      I have been trying since April to acquire a refund of $200, the said they deliver the check and they never did. When I call they always tell me that I have to wait 30 days to get the check and if I didn't get it to call back. I have been doing this for about 4 months and I haven't received anything yet.

      Can anyone please ask Discover to follow the Law? Are Discover allowed to force anyone to pay for a debt they didnt sign themselves? How does the law works? Please anyone.

      On 6/9/2022 I made a $250 deposit using my Discover Card for future surgery by Dr. *********************** at ************************** Before June 22, 2022 I learned the ************** left ****************** and would no longer be performing my surgery at their center and had moved to *********************** 's Body by Unique. I was told that my $250 deposit would be transferred to Unique Aesthetic, but it was not. I subsequently initiated a refund request with Discover Card Financial on 6/23/2022. I received a temporary credit which has since been reversed by Discover. Unique's Patient Portal had received a credit from ****************** that was reversed with Discover accepted fraudulent information from Prestige. I am proceeding with surgery at Unique Aesthetic to be performed by Dr. ************************ Prestige is unjustly benefiting from Discover's error in not properly crediting my card in the amount of $250.I am requesting a credit for the $250 erroneously paid to Prestige Aesthetics. I received no services from this entity and did not forfeit my deposit because I did not cancel my surgery. I am proceeding with surgery with Dr. *********************** as originally contracted at ***********************'s Body by Unique.

      I opened an account to do a balance transfer from *********** to Discover. In the process of doing so Discover did two identical balance transfersso now according to Discover I owe them double the original amount plus the transfer fees. My *********** account now shows a negative balance. I contacted Discover about their error and they refuse to simply reverse the duplicate and insist that I contact *********** to somehow get them to fix Discovers errorwhile paying Discover twice what my balance was to begin with. I escalated my call to a complaintbut have not heard back since.

      I opened an online checking account with Discover Financial Services. I electronically deposit my paycheck on August 5, 2022. Because I was classified by Discover as a new customer, I was informed by one of their banking specialist that I would have to wait an entire week for the check to clear, and the money would be available in my account on August 15, 2022. I was informed by a banking specialist with no reason given on August 12, 2022 that my account was being closed. I was told that I would have to wait 60 days for my funds to be returned to me.

      i mobile deposited my rent relief check with discover bank they said funds would be posted in 5 to 7 days it once it posted i tried to transfer my funds to a verified external account eveyrthing seems fine next day got a email saying the transfer was stopped and cal discover so i did they asked me a tons of things so handle that then i tried again to transfer funds it was denied again so again i called discover security **** she tells me upload my id and ss and then call back and we can take the next steps to unlock my account so called back and was told account gas been closed and it was a business decision call back after 60ndays and request a check but while this is going on i have an eviction notice the check if from covid 19 rent relief i callled the check to verify its cleared to discover on the 18th of july one customer service lady said something with my address didnt match but while all this is going on im getting mai from discover with banking information

      Very disappointed in this company. Which is a shame, because I loved my Discover card. This review is long overdue. At first I did not write a review, because I was trying to keep my self in a peaceful place while sorting my own personal matters out. I loved this card, it was my favorite card. Some time last year, I fell into a financial hardship from my businesses, and fell behind. I decided to look for work using my Accounting degree to restructure my self financially. However, this took longer than I expected and I had to max out cards to live on. I am now working and making really good money, and I am just so annoyed that this card was closed down. Especially when this could have been avoided, had the DISCOVER representatives handled my account properly. While I was looking for work. I got calls from Discover several times, several times. They left no messages. At the time while not having the funds for basic bare necessities, I choose to not answer most of these calls. However, a few times DISCOVER was able to get a hold of me and we discussed the obvious regarding the delinguency of my card. I expressed to them my hardship and what was going on. The only thing I was ever advised about was the time frame I had to make payments before the card was closed which at that time was about 2 months away. I wasn't aware that at the time I had a rewards credit of almost $400.00. This amount would have not only brought me current, but would have saved me from my card shutting down. At no time, NO TIME was I informed HEY *******, DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A COUPLE HUNDRED OF DOLLARS IN REWARDS, THAT YOU CAN APPLY TO YOUR ACCOUNT THAT WOULD COVER THE PAST DUE AND BRING YOU CURRENT. No time. So again their reps called me and called me, left no messages and when they were able to get me on the phone. Was no help at all, only discussed what was due and the period I had to get caught up in. Again mind you, the amount I had in rewards would have covered what was due to bring

Discover actually closed my account due to not receiving identify verification. Which I had no idea I had to submit.
