Tues. Sept 17, my husband and I planned to have dinner at The ***********. We parked right around the corner in the first parking space. We were there 15 minutes and he discovered he left his wallet in our car. The car was gone. We thought stolen until we walked around and then could see the sign. There was a very large cargo van parked in the second spot, backed all the way up to the building. No visible no parking sign at entrance or where parked. The manager of restaurant also agreed with this. When my spouse called, he was hung up on. I then called the owner **** Padawan, who was extremely rude despite me telling him we have pictures that show the signage was not visible. He also hung up on me. We left our dinner and daughter came to take us to our car. We had contacted the police **** and said they said should have a form I could sign saying they can take me to court for payment and release my vehicle. While there, the employee called owner and put him on speaker, and he called my daughter and I dumb c*** He would not listen to reason or agree to see pictures. I have pictures that show where I parked, where the van was, and how there is no signage at entrance or where my car was parked. He first said we could come back between 9-5 during regular business hours to sign the form, when I agreed to this, he then said there is no form. He said *** do not know what they are talking about. We have the entire conversation recorded on video. They also have BBB signage in their shop which we sent pics via email. I also have all pictures where parked, but was unable to get them to attach. Will send via email as soon as possible. I have never been treated this way or have a place of business use that kind of language. I am seeking a full refund and will also be calling the attorney general. Thank you

There are 2 apartment complexes next to each other. I parked in Vivo lot to deliver at Verve. I was in and out in under 3 minutes. I didnt realize that I was in a restricted parking lot. No sgns at entrance. No signs near spot. Tow driver has me hooked up in under 3 minutes when I returned. He stated he could take it and charge me $160 or unhook for only $80. I pointed out I didnt see any clear visible signs showing this policy and Id been away from car only few minutes. He pointed to small sign tacked on back of utility pole at least ***** feet from entrance and where I was parked. The sign is on utility pole opposite large stainless steel mirror and under light, its only bright glare. Not visible at all. I pointed this out. Explained I only knew it was there bc he pointed it out and theres no way anyone entering lot can see that or read it as it also faces opposite direction of drivers entering lot. He still insisted its $80 to unhook. I asked why there werent any signs and he stated theres that one, referring to only sign attached to utility pole, ***** feet away. The business is towtime towing and recovering. At some point during our discussion, he stated he worked for city, which I doubt the honesty of that statement. I feel like he was waiting in lot watched me exit vehicle and didnt make any attempt to notify me and Id like to see some signage so this doesnt happen to anyone in future. It seems like the tow company is using this as a scam to generate income. I have photos of the area at night. I measured the distance of sign from entrance and spot I parked in. Thank you
