      On January 26, 2024, I visited Michael H****** of Revolution Hearing for the purpose of having him send in my R-Unitron hearing aid in to the Unitron factory service department to have the battery changed. That service couldn't be done locally. No specific time estimation was made to me regarding how long it would take other than "A few weeks if we're lucky". A week or two later I called for a progress report and someone named Ryan told me that Mr. H****** was trying to get me a better price of $*** instead of the initial $*** price he gave me. Three more phone calls over the next five weeks resulted in NO RESPONSE FROM HIM, EVEN THOUGH RYAN SAID EACH TIME THAT MR. H****** WOULD CALL ME BACK. It has now been MORE THAN SEVEN WEEKS AND I STILL HAVE NO HEARING AID. I NEED MY HEARING AID BACK AND IN PROPER WORKING ORDER! I WANT TO HEAR AGAIN! If, in reality, this is his way of convincing me to purchase a new hearing aid, then this is not the proper procedure. I even contacted the Unitron service department and, I believe it was ***, who said that she could find no evidence that they had ever even received my hearing aid to work on. So where is it? I would like to at least get it back so I could give it to someone else to do the work. I NEED TO HEAR AGAIN!! Please note: I have had an address change since this process began. The only part that has changed in my address is my house number. It is now **** *********** **** instead of **** *********** ****

      Mike H******, the licensed provider for Mr. ******, provided the following update regarding resolution:  "I met with Mr. ****** and explained to him what had happened. I apologized for the inconvenience and unprofessional service, I offered to have both aids repaired at no charge to him. He is happy with this resolution."

      In addition to what Mr. H******'s response said, I would like to add that his explanation of what had happened left no doubt in my mind that he is an honorable, as well as honest man, and I applaud him for that. I did indeed get my two hearing aids back, they both work ok, and that's what I wanted. I will reconnect with him soon as there is a bit of 'fine tuning' that needs to be done. That, however, is to be expected with a internally complex device such as this. His solution to the problem was a refreshing reminder that there are still good people around and Mr. H****** is a shining example. Thank You Mike! (And have a good day  -  you deserve it!)
