The worst healthcare company I have ever dealt with. The Apria breathing equipment has not worked since it was delivered. The machines turn on but both the large stationary machine and the portable tank do not delivery enough oxygen for a mouse. I contacted Apria soon after the equipment was delivered, right after I tried to use it. Apria said they would replace it today; they did not. This is very serious. I have multiple pulmonary embolisms and need help breathing. So in conclusion, Apria delivers faulty equipment and then lies about replacing it. There should be a zero star option.Apria

I have been an Apria customer for over 20 years for CPAP supplies. Over the years I have had full insurance coverage. For some reason this year Apria has decided to charge me more than they are allowed in 2/2023 & 5/2023. When I called after the 2/2023 charged the customer service agent told me I have 100% coverage. Duh! Why are they billing me and she couldn't answer. I have been back and forth between Apria and my insurance and my insurance has been back and forth with them. I have received monthly statements showing -0- balance and then they add the charges back after they send the statement and then I get phone calls from their overseas phone center telling me I have a balance. Today they called again and when I told them my statement shows adjustments for these two charges they cannot find them in their system. I will now need to find another supplier and will be figuring out where else I can report these unscrupulous business tactics.Apria

I have to say this company is unbelievably disappointing. I have dealt with Apria for CPAP coverage on and off for a couple of years. The first experience was when I needed CPAP supplies for my machine. They sent out the wrong supplies. When I contacted them they informed me that they were sorry, and proceeded to send me two more set of the wrong supplies. I finally had to contact my doctor and go through a different provider. They still billed my insurance company.A couple of years later, I received a new CPAP machine through Apria. During this time I had a number of medical issues, including Covid, a sinus infection (cause Apria did not send me new supplies), etc. during these times I was not able to consistently use my CPAP. Apria did not contact me during this time nor did they bill my insurance company. Instead they contacted me and informed me that they would be sending out someone to pick up the equipment. The pick up was 4 days are first contact. I called Apria to request that they hold off on picking up of the equipment and even had my insurance company call Apria. They ignored that request and sent out someone to pick up the equipment regardless. I continued to talk to Apria explaining the situation, even to the point that I had my insurance company on the phone providing an auth number to Apria to bill them and Apria refused to honor it. Instead they sent me a threatening email claiming that they would bill me for the remainder of the balance if I did not return the equipment within 7 days. The letter arrived in my mail box 8 days after it was dated due to new years. I called Apria to request to pay the bills that they had not submitted so I could keep the equipment which they said they would happily accept but I would still have to return the equipment. The individual I spoke with could not articulate what I needed to do to rectify this beyond getting an insurance auth number. So now I have to call my insurance company again. Terrible experience.Apria

My husbands oxygen concentrator is not working. Called company at 12:30 am 12/31/23 was advised to use oxygen tank and customer service walked me thru it. Tank did not work. **************** said they would message someone to bring oxygen. Called again at 2:20 am was told on call driver did not answer call and management was called. **************** was kind and concerned but waiting for help, husband needs oxygen only at night when he is sleeping. We are both sitting up waiting. 24 hour on call does evidently does not mean we can supply you with oxygen just we will answer phone. How can you be an on call employee and not answer the phone, I guess I am old school.Apria

I want to give a zero rating but it won't let me.Over the past 7 to 8 years they have sent me to collections twice. Even though they had my credit card on file. Never got a bill, just collection letters. In December of this year I received another collection letter for charges that I didn't have. Again, no bill was ever sent.Had to work with Apria ever time and all the debts were reversed. The system they use is so old and outdated.I DO NOT recommend this company ****Apria

Terrible experience. It started with my overpaying and they didn't want to refund me. They actually said "you have a $0 balance, and an overage of $130 but we are not going to refund the monies because you have a claim out." For the record, I will always have a claim because they send me supplies regularly". I was on the phone with them weekly and had 2 separate 3 way calls with my insurance company on the other line telling them I met my *** our of pocket and they should have never taken payment from me. After about 5 months, they finally refunded the monies. Then I get a bill stating I owe $250 for the previous year! I went through the same thing as I did for the refund. Multiple phone calls, 3 way calls with my insurance company. On Dec 5th, I had a 3 way call and was told I have a $0 balance for 2022. The following week, I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency stating I owe $156!! I call Apria again, asking to speak to a manager ( which I asked multiple times before, but they NEVER transfer me to a manager). I ask them about the letter, stating I was told I had a $0 balance. She said he told me I had a 0 balance because the claims were out. Then she said he told me I owed $250, which I said no, he said I didn't owe anything and I can give her the name of the insurance representative that was on the other line and heard the same thing. Then she said I now owe $320! I reminded her that in this one phone call, I have been told 4 different amounts. I went from $0, to $156, to $250, to $320 in one phone call! I said if I owed them money, why did they refund me?, no answer. I told them I didn't want them to send me anymore supplies, I own the machine and will get supplies elsewhere. She said I still owed for the machine! I was told back in Aug that I owned the machine! They are horrible about doing right with their customers. More than once I had to say "look at the notes in your system" and then they still came up with excuses to not do the right thing.Apria

I've been on hold for 30 minutes with no option to email. I've been receiving CPAP supplies for the last owner of my house for 1.5 years. Very wasteful! This is the worst experience I have had with a company that I can remember.Apria

This business is terrible! I seriously don't know how they run a business nor how they train their representative. I've been receiving phone calls from them saying I have an outstanding balance. When I first talked to a billing rep she told me that the insurance denied my claim and it was my responsibility to resolve it after I already paid my deductible. After telling the rep that it was Apria's responsibility to resolve the issue with the insurance if I already paid my part. The rep told me to handle it however but if don't resolve this then it'll just go to collection. Thus, I called my insurance and they told me that the claim was waiting for Apria to call the insurance to make an authorization so the insurance can send them the money. I called Apria back and was transferred to the senior billing department to better assist my case. It turns out I was right and that the claim did require Apria's ************************ to call the insurance to make the authorization. In addition, their billing website is terrible to where nothing is updated so none of your payment or statements is up to date.Apria

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their phone menu is convoluted. They gave me a 4 hour window, TWICE, to pick their equipment. NO SHOW! Threatening to charge me for equipment if not returned! Got the run-around from the beginning.Apria
