      Just be aware the Breck's is passing your name and address to other organizations. This spring I have ordered some lilies. Ever since I am getting all kind of mail from organizations I don't know to donate money and it's escalating, it's irritating. Or course, I just ignore them, eventually they will get tired.

      I ordered an Amaryllis set (bulbs, soil, pot, etc.) as a gift to be sent to my sister-in-law. Receipt and shipping notification had the correct name and address. However, when the order was shipped, they put my name on the label. Thankfully the building management didn't simply send it back as unknown at this address. I notified Breck's of their error. Never heard back from them, no sorry, no response whatsoever.. I had previously been a fairly regular Breck's customer but will not order from them again.

      i bought over $250.00 worth of bearded iris and gladiolas in the winter of 2022. all of the gladiolas bloomed beautifully. more that 2/3 of the bearded iris just rotted. i had them all in the same soil with the same water and fertilizer. i was so disappointed and i contacted Brecks but got no response. very sad.

      My puppy passed away on 8/17/23 unexpectedly. I ordered a Hybrid Hibiscus to plant along side her ashes on the day she passed. I received notification that the plant would not arrive until 10/9 thru 10/23....I called and they said they would ship sooner. I decided to wait and I called again on 10/23 and was told that the ship date had been moved to mid November without any notification. I complained and was given a another promise that shipment would be made within 3 days. No ship notification received.I called again on 10/30 another promise that it would be shipped that day. No shipment notification received.I'll have to bury my pup in the spring thank to this unethical business.Dont Ever buy from this company.I wish I had paid closer attention to reviews, but it was a difficult time for me.How are these people staying in business. I've sent an email requesting a full refund. Please save yourself the dissapointment and frustration. *************************

      Ridiculous shipping times for fall planting bulbs. Originally to be shipped Aug/Sept, which would have been OK. It's now the middle of Oct, I see that my order is available to be shipped but still hasn't been shipped. I live in a zone 3 growing area, often we have snow by now, and I'm still waiting.... I also see that one of my items is apparently back ordered until Nov. Absolutely of no use to me. When I ask for a refund to be issued in the form of a cheque as the credit card I originally used for the order was compromised and closed by my bank, I'm told to either contact my financial institution to explain the situation or wait until the refund bounces back to Brecks and THEN cheque will be issued. This is customer service??Save yourself the money and frustration and shop elsewhere

      I too, have ordered from Beck's. the experience with customer service left much to be desirered. But I just received their brochure this week. I thought to give them another try, but after reading all the reviews, I will not place an order. It is obvious that things have not changed. I have ordered bulbs from the Netherlands when I was in Keukenhof, never had any problem with delivery, excellent customer service, excellent bulbs... at least the ones that the squirrels left for me... Thank you for saving my pocketbook and frustration when dealing with Becks. Happy gardening

      Ordered 3 Hardy hibiscus fall of 2022. They were bare roots. Not one grew. They gave me a credit.not sure if I even want to use it after all the terrible reviews Ive read

      I purchased a poppy plant (red) last year the shipping date n when I did receive it weeks apart. As for the plant itself grew leaves but the flower part turn black no flowering for me. So took picture tried to send to you low n behold can't forward on info to ******************** .ca where they say to do. I have been buying plants from here for 20 yrs. this is my last year to many flowers not growing to many issues to to refund or exchange

      Breck's send an ad with a card and on the postcard like you can check off the bulb collection you want to purchase, provide email, in turn they send you notice when your order has been processed. And then send a bill. Well, I just received a declined to process my order, which was only 119.00, Letter states that after investigation into my credit history( i didn't know i had applied, but i do have an excellent score of 830) they could not process order unless I paid upfront!! wow, I have never had late payments, we are both professionals, only one credit card, own my home, etc.. and I cannot get credit for 119? Something wrong here. Anyway, I will never order from them again and definitely will discourage my avid gardener friends not to purchase. By the way they have a system of credit scoring, 1-99, Brecks stated I only scored 83, well what is considered high enough to be a customer???? So don't buy unless you score in what range?????they do not mention that particular information. Now I know why they went bankrupt back in the 90s.

      I ordered from Brecks but the ship date I was given was weeks out. I have tried to unsubscribe from their emails more than a dozen times. They continue to spam me and will not stop. Awful company.
