In July of 2023, BBB opened an investigation on Angel's Tree Service's business practices after receiving a complaint that the company had collected a deposit but failed to finish their contracted work. On July 17, 2023, BBB spoke with the business's owner and requested that the allegations in the complaint be addressed. As of August 6, 2023 BBB had sent three requests to the company's address, requesting a response. Those requests were sent on July 19, July 30, and August 6, 2023. To date, BBB has yet to receive a response.
In addition to the complaint on file, BBB also had concerns about a potential association between Angel's Tree Service and another company with similar consumer complaints, Noah’s Tree Service. When receiving consumer inquiries, BBB was given information that associated the owner of Angel's Tree Service with the marketplace transactions of Noah's Tree Service. When BBB spoke with Angel's Tree Service on July 17, 2023, the owner also provided the same address that has been associated Noah’s Tree Service.
BBB sent notice to Angel's Tree Service on September 14th, 2023, requesting a response to clarify their association with the company and/or its ownership.
As of November 2023, BBB has yet to receive a response from the business. Since BBB has been unable to receive current information from the business as well as its potential connection to Noah's Tree Service, BBB suggests that consumers proceed with caution when choosing whether to do business with this company.
