This is such an in-depth issue with a very long time line. I’d like to make a couple statements to begin by saying I’ve been exceedingly patient and cordial through the entire process. I would like to state that, while I’ll be going through the entire situation, all I wanted was for the seller agent and his contractor to install the chimney liner. That’s it bottom line. I would also like to say there has been a lot of fabricating so I can only share what I know to be true on my end.
I signed for my house in March 2022. I believe it was the 10th or 11th. Prior to signing there were inspections done that found moisture in ceiling. Roof Tiger and Real Estate Contracting Company were hired. I viewed house before closing and leak still persisted. In order to close on time my agent and their agent set up that a set amount would be put into my escrow for the chimney liner and other repairs to be completed prior to us moving in on March 19th. The work wasn’t completed on time. Contracting company kept coming over every day and redoing the plaster but still the ceiling leaked. I contacted RT and spoke to them and they told me what happened originally and came back to fix their original chimney repair on roof. That stopped the leaking and **** from Contracting Company completed plaster but didn’t do liner. Now he’s been telling me he’ll send me money to have Trouble Free install it but hasn’t sent it. I have damage to the plaster he fixed because the liner wasn’t installed. The money was never put in my escrow. It was stolen supposedly by the seller agent. This is a disaster and I just want the liner installed bottom line. I’m being told to get a lawyer and I did nothing wrong here. I’m growing tired of the nonsense.

      Business Response

Hello, this issue is for work that was to happen after the closing of the home. A couple repairs had happend, causing the need for additional work that I'm told wasn't part of the repairs at the time of the sale or after. I'm told a HVAC guy was to install a liner, I was also told roof tiger was to install the liner, but then told **** was to install the liner. The short response is **** was sending the buyer (complainant) $300.00 via paypal so the buyer could have the work completed. The buyer didn't have their paypal account setup to received the funds, but I'm told now they have been sent and the buyer of the home has those funds. That should take care of the buyers complaint.
