      I ordered a 5 bulb lily tree special, ordered, paid for, card debited in July 2024. According to the invoice 30th September to 5 October shipping time. To date no tracking number appeared, called customer service to be told my order is on back order because they ran out of the item and it was on a first come first served basis.
      So there is the scenario Brecks took my money, took my shipping money without having an inventory to match the order...or my order was not large enough and got bumped out of the queue for larger orders. By the time I receive this back order it will be to late to plant.

      I ordered Hibiscus plants several years ago and have tried everything to get them to thrive but they have never done more than grow a few inches and some of them just died. They replaced my dead plants with new ones but once again, they never grew decent and have never bloomed. I finally gave up trying and asked for a refund on my purchase because they promise a lifetime guarantee. What they don’t tell you is the fact that they only refund a partial amount back. You are not refunded the purchase price! I suppose a refund of any amount is nice but they misrepresent their promise. Their prices are much higher than a lot of other companies but with the lifetime guarantee I was willing to pay the higher price. I will shop elsewhere from now on!

      Don't order anything from Brecks! I've placed multiple orders from them and since they did some sort of system update, they can't locate anything and have stopped servicing me completely. I have several plants from last season that I thought I was going to be able to get replaced and they simply won't help because their system cant find my orders now. Feels like a big waste of time and money.

      Poor quality, order two iris rhizomes that were supposedly discounted from $36 to just over $15 each. When they arrived, they were barely over an inch long each , compared to any other company which sends you a 4-5 inch rhizome! They canceled the majority of my order because even though its was advertised on their webpage, they claim they were out of everything else I was interested in. So I got 2 quarter size roots for $33! At that rate, it would be 5 to 6 years before you could expect them to bloom if they even survived!Horrible company to do business with! it appears they have contracts with a lot of other nurseries and just use their time-honored name to bait and switch with a bunch of low quality products hoping people wont ask for their money back.

      Don’t order from Beck Bulbs! I ordered over $200 in bulbs and only one grew and it was scrawny. I explained this to the company and asked for my money back as it clearly states on their website that they will give a refund if unhappy with the product. They said that wasn’t possible and offered a credit. I persisted referring to their policy on line and they finally agreed to a refund. Still waiting for the cheque. Far better places to order from!

      Breck's provide wrong shipping time estimates. The ship by freight liner over the ocean from Holland. They advertise 3-4 weeks for shipping time. Realistically, it is 7-9 weeks. By then most of the bulbs or plants you ordered wii be dead, or it will be too late to plant. They will not take responsibilities at all. Stay away from this company.

      Delayed returning money to my account when an order is canceled. They said it takes several days for them to return your money on cancellations.Then, they do not reply to inquiries when they are late.Also, they have terrible shipping and packing of bare root plants- they throw your order in a plastic bag, slap on some postage, and on its way it goes to be knocked around while in transit with no packing material to cushion the plants or prevent trauma while in transit that you pay for..Terrible company.

      Horrible company. I will never order from them again. They ship items in the wrong season, then say they will replace the plants if they don't grow, but you can't get them to just reship an order. They give you credit, but not for the shipping or tax. Then they start billing you for all kinds of charges even when you use your credits. It has been a horrible experience with them. And if I was to order from them it would only be bulbs, their other plants are microscopic.

      I ordered over $500 of tulip bulbs back in October, shipping date kept being moved around but it still showed they were all shipping. I checked maybe a day or two ago and it said batched for shipping. I checked today and the majority of my items are not in my order anymore. I chatted customer service to see if they shipped (because I did pay for all of these items already). They said now they are out of stock and will not be shipping. How is something I already paid for over a month ago now "out of stock". Had they let me know a month ago almost everything was not going to ship then I could've ordered from somewhere else but this is New Enlgand and my time to plant was already cutting it close with them delaying the shipping until almost December.

      I must recommend that one avoid doing business with this company. Not only were they unable to fulfill a simple order, they did not respond to inquiry. On the other hand, they were very diligent in bombarding my inbox with promotional emails. It was a waste of time and money.
