      I had car towed on January 3, 2023 for a total of 3.1 miles, from ******** and ********, *************, ** to *********************************************. When I was given total I questioned driver why it was so much and was told everything had gone up, gas was really expensive, cost of living had gone up so they got a little raise. I was not given a receipt, it was e-mailed to me and I was charged for a total of 25 miles when the car was only towed 3 miles. I have attempted to contact the company and every time I am told they will call me back and I do not receive a call back. Please advise. Thank you.

      Absolute criminals.....towed my car 6 miles. *** told when I called that cost is ****** and **** per mile to destination. I asked is that all and they said yes....came to drop off the car and was told ******. Added charge was for the driver to come to me. This was never discussed. Called the customer service to inquire on why so much and he said that's the cost and if I don't pay they will just take the car to the impound lot and hung up on me.

      I got a tow at 6pm on 1/30 from this company. They charged $360 ($235 hook up fee and $4 mile from base to drop off) for a tow less then 10miles from pick up to drop off location. Would not take payment over the phone or a card in person, Zelle only. I never got a receipt. I told them this price was outrageous. I had 3 people cal today and asked for a tow from same location at same time and received these prices $125 hook up fee and $4mile from pick up to drop off. The second quote was $165 hook up and $4 mile from pick up to drop off. I informed them I didn't receive a receipt and that's not what I was charged the night before. They said I had to talk to Billing and I can't get anyone to answer my calls to resolve the issue

      I called Speedy G Towing Company and asked for a quote to have my car towed. He quoted a price of $125 to hook up the car and $4 a mile. When we arrived to the destination to drop off the car, the total charge was $270.00. I called the company back and asked how did the 5 mile tow amount to $270.00. I was then told I had to pay for the truck coming to my home as well. The truck was 10 miles from my home. I told him it still does not add up to $270.00. I told him he didnt say i had to pay for the tow coming to my home. I said ok but still that is way more. Then he said I have to pay a fuel charge of $81.00. I was extremely upset and asked why when he gave me the quote that there was a fuel charge. The man that I spoke to said its not his company that is the way it is and then said he did not quite me a flat rate. I told him a quote for the tow includes everything and not just saying what the hook up and mileage is. I told him if there was a file charge, it should have been stated when he gave the quote.

      Hello I got in contact with Speedy G Towing *** on December 23rd 2022 at 2:30 p.m. I was quoted a price of $150 for a hook up and tow and $4 dollars for every mile towed. I was stuck on ************************************** and I needed to get to discount tire on ********************. That's only a 1 mile drop off when you calculate it. When the driver was ready to drop off my car he said it would be $359.75. I was shocked, I asked the driver why and he said that this is what was put into their system. He said he couldn't do anything he was just the driver. I called the company number and the person on the phone claims it took them 25 miles to get to me on **************************************, **************************************. And 2 miles to tow and drop me off at Discount Tire at *****************************************************************************************. First off the gentleman never mentioned anything about charging miles to get to the location of my vehicle was. I was told they only charged for the miles towed. Secondly I did the math after paying the driver and it did not add up to what the man on the phone was charging me .Even if I was truly charged 27 miles and 150 for a tow it only comes out to be $258 dollars. I called back the person who I spoke to earlier on the phone and they said they dont deal with that and there is no manager to talk to nor anybody that handles customer billing. I've called several times,different days of the week and either the employees give the same answer or they hang up on me. I have read the reviews online about this company and seen other describe similar situations. The company will quote one price and then charge a completely higher price when the vehicle is ready to be dropped off. If you don't pay they will simply hold your vehicle until they recieve the payment. When customers call to get answers they are also told by employees that they dont deal with that and there is no manager to talk to. To this day they still refuse to help me resolve this issue.

      My son and I called to have his truck towed to his house about a mile down road. The tow truck driver came and brought it to my son he told my son it was 295 to go about a mile. I was not told of this price so I was expecting to pay so much so they took my truck 21 more miles farther. How can I be charged 295 for a mile tow I wasn't told that until after you brit to me a mile down the road and now my truck is 21 miles away

      I was in ************* calling tows IN TOWN - again, IN *************. They use SEO bait and switch to appear as local when in fact they are not in your town. If youre in ******* and search them, they appear as being in *******. If youre in *************, they appear to be in *************. They then towed my car 1.5 miles, a 7 minute drive: $435. Had I paid cash, it would have been $372. Thieves. Literally ANYONE would have towed for less. In my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I was going to be charged FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS FOR A TOW THAT WENT 1.5 MILES. They dont quote you until its said and done. I had already been rear ended for being in a bad spot when my car stopped, I needed a tow desperately. Im in disbelief. These guys are total rats. Take your business to a reputable company that doesnt take advantage of people in distress.

      Hi,On Dec 1st, we ordered towing service from Speedy G towing company to tow my semi-truck. They told us the price was $1800 to tow it to a distance of about **** miles. They sent us the towing car and rendered the service. At the delivery destination, the driver charged us $5995.00. We informed him that this was not the original price that we had agreed upon in the first place. After that, we called the office of this company and I explained to the person in that office about the incident. He said to us that it was not him whom we called. We reminded him that we are dealing with your company regardless of the individual, and the price you have charged us is unfair because we have not agreed on it. After long discussion, they gave us two options:1. To pay the money they charged 2. To take our car to the impound lot as my semi-truck was on their towing car In short, I believe that the conduct of this company is fraudulent and has breached the contract and charged us a lot of money that we have not agreed on.In addition, they also charged me an extra amount of $404.66 which they did not mention in our conversation.Please look into this matter diligently as I am seeking relief from this unfair business transaction.I have enclosed a copy of the receipt of this transaction.*******,***************************.

      On 10/13/22 we requested a tow. They charged a $295 hookup fee, which is more than stated by other customers using the same company. They did not disclose any prices until after they had already finished the row and dropped it off. They did not send any type of invoice and used threats to force payment of their gouged prices. The total was $500 for a tow down the street. This should be a $100-200 tow. I wouldnt have even complained about $300. $500 is ludicrous, and their behavior was disgusting and disappointing business practice.

      Needed to have my car towed and called and was quoted a price of $150 for a hook up and $4 per mile. (So total price should have been $186) Tow was 9 miles and when the driver was ready to drop off my car said it would be $395! I asked why and he said that is what was put into their system. The driver said to call before I paid so I called and was told it was a mistake they had my car, VW bug, entered as a pick up truck and they adjusted hook up to the $150. I told the driver they adjusted it but then I was charged $325. I didnt realize until it was done and gone and reviewed the receipt that I was charged for 43 miles when they towed less than 10 miles. **** I called back the person who answered the phone said they dont deal with that and there is no manager to talk to. I sent a message thru their website to ask for a credit but no response. Should have read the reviews online about this company as this is clearly their scam. Quote one price and then charge another when they have you in a desperate situation. Its a bait and switch and they are doing it everyday to people. If you read the reviews online about this company there may be many, many others who they have done the same thing to and stolen money from.
