    On March 17th, the owner, ******* ********, came out and told my husband it would be $300 to fix our washer. He wanted the amount in full. My husband wrote him a check for $200. No receipt was given, but we do have a copy of the check. ******* said he would order the parts and be back on the 19th. On March 19th, ******* said he was unable to order the parts due to not getting the model number of the washing machine. My husband sent him a text with the model number twice. ******* was supposed to be back on the 21st. My husband reached out to him multiple times. When ******* finally responded, he said he couldnt come out. He was then supposed to show up on Tuesday the 25th. By the afternoon of the 25th, he didnt show up or respond to my husbands contacts. At that time, we looked up his business and reviews. He has several poor reviews. Many of the reviews are almost identical to our story. People are complaining of him taking advantage of the elderly. I contacted ******* leaving him a voicemail and also a text message. He finally called me, because he was upset I called him a scammer and con man. We had to two phone conversations. ******* was rude and called me names. In the second, he agreed to send $100 back to us. We have not received the $100. I feel strongly this man is taking advantage of people by stealing their money and not providing the service he claims.

    On Dec 16 ***** Initially I gave this guy ******* ******* 5 star..I contacted him to repair my dryer. I paid $300 deposit and he came back a few days later replace the part and my dryer began working so I paid the $100 balance (total cost was $400). I was so happy my dryer was working I paid him another$300 deposit to fix my refrigerator(Total cost for repair$450) on Dec 16, 2024. Well.the very next morning my dryer stopped working. When I notified him he said he will look at it when he repair my refrigerator. 3 weeks later he has not fixed my dryer or refrigerator. After contacting him several times to get timeframe on when he will complete the repairs he continues to make excuse on why it isnt complete. I was referred to him by another business that I conducted business with for years. He was paid a deposit and I have yet to receive services. I had to call from different numbers just to get him to answer my call, only hear more excuses and still no time or date to repair my appliances.

    We needed our refrigerator repaired. I went down ****** and just started calling places. This was the first one to answer so I scheduled the appointment. He showed up over an hour after the 4 hour window he gave me. Immediately rude and berated me for buying the brand I bought. Said he had to order the part it would be in in 2 days and he'd be out the following week to install. Made me pay $400 up front. We didn't hear back until my partner called him a week later. He claimed to have been calling me but then gave my partner the wrong number. They scheduled a time for him to return when my partner was available so he could deal with this guy. He called me instead of my partner 20 minutes before he was supposed to show up the second time to say they sent the wrong part. And he was reordering it, paying for faster shipping and he'd have it by Saturday and would be there either Saturday or Sunday to install. No word again for several days. Finally came out after my partner called again and installed the part. He also left the wrong one with us. Charged another $200 and told me he'd have an electric receipt for me by the end of the day. No receipt came, we called repeatedly for the receipt he stopped answering or responding. Finally after my partner went to the address listed and spoke to him in person he agreed to come back out to look. Called 10 minutes before that appointment to say it's not repairable. Still waiting on a valid receipt or refund.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I informed you when I called to schedule the initial repair that I had a warranty and I needed an itemized receipt. Both myself and my husband have been attempting to contact you for weeks, including several phone calls and text messages before the holiday wich were ignored or dodged. It took me calling you from a different number for you to actually answer and as soon as I said who I was suddenly you were too busy to take the call. I contacted you again that same night and was sent straight to voicemail so I followed up with a text. You have been dodging both of us for weeks before he finally knocked on your door. That's when you claimed you were going to come back out Sunday and then decided you were just going to mark it as unrepairable after you asked me who the warranty company was. The reason you've had to revise the receipt multiple times is because 1) you have my name wrong, 2) it's full of mistakes 3) you make a fraudulent claim in the first draft stating you took steps to repair the issue that you DID NOT take and 4) the business information listed on the receipt is NOT the registered business you are working under. The address listed is for a laundromat. The warranty company will not accept it. You are a flat out liar and I have text transcripts to prove it.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    You are a liar, scam artist and a fraud and you call anyone who dares to call you on your garbage crazy. I went back and forth with you and the warranty company for weeks, with me submitting every "receipt" you sent me as invalid. They finally approved the claim for replacement of the refrigerator when I sent them copies of the text messages from both myself and my husband requesting a valid receipt. The screenshots included me literally sending you the entire email from them stating why they rejected the receipt. I told you numerous times you had incorrect and incomplete information in the receipt, including spelling my name wrong. The business information listed on the receipt does not match any records or your ****** listing. The business name on the receipt says Appliance Repair Services with an address listed for a laundromat. The checks I wrote were to Factory Appliance Repair. That's fraud. Your initial receipt even claims in your own words that you replaced a component that you didn't replace and when I stated that I would not submit something that was untrue your response to me was "you have the other part" because you left it at my house. You are a very poor excuse for a scam artist and you owe me for the money I paid you to fix my refrigerator, which you didn't fix.

    Refrigerator repair service call 7/29/24. I was told provider would arrive between 11:00 and 3:00pm. Received a call at 2:05 stating he would arrive in about an hour, arrived at 3:20. We spoke on the phone twice about the problem before he arrived. He explained what he thought the problem was. After inspecting the part in question he felt indeed thats what needed to be replaced. He did not have the part with him. He made a phone call in my presence asking for the part to be sent to him. He told me the bill *************** would be $400. dollars and he would come back today 8/2/24 to install the part. He said he would need a check for $300. I wrote him a check and confirmed his appointment of 8/2/24 between 11:00 & 3:00pm. At 3:00pm today after a no show no call, I called the company to ask what happened. The person I talked to wasnt aware of the appointment. I explained the appointment details from 7/29/24, and was then told they must not have received the parts. I explained it was poor business not communicating the problem to me. He stated he would call me Monday 8/5/24 to let me know if parts came in. This was rude, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I would like to get my $300. back and not do business with this company. I checked my account and they cashed the check 7/31/24. I suspect I might not see them again.

    On April 4th my husband went on the internet looking for a company to come and repair the water dispenser on our refrigerator. They set up an appointment and came to our house on April 8th 2024. ****** showed up in a plain unlicensed minivan with a backpack on his back. He came in took a picture of the refrigerator code and claimed he knew what was wrong and requested $250.00 to buy the part. He was supposed to return that following week but we never seen him again and still havent seen him. It is now Monday June 3rd. He called Monday April 15th claiming the he had pneumonia and he would be here the next day to repair it. We said ok but we wanted him to bring the receipt showing how much he paid for the part . He became angry an hung up. Once again no show. So I texted him asking for my money to be refunded. I call my lawyer . He wrote him a letter. He also told me to call the Attorney General and file a complaint. He received the letter from the lawyer and called us on Wednesday April 24th again claiming that he had pneumonia. He claimed that he had the part in the car and he could fix it now. By that time the trust was gone. We didnt trust him Im our home . We are senior citizens and have to be careful. We just wanted our money back. He said he would return our money but he had to charge us for a service call. We said ok but once against no show. We call another company he charged us $129.00 to repair the water dispenser . The part costed us $19.80. We are home so he cannot pretend that he came over and we were not home. I warned everyone especially the the senior citizens do not hire this company. What business person just come to someones home and take money and do no service and never return it. SCAM ARTIST!!! We all need to join forces and end this game.

He hasnt made any effort to return our money. I am rejecting his response until the money is in my hands. In all of this time he could have put it in my mailbox or he could have mailed it to us.     Approximately 3 weeks ago- end of March 2024 I contacted Factory Appliance to come and repair my dishwasher-He came and started taking it apart - I told him it was leaking on the left front corner- He was a rude person - He told me It was the pump- ran the dishwasher a bit- yes definitely the water pump- as he was leaving I ask if he will call me when the part comes in- He rudely says I dont gave time to call my customers - You can call me to find out if its in- that I thought was very bad business - He did call and said he was coming to put yhe pump in- He gets in the bottom of my driveway and calls me to say he forgot the water pump- we reschedule- another week goes by-he comes with pump- starts to remove pieces and says - did you know theirs a leak- I say I told you that was the reason I called you in the first place- He then says he has to find this part to the heating element - The man said he had been sick and I felt bad for him - I said ok -Take your time- Its been this long already another week wont matter- He finally called me , said he had gotten the part in - Scheduled to come back tuesday 4/22/24- Said he show between 8-12- 1:35 I txt him - whats going on - What delay this time? No response- He never showed - never called meat least not until I put on a bad review- As Im writing this he is texting me to take the bad review down - saying he wont do the repair if I dont and Now he is calling me- I do not want this man back on my property( His name is *******- I do not trust him at all

    Good afternoon this is speech to text she's a liar I went there to fix it I ordered the pump I came back to put the pump in and there was another problem with the dishwasher I had to get some specialty bolts for her I told her I would pay for them and I would order them that she didn't have to pay for anything else those parts finally came in she told me that she didn't care when I came back as long as I came back all the parts are there the pump is even at her house I left it there for her so no she's not getting a refund if she wants it fixed I'll be glad to go there and fix it but other than that she is not getting a refund I have a lot of work in this in this job for her and all she wants to do is complain

    I am rejecting this response because:  I reject the business response! I highly doubt he would show to do the repair  just as he didnt show before. This man cannot be trusted , he is rude and  is not telling you the whole truth. Not once did he enter my house  with any tools! He never attempted to put in the used rusted  water pump that he handed to me. He charged me $100 for that used pump! He then finds another part that needs to be replaced.  The amount of time he spent looking at my dishwasher was no more than 10 minutes each time if that for the two visits. Please  see all the information to support this in my last email-Please read the reviews. They all have the same experiences I had. Im not a liar as he stated. Im not concerned about my $200 loss. I want him stopped from doing this to anyone else. I attached all the info in the previous email I sent to BBB . So yes ! I REJECT  HIS RESPONSE

    Ive sent everything I have for proof this man is NOT SPEAKING THE ****** He came to my house 2 times approximately no longer than ***** min each time- The day he claims he was at my house in between those two times , he never came in - Said he forgot the water pump.I may be very well Angry as he says Now. All because of the way he runs his business. Ive done my part here to let you people know this man is a *****.That you continue to send our responses back and forth to each other is not helping this situation at all. His word against mine ? I didnt even see those bad reviews on him until I had dealt with already for about 3-4 weeks trying to get this dishwasher fixed.He will continue to come back with making his stories up about me. I have no doubt He will continue to rip innocent people off. Like I said , Ive done my part reporting him to you and the Attorney General of Ill.     On March 27, 2024, ******* came to repair the ice machine in our refrigerator and the dishwasher. Ahead of the visit, we ordered parts. Upon his arrival, he informed that we had the wrong parts. He charged us $600 for the correct parts and his service. However, the parts he ordered were incorrect. Indeed, he did not fix either the dishwasher nor the ice machine. Now, the ice machine doesnt dispense ice nor water. He has left us in a worse condition. Unfortunately, we did not view Yelp ahead of retaining this business. This individual has scammed a multitude of seniors, including us. He has cashed the checks paid to him and is not responding to our inquiries. We are seeking a full refund of $600. He did not perform the requested services and has further damaged our appliances.

    We contacted ***************************** at Factory Appliance repair to fix our refrigerator. He required a $600 deposit for parts. He has not come back to fix the refrigerator. When we call him he does not show up. He makes constant excuses. He was given a check on 1/31/24 for $600

    I called Factory Appliance Repair on Dec 15, 2023 to request repair of my ** refrigerator that quit working. The man from Factory Appliance Repair never did any real check of the refrigerator- just opened the door and said it needed a new compressor and control board. The man from Factory Appliance Repair charged $500 for labor which I gave him a check for. The check was cashed right away per my bank records. He said he would get the parts from **. Then he said after calling ** that the parts and labor was covered under warranty. On Jan 5, **** -called him to find out what was going on, as we had never heard back from him. He claimed ** never sent him the parts/info he needed. So we called ** directly and found out that ** had indeed sent him the info he needed, but he never ordered the parts. He never came back to do the repair. We asked for a refund, which he told us he would send, however, no refund has ever been sent. I would like a refund of the money he took.

    He already told us he would send a refund back on Jan 10 and still no refund. Also ** said they sent him the info he needed but wouldnt approve his exorbitant fee of $950 for labor. He didnt DO any repairs

    On 11/16/23 I looked online for a dishwasher repair services and called ************. My call was then directly connected to a local repair service. The person who answered the phone said his name was *****. On 11/17/23 ***** came to my home, looked at my dishwasher and told me it needed a new computer board. ***** stated the cost for the repair would be $350 and that I needed to give him $250 in advance to order the part and pay the remaining $100 once the machine was fixed. He came back a few days later, installed the part and the machine did not work. He said the other computer board needed to be replaced. He said he would order the other part. On 11/29/23 I followed up with ***** to check on the status of the part. When he answered the phone he identified himself as **** with Appliance Repair Services. I stated I had been working with a person by the name of *****. **** says he is ***** that his name is ************************* and goes by both names. ****/***** said he had not ordered the part and would that day and let me know once he ordered it. I have not heard back and left another message. I have since gone on line and read the many negative reviews! He has done the same thing to many people where he takes money up front only to never be seen again! ****/***** needs to be shut down and no longer allowed to operate his scam of a business. His number is ************. Thank you for your assistance.
