    I connected with this repair place through Appliance Pros, a referral service. My regular and trusted appliance repair does not work on ***** dishwashers unfortunately. Came out and told me I needed a new drain pump. Only took cash payment. Started a cycle and left. When dishwasher continued to not drain texted him immediately, and he said he would come back on Monday. Did not return, did not respond to texts or calls. This was right before Thanksgiving. ***** came and saved the day. it was just a kinked and clogged drain hose. Never needed the new pump. Expensive ******* I would NOT recommend this company.

    They took my $400 deposit for parts and never returned to do service on my washer. After many calls n texts he finally responded and promised to come n do service but then never showed. Now will not return calls or texts

    My experience with Factory Appliance Repair Service (****) was the worst. This guy came into my house, took my refrigerator apart, took some pictures, said I needed a new fan and heater, pretended to order some parts on his cell phone, told me the total bill would come to $600 but would require a $400 deposit. He didn't write anything up or give me a receipt and yet I still trusted him and handed over a check for $400 - bad on my part! He used my bathroom and took a s*** without flushing. He said he would return in 2 days but never showed, cashed my check and ignored my many text messages. I called the Loves Park Police and the officer that came to my door told me that he had delt with Factory Appliance Repair guy (****, ******* and/or ****) just 3 months prior. Too bad I didn't read all these bad reviews prior to handing over my $400. I hope someone reads this before they hire this *****. I am filing a report in Small Claims Court for a civil suit in hopes the courts will shut this guy down for good before he does this to others!

    I hate to do this to this man and his company but I needed to get this out of my system and save others that might fall through this: This is a sad review concerning this company (Factory Appliance Repair). They required $700 before ordering the parts of our broken refrigerator. We gave the check (5/23/24) and they cashed it two days after. The service man came back a week later to install the new part and he discovered he ordered the wrong one. He said he will be back with the right part in a week or so. We contacted him after but no answer. Right now ( we bought a new fridge but we are trying to get our $700 back in *******. It's coming up 11 weeks since we faced with this situation. Please be aware of some sad and sick characters out there who operate their businesses with no conscience of hurting other people in our community.

    This company is terrible. They have completely taken advantage of my elderly grandparents, who are not tech savvy. They have charged them $200, still have not fixed their dishwasher and called one time at 7am to schedule the appointment but left no message and never called back. When I called to speak to **** and figure this out for them, he stated it was the clients responsibility to coordinate delivery and told me they don't get notified or call their clients when a part is in. He then stated they would only be refunded $50 of the $200 they've already paid even though he stated their service fee was $130. My grandparents have hired another company which will cost them again for the same service and part and delay their dishwasher being repaired another several weeks. I tried to speak kindly and reason with ****. I provided him with factual data. He refused to refund them fully and was adamant that he has a legal right to charge for a service fee and no obligation to let people know when their part is in. This is awful customer service and frankly, despicable in my opinion to treat elderly people this way. DO NOT use this company. Please read their numerous other reviews where they pulled this same trick on customers. I wish zero stars was an option.

    DO NOT USE- He Riped me off of three hundred dollars. Which he said I had to write a check. He didn't even take apart my dishwasher to look at-bought the part by sound, but did open it look at it. I'm not a repair person. Bought the part said it would be in in 2 weeks; 1 month later part came in. I think the only reason he came out was because my husband called & text several times. He did not install. He never had any intention of installing he looked at my applicance when he ordered the part. He proceeded to BS about my dishwasher installation. My dishwasher was installed 5 years ago. Left the part and said he would put in if I pulled the dishwasher out. I had to pay another installer, he removed 1 screw, no issues, said the guy was awful for saying that and should not be in business said he feed me a line because he didn't want to do it & kept my money. He needs to give me my money back!

    Run away from this business. I had ****** come to fix my refrigerator he said it was two different things wrong with it and my refrigerator was a expensive refrigerator and it would be better to fix it instead of buying a new one. He asked for deposit of 300 and he would be back with parts. He came back said he replaced the part. The refrigerator wasn't working. So I called him back he said he thought the parts was defective. And he would order other parts. We waited two weeks for him to come back. By this time my husband and I have had it. He finally came back and said he replaced the parts again and he doesn't know what is wrong with the refrigerator. So we called another refrigerator repair guy. We'll the parts that ****** said he replaced he didn't our refrigerator was fixed in 10 minutes. This guy doesn't give you receipts and says he sent it to your email **** didn't asked for your email. That is so shady. Please stay away.

    Our washer was having trouble in the spin cycle. Technician came over and said it was a sensor on the keyboard that needed to be replaced. Said if he ordered the part that day it would be in on the following Tuesday. Needing a down payment of $208. I called that Tuesday, and the owner asked me for the model number so he could locate the part. I sent him a screen shot of the model number and that was the last I ever heard from the guy. I've tried calling and texting multiple times. I'll pay the $85 service visit fee and am just requesting the $123 be refunded. This negative writeup could have been avoided for $123. UPDATE: Turns out the washer just needed to be recalibrated. A 30-minute fix. The part that they said needed ordering wouldn't have fixed the problem.

    Terrible. He came. Made me pay upfront. Came back replaced one computer on dishwasher. Dishwasher lost power. After threatening to stop payment and have attorney call him, he came back with wrong part. Finally came with right part. No power to dishwasher. Only lost power after he replaced first part. Today said it was electrical issue. I just said ok forget it. $700 down the drain. I loved this dishwasher but I should have just bought a new one! He never returns calls or text. He blamed me cause he claims he came by and I wasnt home and that he called. No call on my recent call list. Do not use this guy. He was watching diy and made me turn electric on and off. Very rude. No communication.

    The company took advantage of my elderly mom that recently lost my father. What a terrible way to treat people. My mother trusted this man ****** into her home to be an honest person and to help a small business. Unfortunately he took her money and RAN!!!! STAY AWAY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIOR CITIZENS!! Sickening..
