Ive been a homeowner For 30 years and have received a lot of service over those years. Peterman not only installed in excellent furnace and heat pump, but theyve helped me maintain it during the first year.******** also sent a crew out to clean my air ducts and they did an excellent job.Because I signed up for the maintenance plan, I had them out today to flush my water heater, and they checked the valves and drains throughout the house.I can honestly say I am very pleased with all the options Peterman has made available to homeowners. Great service, top notch support staff and customer service. We just had ****** one of the electricians out yesterday for an inspection He was very thorough and and respectful of our home. He told us what we needed to get done for a home inspection without being pushy and try to sell us a service.Very satisfied.Peterman Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

On Sep ****** I visited my friend *******************, ***************, ***********, ** . *** said his air conditioner wasn't working. I said ***.. .it is Cool outside and you have the thermostat set on 74. *** lost his wife this year and has dementia. I checked the air conditioner and furnace and the were both working. Later that week I passed his house and Peterman Bros. Had replaced BOTH his air conditioner and furnace and charged him ****** dollars. He paid for it with a debit card. Later I smelled gas..Mon 9th..and called the gas comp. They came out and said the furnace intake hose was leaking. I called *********..the Lady said it would be a couple of days. I said it needs to be done today. They came and fixed it. Here is my complaint: *** is 89 with dementia..his health is declining and he can't remember much. The last thing he needed was a bill for around ******$ for something he DID NOT NEED. he was duped! ********** created a situation..by not installing the furnace properly..that could have killed him. Shame on ********** for this incident. *** hasn't much money and needs assisted living. I called the police and adult protective services. They both said it is a civil case. The family will get a lawyer and proceed from here. This is a case of predatory abuse by taking advantage of an elderly man. So I got a text from costumer service asking what was wrong with the service i sent them this. Its been over a week and still no reply i have sent two more test since. This is the text. So I had you guys come out to see if my sewer line was clogged. They tried to use a camera, and they said theirs was broken. They said I should jet it to see if my pipe collapsed. I was told I had to sign the day of before they jetted it. I asked if you could come after 1130 because of work and they said that would be fine. You came while I was at work so I never singed it the day you did it beforehand. So I didn't see the work being done. They told me I needed almost 40 thousand with of work done. They said I needed a new sewer line and a new pipe in my basement. I had two other people come out after to get a second option. They both said my sewer line was fine I just need to fix my pipe in the basement. And it was a quarter of the price you quoted for the basement. I want to know if I really needed my line jetted. I feel like you made me finance 2500 that I didn't have became I was made to feel like I couldn't use my toilet or shower. You guys are the most unprofessional business I have ever used. How fortunate we are to have a customer like yourself to help us improve our services. Per your request, we sent our Service Professional for a clogged line. He had tried to unclog your pipe but was unable to restore flow through several attempts; he presented you with 4 options to resolve the clogged pipe and you chose to have us hydro jet the line to the city sewer. We came back and cleared all the roots and debris that was in the line and flow had been restored. The camera was sent through the sewer pipe, our Service Professional had discussed with you the issues that were present. We would be happy to send this to you. With us restoring flow, your main line was cleaned of roots and debris that was present.
We did drop the ball with the lack of texts from our Customer Experience Coordinator, a coaching has been set up to make sure this doesnt happen again, and procedures are being followed. We thank you for choosing Peterman Brothers.

peterman serviceman reviewed my leaking toilet stool and said he needed to replace a part but to do so it would require careful attention to the removal of a part, He said he did not have the tools to do that with him but if I decided to have him do it he would come back. He quoted the fix to cost $927.25. I told him it needed fixed so go ahead with your plan..When he returned he said he thought of a different fix. He just replaced a part added another piece reset the stool and still charged me $927.25. no special tools requiredno do the job.Within a few days the stool leaked again. I called, they sent out a service man he flushed it a couple times, refused to pull the stool and left. On the way out he said I needed to call customer service. We are fortunate to have a customer like you. Our Service Professionals have been to your home six times and have pulled and reset the toilet four of those times. They have inspected and replaced the ******, wax ring on four of the visits, on the last visit, the problem was not able to be replicated. You have said that we are not the only plumbing company that has been at home for this leak. Our Service Professionals are trained to provide the highest quality of work, and they have been attentive to see that you have received the value for their time at your home.
As far as our price for the work that had been completed,that ***** was agreed upon and signed by you before the work was started.

On Friday 7/12/24 I called to schedule an appointment for a simple clog. On Monday 7/15/24 ***** from Peterman Brothers shows up I explain the situation. I signed the form for him to perform the clog clearing service for $83. He brings in the machine to run the snake through the drain, he continues to run the snake through the drain and at times pushing the cable in the drain. The machine at times shakes quite hard but he continues to run the cable down the drain. He finally stops and says he has run 90 feet of cable down the drain. He now can't retract the cable, so he calls for someone to come and put a camera down the drain to take a look. ***** has shoved approximately 50 to 60 feet of cable into my septic tank. ************************* shows up they take a look in the basement at the crawl space (for which they pulled out insulation and threw on the floor and left it when they left), then *** says he is not going to run the camera down the drain since the cable is in there. He proceeds to tell me that repairs could cost upwards of $35,000 to get hooked up to city water. I have a septic tank. Now *** comes back with an attitude of great news he says that the new estimate would be $11,800. We did not go for the financing he wanted us to do. ***** called a supervisor, and they told him to cut the cable and bring back the machine. Leaving my home with the cable in the drain and with no word of how it was going to be removed. 7/17/24 I call to speak with a manager, have to leave a message with Customer Experience. 7/18/24 at 3:03 pm ****** calls to say they are working on it and I should have an answer by Friday 7/19/24. NO CALL FRIDAY! Monday, I call leave another message, still no answer. After several attempts to reach someone, ****** finally calls me back to tell me that I had pay to locate my septic and dig so they could come and retrieve their cable and OHHH they would reset my toilet at no cost to me. We thank you for your thoughts about your experience with us. Per a call that was made to us on 7/14, you told our CSR that you were on the city sewer.
We showed up on 7/15 and our Service Professional starts the process to unclog your pipes. Unfortunately, his cable got stuck and he did have to call another Service Professional. When they went under the home, they discovered you have a septic tank and realized the cable was stuck in the septic tank. It was asked where the septic tank was in the yard, you didnt know. It was explained that we would need to know where the septic tank was to retrieve the cable from your pipe.
We sent our Service Professionals to your home on 7/29/24 and they were able to locate your septic tank, retrieve the cable from your line and they also reset your toilet.

We had an air conditioner put in back in 2018 , according to stickers it was a 30amp , in the breaker box was a 40amp . We just had an inspection done to sell home and ask peterman to make it right - because it was flagged as being over amplified. They came out and still charged us $225 dollars to fix - this is not right . Even their worker and other hvac /electrical places said it should have been taken take of by peterman . At the time we installed your HVAC system, (February 27,2018) we did not offer electrical services. At that time, we only offered HVAC and Plumbing, Electrical is a service that we have only offered to our customers the last two and a half years. Any work other than HVAC and Plumbing,at that time, was outside our scope of work and licensed technicians.
Peterman Brothers has taken care of this as you were advised we would by other electricians. We sent out an Electrical Service Technician, he quoted you a price, you did sign the estimate, he performed the work agreed upon.

Purchased a fuurnace and ac unit about 18 months ago.At the same time I signed up for there service contract and have been paying 12 a month i was suppose to recieve a ac check up in the spring and a furnace check up in the fall never got a phone call from them ffor an ac check up i call them 2 jul i was ttold first appt was Oct don't need a ac check up in Oct i cancelled my contract and ask myself what have i been paying for all these months feel cheatedPeterman Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

If I could give zero stars I would!! The team in *********** is HORRIBLE! They came to my house looked at my unit and told us we needed a whole new unit. It took almost a week to get a quote of how much it would be, meanwhile I had called several times and told them I have a son with severe asthma and we need AC. Luckily my husband asked the **** guy at his job if he would look at ours, he came, cleaned the coils inside and outside the house and we had AC again! Literally not even an hour of work fixed our AC yet Peterman's let us go almost a week without and tried to make us buy a whole new unit!! We are fortunate to have customers like yourself to improve our services.Our Service Professional was at your home on 6/19 and had found the system frozen outside, work could not be done until it thawed It was during the call to ************** that the findings had been discussed and he had requested a call from a Comfort Advisor to see what it would cost for a new unit. A call was made that afternoon to ************** and estimates were sent the same afternoon to the email that was given. Since then,we have been wondering if you were going to make the decision to move forward with one of the 6 solutions we have presented.
