    My son had an appointment with the psychiatrist. I called to speak with the psychiatrist and the receptionist refused to give me the number.  She told me I was speaking to her in an abrupt manner. I informed her that this is how I naturally talk and that I was in no way being rude or abrupt with her. She refused to help me so I requested to speak with the manager.  The manager would not write down my complaint and told me she will deal with the employee how she wants.  She then refused to continue speaking with me and hung up the phone. All of my requests have been ignored.  The receptionists needs to learn how to address people and speak in a professional manner and mature and not refuse service because she feels my tone is abrupt, when its not.

    This information provided is not accurate.  The person who lodged the compliant did not come to the appointment, but rather sent a babysitter.  She was informed that per policy that legal guardian needs to attend the appt.  So, the mother showed up later and started using abusive language to the receptionist she also started using cuss words and she stated that she is not responsible for anything she says or does because she has a mental health issues.  She threw a clip board at a employee, and started creating a scene on purpose rather than trying to set up appointment with doctor.  We had to Threaten to call the police in order for her to leave, and we can not divulge other details due to HIPPA policy.
