My 2015 Ford Edge needed service for an issue that only a qualified mechanic could diagnose and repair. After needing it towed late at night to the dealership, I received a call from the service manager early the next morning. It looked like it might be 2 to 3 weeks before they were able to look at my car and make the necessary repairs. I felt it best to leave my car with DPatrick until they were able to take care of it. The very next morning I received a call that they had a cancelation and were then able to fix the issue and get me back into my car that very day. My husband and I are big fans of Ford vehicles and have dealt exclusively with Etter/DPatrick Ford for many years. Kudos to their service department for taking quickly taking care of my car. They are all a great bunch of people.

I bought a 2017 Dodge caravan SE with 103900 miles on it.
After I bought the van I noticed that the air in the back vents was always blowing cold air and in the front was always heated.
Turns out the van was leaking antifreeze and it was low in the radiator.
So obviously I have a leak in the system
Then codes start to appear and engine lights come on and we smell gas vapors coming from the vents.
Turns out I have a bad Cadillac converter Bank 1 which will cost upwards of $1500 to $2,000
From what I'm getting from the tech that I took it to these codes had appeared before they sold me the vehicle.
obviously they were cleared before showing me the van.
Obviously there was something wrong with it before they gave it to me.
I now get 10 miles to a gallon until I get the catalytic converter fixed.
I bought warranty insurance but they do not pay for that kind of stuff so I put $2,000 in the insurance that I probably won't even get to use
How can you call yourself the best place to get cars and vans and vehicles and you sell nothing but lemons
This is to other people looking for a vehicle
do not deal with this company it is not worth the risk.

4 service attempts on a car that has 15,000 miles. Issue still not resolved. I filed a claim with NCDS.

Their website offers the ability to “pre-qualify”, claiming no inquiry to your credit report and no impact to credit score.
1- they do not pre-qualify you. They call and tell you to come in and talk to sales before you can know if you ate pre-qualified
2- my credit report shows an inquiry
Very misleading. Very “bait and switch” type behaviour

I purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave on 7/06/24 from D Patrick Boonville. We had only had it for 2 hours when the dashboard lit up. We returned the car to the dealership and asked for our money back. They denied the request because they said that the Indiana Lemon Law did not apply to a used car. They offered to check the car out and tell us what was wrong, they told us that it was a catalytic converter then tried to charge us $2200 for the repair. I told them that we spent all of the money on the car, we ended up paying for $500 of the repairs.
We picked the car up on 7/15 from them, we were driving home from a banquet on August 2nd and the car died at a stop sign. We have the car towed to D Patrick that night, they called on Monday to say that they couldn't repair the car but they didn't know what was wrong. They don't repair Buicks. I have had to pay to tow the car to another location and I'm waiting for the mechanic to tell me what's wrong. I was told that it's most likely the timing chain that will require a new engine. I spent $8500 on the car, an additional $500 to replace the catalytic converter, and now $140 for the tow. This car has become a money pit. I plan to register complaints with the Indiana State Attorney General and the Indiana State Dealership Complaint Division. I will also post negative reviews everywhere I can to prevent someone else from being taken advantage of by this company.

I had contacted this dealer about a car early in the day. I had spoke to Paige Billings. I planned on purchasing and shipping this vehicle that day, however they sold the car under me while I was waiting for a quote back. This could have been a lack in communication or simply lack of morale from the dealer, but it still happened. I would advise to steer clear from this business and this sales associate.

My vehicle broke down on the way to trade it in. This was after being there for 3 days with the same issue and being given the all-clear to take it home a couple weeks prior. Waited 2 days to hear what was wrong with my trade-in. By the time I was called, I didn't even want the car I was looking at buying. Turns out the alternator went bad. I was told they would order the part, and it could be in on Saturday or Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around, a full week without my vehicle, and then I'm told there are no alternators available in the region for my vehicle. Instead, they said they could send it for a rebuild, which would save me a whopping $300 off the $1600 estimate. The rebuilt alternator would only have a 12 month/12k warranty (which I will get in writing). I'm now told my vehicle may be ready Thursday. That's 9 full days in the shop.
Going forward, I will find another shop for future repairs and oil changes, and when it comes time to buy my next vehicle, it won't be from any D-Patrick Dealership.

I am talking about D-Patrick Ford. Almost don’t know where to start. However I took my 2005 F250 with diesel engine. I had lost power so they had it for about a week. Put in a new turbo unit and said it was ready. Problem was it ran just like it did when I took it in so they kept it week after week went by and they kept assuring me they would be able to fix it. Then seriously after over 5 weeks I went and took it off the lot and went to another service center. They fixed the problem the next day and told me they were surprised D-Patrick couldn’t figure out the problem due to the fact the issue was a common problem for that veh. I talked to D-Patrick’s service manager and asked to see my old turbo unit. Reluctantly he did so. I was able to take it and have it checked out. To no surprise my old turbo unit was perfectly Ok. D-Patrick had given me an invoice for over $3,000.00. I sat with the owners son think it’s either Dick, or Peter ( well the same) O’Daniel who threatened to sue me if I didn’t pay the bill. So they replaced the turbo that didn’t need it, they also had a part they say they replaced on the invoice, but the other service shop replaced the part and even kept the old part that D-Patrick claimed to have replaced. I had the service manager cell phone# and called him after a few days to get answers. He told me Dick fired him because he told them he didn’t think I should pay for work they did that wasn’t needed. I felt terrible for him because he really was good at his job and liked what he was doing. I few months later D-Patrick’s attorney called me to get my side of the story. I text him the text I got from the fired service manager and have not heard anything since. That’s been a couple years ago. I friend of mine went to work for D-Patrick as a salesman and he left after one day because he claimed they used misled tactics to sell vehs. I have also heard, and experienced during oil change being charged $10 for tire rotation they did not do. Check that!!

I previously rated them one star over a misunderstanding. They resolved the issue.
