      I called a towing on Friday and was given a specific price and then my credit card got charge 3 times the price given for the tow. I was told $200 for town but charge $723. I will be seeking legal actions on this.

      I called speedy G towing to tow my car 2 miles and I asked what the charge would be they said $95 +4 dollars a mile when they got here they charge me $293 and said its round-trip from their location to charge for mileage which they never told me I told him that wasnt right that I asked how much it would be and thats what they told me and they did not say that it was gonna be $298 so they said they could take my car to the impound if I dont pay what they want

      Called in to get our semi truck towed on 11/07/24 from *********, ** to ***********, IL for a total of 33miles. Was told on the phone that they charge $185 an hour and that the job would be approx. 2.5hrs. We agreed, and when they sent the truck. However, after hooking up our truck they sent in an invoice that showed $195/hr with a bunch of other fees that were not mentioned at all during the phone call for a total charged $1988.50 for 33 miles... and only wanted to get paid via Zelle...

      My young son had a flat tire and had no spare and called this speedy g. They quoted him on the phone 150 plus 4.00 a mile. They came out hooked the car up then told him the charge was ****** my son questioned the charge and driver said that's the charge. They towed it to the car shop which was 8 to 10 miles away.I have called speedy g for an explanation of why the quote was different and an explanation of the 20 percent fuel charge.This company is scammers and double charge consumers at people's mercy since once they got the car on there truck they demand payment. I have called the company on numerous times they either hang up on you or won't speak to you. I'm willing to pay the ****** but I expect a refund back

      This company clearly will lie about their charges. They told me $125 over the phone was their minimum. They moved a little scissor lift for me 5 miles and then wanted $440. They are RIPOFF artists with zero remorse. STAY COMPLETELY AWAY from this company. There should be laws against this.

      We paid $495/hr for a tow of a semi and $495/hr for our trailer. After we paid we looked at reviews. Three months ago they charged $395/hr. Five months ago it was $295/hr. They get horrible reviews, but when you are blocking ******* traffic in rush hour, what do you do? There was a cop sitting behind us with his lights on adding to the pressure of getting out of there. We have had many people tell us we were scammed, which we agree. I agree that we need to pay them for a tow, but they charge way too much.

      On 04/12/24 around 9:00am I called Speedy G Towing because my car wouldnt start, I called a few towing companies to get some estimates as it was a short tow to the place I have work on my car done which is no more then 2-3miles at most, they had the best quote I could find, they told me the fee was $125 and $4 per mile, so after they hooked up my car the driver told me he was having trouble submitting the payment and I should call myself and it should work, so when I called the person now told me the price was $240, when I asked about the quote I got beforehand he wouldnt really give a answer on why the quote was almost half of what they said I now owe them. Im so tired of people in the automotive field doing things like this, I mean how is this even legal. Luckily my mechanic gave me a card for a different towing company they do business with and said it probably would have only charged about $100 for a tow that short with them. Turned out the tow was the most expensive part, it was only $218 to have what was wrong fixed

      When contacted they stated it would be $250.00 per hour and no other charges were explained. No call was made when they they arrived and no additional approved was requested for the additional charges. After 4 hours of towing we were given a bill for ******* which included a ****** fuel charge. This guys **** is a scammer and they later wanted me to just submit a claim the insurance as fraud. Be careful using this service.

      Do not use this company!! They give out false estimates!! They charged me ********************* then another 100 to hook it up then 4 dollars a mile and then a fuel surcharge ontop of that....300 for a 16 mile tow which was double what they quoted me!! When speaking to the driver and the representative both had different answers from where the charges were coming from...just shady business all around...with no effort to resolve the matter or provide any honesty or customer ********************** i will be posting on ******* yelp, BBB, and all local and nearby city pages...i hope this review helps prevent a repeat experience for someone else....i shouldve taken time to read the reviews myself now i paid for that mistake...anyone reading this dont make my mistake!
