. was excellent and so professional. Explains everything with all the pictures of your system. Highly recommend.

      In the summer of 2024, I contacted KING **** on twice. The first one was on May 22nd, to remove the existing transformer and wiring, and to install a new transformer and necessary wiring. Also, test the system for proper operation. The service cost me ******. The second was on June 20th to replace a single-run capacitor 25+ mfd. This cost was ******. The total for these services cost me ******. The same technician ***** did these repairs. During his visit he started promoting a new **** unit for ******. He requested that I allow him to process my wife's and my credit scores to check our eligibility. I mentioned that I have a son in college. When my wife and I credit score was denied, he requested that we use our sons credit score. I'm uncomfortable with him asking me this question, and said no. During my conversation with him, he said that the repairs would fail. I asked why. He said the condensation of water would accumulated and cause the capacitor and cause it to malfunction. Then he insisted using our sons credit finance. When he checked the thermostat it was 84 degrees. After I paid for the service, the temperature went to 84 degrees. I called him and informed that his repairs did not work. He reiterated that he knew that the service would not work. I mentioned that he and his company must inform the client the service would fail before they do the work. That I should not be charged and the work should not have been done. I contacted KING on June 21st and complained the poor service and demanded a refund. Representative told me that a manager would be in contact. Later that morning ***** called me to ask what was going on. I told him the service did not work and requested a refund. He requested that we use my son credit to finance a unit. I insisted that he never mention that topic. He informed me that he would contact a manager and someone would be in contact on June 27th.

      Had them come out to give me a quote on a new Heating and Cooling system, after a week I called and asked for the price, and was told someone would reach out. After 2 weeks I reached back out and was told the same. Dont waste your time, if you need quick service. If you cant do the job, tell someone. Go with someone local not this company.
