    ***** daughter made an appointment with tattoo parlor to look at sore piercing. $30 feet to book. Receptionist told her that she could cancel up to 24 hours of appt. Daughter felt that receptionist was rude and decided not to go as she had lack of trust of establishment dues to rudeness. She asked for money back 4 days before appt and they are refusing to refund her. I called next day and explained the situation. Receptionist accused my daughter of lying and refused refund. She asked to speak to owner she said she is a manager and she handles disputes. Said the policy is written on website but my daughter did not have access to website when making the reservation and had no reason to check as she was told by receptionist that refunds were given if cancelled before 24 hours of appt.

    To put this simply, ****** ***** is a very rude person and a liar. 

    On 5/20/25 ******, Arlenes daughter did make an appointment for us to look at a problematic piercing that was done by ******* Tattoo about a month prior.

    At the time of booking our front of house manager explained our studio policies and requirements. And after this ****** decided to move forward with the booking. 
    Thanking us for being super helpful and for being willing to help with this as it was not from our studio. 

    on 5/21, ****** calls the studio to cancel the appointment and was then explained out studio policy for cancellations. At this point they go in to full ***** mode, screaming and threatening our front of house manager. 

    Our policy (which is stated on our website) was told verbally to both of them individually over the phone. All booking fees are non refundable, you are allowed 1 reschedule with at least 72 hours notice. If you cancel, reschedule with less then 72 hours notice or show up without photo ID the booking fee is forfeited and you would need to place a new booking fee to schedule.

    ****** was explained this prior to booking or us accepting any form of payment. They also had the chance to not make the payment as they paid via Zelle, after they talked to us on the phone. They choice to send the booking fee in by logging into a separate banking app and having to enter our details and choosing to hit send.

    It would seem ****** likes to try strong arming businesses to force their will by screaming and threatening people and when they do not get their way.

    it also seems ****** thinks this is our first day in business. But we have been in business for 19 years, the staff member that scheduled the appointment for them has been doing this job for over 8 years, we book approximately 1000 appointments a year, these appointments are all booked following studio protocols which include letting every client know all sales are final and they are not refundable, This was also stated on the receipt that was texted to ************ after confirmation (5:19pm on 5/19/25) of payment. And every client/booking is explained our policy and requirements needed for their specific appointment. Our staff is very well trained and do their job very well. Given the permanent nature of our business, we are sure to make sure every aspect is gone over in great detail everytime for every appointment. 

    These people have been fired in our system. We will not work with them in the future. And There will be no refunds. 

    We are noting in our system the continued harassment via phone and now through the BBB complaint. And as notice to the BBB and to ****** any further harassment via phone, text, email or any digital correspondence will be turned over to our legal team and will be dealt with by them and we will use the information provided in this complaint to do so.
