    I hired the owner of this business after he came and tarped my roof for storm damage 6-25-24. He surveyed the damage and returned a few days later with a contract which I signed and I gave him a check for $5000. to buy materials so he could start right away. He stated that he didnt do more than one job at a time. Other than being on site to deliver partial wrong materials and move a few items, he has breached the contract. 4+ weeks have gone by and it was supposed to be a 2 week job. He had 2 workers at my home for 5 hours total. He never in a months time came at the time he agreed to meet or work. He will not return my money and has not followed through with picking up unwanted materials, bringing receipts, or billing me for services or materials that I wrote him I will consider paying. I dont have enough money left to do the work that needs to be done without that $5000. In doing more preparation for how to proceed, it has come to my attention that he has done this in the past necessitating arrest for home improvement fraud. I didnt check his history thoroughly enough. He is not to be trusted as I caught him in several lies.
