      On 4-11-2023 I allowed my mother to have tires installed and balanced on my 2020 Chevy Trax that has a little over 42,000 miles on the car. The tires that I was replacing was original GM factory tires and wheel weights. This was going to be my first replacement of tires. My brother is a employee at Salem tire he used his discount to get tires mounted and balanced! The vehicle is primarily used by my mother. The vehicle is registered to me because she is up in age and she needed something dependable to get her self and my father back and forth to medical appointments so I bought her a vehicle and just put it in my nameand my father's name. So whenever I need to use the car I use it but it is primarily my mother's vehicle. And when she had the work done she noticed the damage on the rims but didn't say nothing cause she didn't want to get any drama started for my brother at his job. She called me and told me what happened( rims was deeply scratched and chunks taken out in different places) I told her to take it back up there and say something. I called the tire shop and spoke with ****. He told me to bring it back up there and they would look at it. So she did. ***** ( I believe is his name)and manager ***** looked at it and ***** said he would send them off and have them powder coated it would take up to 2 weeks and it was going to cost him $500 and he walked away. I called ***** next day to see when we could schedule an appointment to get that done and he said nope not fixing it. I told him I would take him to small claims court if I had to and he said that's fine I have been told that you like to take people to court! So I tried to get a hold of owner **** ********* so I called the warehouse and talked to Neil he was suppose to give ***** the message and instead of ***** calling me ***** called my brother and there is no telling what my brother told ***** still no word from *****. I'm not happy! The car was in mint condition until Salem tire touched it!

      This issue has been resolved personally with the customer. Salem Tire has been in contact with the customer and arranged repairs according to her wishes.

      Everytime I call repair shop they say they haven't gotten funds from Salem tire. I'm tired of the back and forth with them. I need my rims fixed it has been going on for almost 2 months.

      We have approved the estimate from the alternative repair shop, with *****. Our understanding is that he should have arranged an appointment with Ms. ****** to have her vehicle in their shop to have the repairs done, and at that time we would get a final invoice from them to pay. Our shop has given every approval and promise to pay that is needed in order for the other repair shop to proceed with the repairs on the vehicle.
