Vinakom sent us the attached demand letter for damages to their fiber optic cables. This damage was caused by our contractor when he was making repairs to our fence. Vinakom was notified by ***** that there would be digging done on our property. They never contacted us, or our contractor before the work began. It was only after the damage occurred that they reached out to us. It has been determined that the lines they have buried, are on our "private property." They are not along an easement or public access area. We have tried to reason with the company and are being ignored. Our attorney has sent them a letter requesting that they resolve this matter with us directly. They have not responded to our requests. We are reaching out to you in the hopes that we can avoid further legal action to resolve this matter.Subject: Demand and Claim for Damages VINAKOM COMMUNICATIONS hereby submits this Demand and Claim for Damages (the Demand) in the amount of $12,254.00 as compensation for damages caused by ****** ********** to VINAKOM COMMUNICATIONS' property or assets. Complaint: 23205212

I am rejecting this response because:
    Sir,

The forwarded statement and document proves that the Village can not and did not authorize Vinakom to bury their lines on our "private property."

With that said, our request remains the same. We request that Vinakom:

*Provide us with documentation voiding their invoice to us for $12,254.00

*Move their lines to the appropriate "public access area" on our property, or remove their lines from our property all together.

*If Vinakom is unwilling or unable to relocate their lines, we will ask to be compensated at a rate of $1000.00 per month for every month their lines have been on our property, and for every month going forward.

In lieu of these options, we welcome any litigation that Vinakom would like to pursue. We will retain counsel upon their notification of taking legal action.

    Sincerely,

    ****** and ******** Washington
