    Garage Doors of Indianapolis repair person came on Friday, December 22, 2023. He advised repair could not be made because circuit board had been discontinued and that we needed to replace overhead door unit. I have MyQ app on my phone that I could open and close the door with my phone. I even talked with the repair person about this. He quoted me $499 to replace the unit. He did not have the unit on his truck and re-scheduled for today, December 26th. A different repair person arrived today and installed the overhead door unit. When he had finished installing and we paid, I asked him about the MyQ and he said this unit did not have Wi-Fi capability. After he left we called the company and told him this unit was not what we agreed to. They wanted to charge an additional $100 for that unit. I feel their product was misrepresented. At this juncture, they should replace the installed unit with the one that has Wi-Fi capabilities for the same price we paid.

    Our records show that at no time did the customer request an operator that had MyQ the price for this operator is more expensive that the $499 quoted and installed for the customer. However we are willing to upgrade the customers operator and waive the $100 fee if she will contact me directly at ************

    I'm not sure why this complaint was closed.  I have not received anything from BBB nor the Garage Doors with a response to my complaint.  Can you please explain?
